AMANDA Seyfried is tired of having a long-distance relationship!
The actress has called on her British boyfriend Dominic Cooper to join her New York because she often feels like their romance is “on hold” while they live in different countries.
“I bought a place. He didn’t yet. I actually bought real estate, not in L.A., not in London, but in New York, so I’m hoping he’ll decide to move over for a while,” Amanda said. “But he’s got all his best friends in London. He can’t leave them behind. I don’t know what it will take.
“Actors are separated all the time. It almost feels like things are on hold, but we send each other messages during the day. It’s easier than I thought it would be.
“My friend was talking to me… and he was like, ‘You’re not worried?’ And I thought, ‘What’s to be worried about?’ It’s fine, it really is.”
Amanda, 24, recently admitted she grew up thinking sex was “dirty and disgusting”.
“We have to be open-minded. I’m not saying American’s are narrow-minded — I’ve lived in New York and Los Angeles — but where I grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania… there was a small-town mindset that made me feel that sex was wrong,” she said.
“When my sister lost her virginity, I thought that was dirty and disgusting, and I was scared of sex. I remember I had a fight with my friend when I touched a boy for the first time and I didn’t tell her. She got mad with me, not because I didn’t tell her, but because I’d done it in the first place. “
