JESSICA Simpson has learned to embrace her “sexy” new persona — insiders say.

The curvy star has apparently bounced back from ex-beau John Mayer‘s “sexual napalm” comments and is becoming more comfortable with her body.

“Jessica used to be very self-conscious about her curves,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“She occasionally wore low-cut tops, but she was never one for advertising her natural assets. In fact, she was downright uncomfortable.

“It took Jess a while, but she’s finally grown into her body. She feels empowered to walk into a crowd and feel all eyes on her.

“Her new attitude is, if you’ve got it, flaunt it!”

Despite being happier with her body, Jessica is said to be boozing as she copes with the mess that is her love life.

Sources recently claimed the singer/actress turned to drink when her brief romance with rocker Billy Corgan hit the skids.

“When it didn’t work out between them, Jess started feeling bad about herself again and she seems to be drinking way more than usual,” dished the insider.

“Jessica is a beautiful, intelligent girl but her confidence is shot. She needs to look on the brighter side of things and realize the answer lies within — not in the bottom of a bottle.”
