Jennifer Aniston Does What Makes Her Happy

Jennifer AnistonACTRESS Jennifer Aniston has vowed to stay “true to herself”.

The actress says she no longer cares what other people think about her — she’s only interested in making herself happy.

“I don’t think you can control that at the end of the day,” she said. “You can’t stunt what you do to please or not please the public. And the media will create stories whether they are true or false.

“So why stop doing what makes you happy? Be true to yourself and everything else will follow.”

The 41-year-old says she keen to keep her work fresh in future by taking on a wider range of roles.

“Obviously, I’m drawn to comedy, good or bad,” said Aniston, whose recent movie, The Bounty Hunter with Gerard Butler, bombed at the box office. “But I love doing parts that are different and I sprinkle those throughout to get creatively unstuck.

“I’m really excited about my next movie Buttercup. It’s not trying not to make people laugh and it’s not a big tent pole picture. It will be more for me — and for the people who say, ‘You should do something serious.’”

    Well I dont know where you are looking. The Bounty Hunter has grossed approximatly 170 mil with productin cost of 40 mil. I would sat that is not bombing. The producers etc are laughing all the way to the bank over your comment.

    The Bounty Hunter DID NOT bomb, despite all the haters claiming that it has. According to papers/news, the movie has made over 90 million worldwide so far, and was even in the top ten as of last week. Tell me how that’s a “bomb”? Jennifer brings money in. She doesn’t do oscar-worthy roles (though people, myself included, think she should. She’d be wonderful), but she has fun doing what she does, and she makes money doing it. Just look at box office numbers for this weekend! While the dragon movie continues to take the top spot, kick-ass made an abysmal 19 million, followed by date night, which made 17. And nobody is being critical of this. Hmm. Wonder why? Jen, the only reason people bag on you is because you were married to the sperm donor when he looked good. Keep on livin’.

      get a life, i can’t believe i’m writing this…..anyone saying negative comments about a strong woman who happens to be nice and beautiful is just jealous…although i don’t know if she is nice, i don’t know her, but i do know she is strong and successful, the proof is in the pudding.
      grow up. and btw…..leaving brad was not such a bad deal for her, look at what her life is about? totally at peace, compared to ? living with a. jolie has got to have it’s drama. hello, blood around your neck? excuse the negative comments, i don’t know her either. but the proof is once again in the pudding.
