DEMI MOORE: ‘DON’T EVER CALL ME A HOLLYWOOD LEGEND’

Posted by Adam

Demi MooreACTRESS Demi Moore hates being referred to as a Hollywood legend.

The 47-year-old superstar — who’s married to 32-year-old heartthrob Ashton Kutcher — says she isn’t ready to put her glittering movie career into retrospect.

“When you’re living, you don’t ever even think of yourself in terms of that word,” she said. “I guess I’m not ready to be a legend. In the end, if you’re fortunate enough to have a career that spans a long time, there’s gonna be some crap mixed in with the good stuff.

“You just hope that, overall, you’ve been true to yourself. At the end of the day, I hope that what I leave behind has been authentic and honest, and in some way that I can keep trying to give back more than I’ve been given.”

Moore insists her success is more important to her than fame.

“There’s a price that you pay for having some fame,” she said. “But nothing that is written about us has anything to do with the reality of our lives.

“Forget fame, I’m thrilled with the success I’ve had. I’m thrilled to have been able to create goals for myself and achieve them. I set goals for myself in everyday life, not just in my career. Some days, my goal can be just getting to the dry cleaner.”

Demi recently revealed she smiles to make herself look young.

“I don’t know if there is any particular secret to looking young, but there is one thing that I’ve thought of recently,” she said earlier this week.

“I think that laughter and smiling are one of the best antidotes to aging that you could possibly have. I think that, in general, I pretty much think of myself as still being, like, five. Maybe that’s why my twitter picture is of me at five. That’s how I feel. I’m just still trying to figure it all out myself.”

I don’t like gossip, but it sure is entertaining….. A legend;HECK NO, a cradle robber, mother who sets a bad example, youth- seeking maniac: FOR SURE!Demi: aren’t you just a little concerned that eventually plastic surgeries will run out and you’ll look more like his mother than wife, wake up girl.

LEGEND LEGEND LEGEND!!! GAWD Demi come on! We all know your age, and honestly who gives a rats behind! However, your recent venting about wanting to have a baby with Ashton is not only SELFISH but ridiculous! YOU are too old to start having babies again. All that plastic surgery you spend thousands on? Gone in a nano second once your baby fat comes in. Adopt! I had parents (like yourself) who were just determined to have a “Change of life” baby. There are 14 yrs different between my two older siblings. I grew up with old stogie parents who treated me like an adult from day one. Its not right, your being selfish ROBS your children of being a child Demi! By the time they hit the 6-7 yr old stage (I’m sure you remember) they are on the run 24/7. Rummer won’t stick around! She doesn’t want to be your babysitter! Finally, just grow UP. You cannot capture the past in anyway shape or form. I’m 44 and finally figured that out a couple years ago. The 80′s are over honey……….forever a memory to all of us that were there.

I agree with Menina! She said it all, “Demi: aren’t you just a little concerned that eventually plastic surgeries will run out and you’ll look more like his mother than wife, wake up girl.” Standing Ovation on that one! Well said girlfriend!

there’s a lot of mean people out there. Live your life the way you want to if it makes you happy, and don’t hurt anyone in the process and you’ll be fine. I’m just sayin’.

Apple now has Rhapsody as an app, which is a great start, but it is currently hampered by the inability to store locally on your iPod, and has a dismal 64kbps bit rate. If this changes, then it will somewhat negate this advantage for the Zune, but the 10 songs per month will still be a big plus in Zune Pass’ favor.
