The Hollywood hunk — who split from the Legally Blonde star in November last year — is apparently missing Reese and her two children.

“Reese was without any doubt the love of Jake’s life,” a source told the PopEater website.

“He took the breakup hard and still isn’t ready to move on yet.

“As much as he would love to have remained friends and see her and her children, it was just too painful.

“They have little contact with each other which is probably for the best.”

Previous reports claimed Reese and Jake split because Witherspoon — who is divorce from Ryan Phillippe — didn’t want to get married.

    reese is a cutie. i adore her. jake is completely and totally addicted to her. he had her and now he realizes what a terrible mistake it was to leave her. he can never get over how clean and smooth she is and how good her scent is. she is super addictive and poor jake must now suffer the consequences of breaking his reese addiction.
