Robert PattinsonROBERT Pattinson worries that women will only want to date him because he’s famous.

The hunky British actor — who’s widely rumored to be dating his Twilight costar Kristen Stewart – fears girls will try and get to know him so they can sell their stories to celebrity magazines.

“I can never live up to the image that the media have created, I am not that ‘hunk’,” Rob said.

“Besides that there is always the fear that women only want to date me because I’m famous, and with a little bad luck they will go straight to the gossip press afterward.”

Rob, 23, recently insisted he’s too “down to earth” to start behaving like a diva.

“I love throwing things around in my hotel room haha,” he joked. “No, seriously, I think I’ve stayed pretty normal, I am much to down to earth to make crazy demands. Well, except for a private chauffeur, but that is only because I am a disaster on the road and others even forbid me to drive.”

The heartthrob then said it’s “a bit overwhelming” to be Hollywood’s most wanted actor.

“At this moment it is too much, everywhere I go, girls are screaming or fainting,” he said. “I don’t understand why, because I am a normal guy who is not at all doing his best to be noticed. And really; I’m not as sexy as Brad Pitt?”

    Trust when I say, I personaly would not date him for his fame! :lol: There are far too many other reasons. He is blessed with beauty and brains. And, well, has anyone else caught a glimpse of those photos focusing on Robs ‘special place’? :D Yep! The hot yummy goodness that is Robert has NOTHING to do with fame. Ok, I don’t want to be totally shallow here, so I will mention his boyish laughter, and his ability to not take himself so seriously. ;)

        I didn’t but thank you for the info! I think there is something going on there. If you look at pix of them before break up she is happy. I almost fell over when I googled them and saw a smile on Kristen’s face OMG! I didn’t know she had the stuff it takes to smile. Then again they say it takes more muscle to frown then to smile. Kristen’s face must be so strong by now!

    Some woman may be gold-diggers or only looking for fame and fortune, but for a woman that really wants to get to know the “Real Rob”…his fame won’t matter…in fact it may be intimidating to be put through such scutiny. It must be hard to be so famous and beloved by so many, and sometimes not feeling like you own your own life, but besides being so good looking, Rob has to understand that part of his appeal is that he appears to be so “uneffected” by alot of this fame, so hence….he becomes even more admired and adored by his true fans because he comes across as being humble, and charming. Also, having come from such a nice family back ground as he has this is also something that I like many, will find appealing. A sincere woman, will be able to seperate Rob from the movie-star, and realize that he is a man with thoughts and feelings, dreams and insecuities….just like any other human being. It would be nice if all the paps and people of little or no respect would cut him some slack, as he has a family that has to read all this gossip about him, and I could see how that could be hurtful for them. He should be able to still have a private life, but being realistic he must also understand that people are curious about him and his world….unfortunatly this is the down side of fame. I just hope and pray that he can balance this out and still remain the charming, handsome guy he is, and still have his family and true friends there to stay supportive of him. Even though his life may seem like turmoil at times, I hope he realizes his full potential and that he makes alot of fans very happy…fans that appreciate his acting abilities as well as his charm and style. He should never think he hasn’t earned what he has….it is just a huge bonus that he was blessed with such good looks and appeal to add to his talent. In time he can act in more diverse roles to show himself and his fans that he is more than just the character of Edward Cullen, and I believe he is doing this now. I know this is important for him as well, and as a fan of his I look forward to seeing him mature into the actor and man he wants to become. In the mean time he should never sell himself short on his abilities….I have a feeling that great things are in store for him. I bet Brando and other greats went through their doubts too, but this only shows that they are human beings. Fame and fortune can be hard, and it requires a level head because of all the responsibility that comes with it, but I’m confident that Rob can handle it. Right now he just hasn’t had much down time, and that can make any person antsy.

But, mostly depends on your profession. One of my best friends just got her MBA in psychology and it took her over a year to find a job. (sorry if that doesn’t help the depression factor. Just trying to be honest) :(
      I say stick around here for awhile, as you know, those around are always good for a laugh. :)
      Personally, I’m beyond guessing over those two anymore. :(

    While tending to my 4 legged children, I had a thought..scary right? Anyway, Remember how Rob is always saying he doesnt want to share who is dating because by the time it is printed it could be “old news”? Kinda makes ya go HHMMM! Maybe, after the heat involved in filming Eclipse, they did have some sort of something but then remembered that it is just a job and decided to stay friends. Lets face it, if any of us had been filming meadow and bedroom scene’s it would be very hard to stop thinking the “I love you ” way. Just a thought that I wanted to share.

    Hello gals! Everyone had a nice weekend? anyone hear about the “Men are from Mars,, woman are from Venus” books? They want to cast (rumor) Robert and Kristen for the roles! They can’t do that. Kristen is not from Venus! :( They need a girl that looks like a girl for that role! Jeez. It would be “men are from mars and we guess she is too?” That is what they should call it ;)

I’m not sure if you all know this but it appears that K-Stew & her ex boyfriend Michael Arangano have been caught on camera (see Bella’s Diary) together at the Coachella Music Festival this week now I’ve done a split screen with another photograph of Michael Arangano that I found on Google & that of the male sitting beside K-Stew at the festival & it seems to me to be a match & we haven’t seen him in a while so maybe he has changed a bit but the resembilance in uncanny & someone did put on their Twitter account yesterday that they did see K-Stew, Michael Arangano, her older brother Taylor Stewart & his girlfriend sitting together & in these new photographs there is four people so it might be true after all & also K-Stew hair looks darker to that of the photographs (see Robert Pattinson Life) of her with her so called boyfriend RPatz at Heathrow airport in the United Kingdom on the 11th of April 2010, strange.
