According to PopEater, industry big wigs are worried that the 17-year-old starlet — who was left red-faced earlier this week when a video hit the internet of her grinding with a 40-plus-year-old man — will go down the same destructive path as Lindsay Lohan.

“Everyone in Hollywood is worried that Miley is on the path to becoming the next Lindsay Lohan,” said one prominent Hollywood casting agent.

“It’s the oldest story in showbiz — when a child star grows up and loses his or her entire fan base.

“For every Jodie Foster that exists, so does a Gary Coleman.”

A source close to Miley then revealed the star is “sick of being seen as squeaky clean Hannah Montana and can’t wait to be more like her real self, while no-one in Miley’s inner circle, including both of her parents, dares warn her about such an extreme reinvention.”

Miley — who’s currently dating Aussie actor Liam Hemsworth — has previously spoken of her desire to shed her clean-cut image and be taken more seriously.

“I’m really looking forward to turning 18,” she said last month. “I have bought my own house and I’m very excited about moving there. I’m quite independent anyway because I have to travel a lot.

“I have four siblings so my mum and dad can’t always come along. But I think people are going to take me more seriously this way.

“I have achieved a lot — more than some grown-ups in my position have. And I don’t have the feeling that people are taking me seriously, simply because I’m so young. I hope that’s going to change.”

    If Miley wants to be taken “seriously”, she has to understand that there is a difference between being an adult slut, and an adult lady. A lady she is not. She’s so anxious to change her image that she has gone in the exact opposite direction. Only an idiot like Miley Cyrus would WANT to be like Lindsay Lohan.
