EVEN Elton John reads the tabloids!

The music legend apparently approached Lady GaGa at Sting and Trudie Styler‘s star-studded Rainforest Benefit Concert in New York this past Thursday to ask the Poker Face singer about her love life.

“Did you break up with Matt [Williams?]” Elton asked GaGa, according to the New York Post.

“No, why?” GaGa responded.

“Oh,” said Elton, “I read it somewhere.”

“Do you believe everything you read?” the singer said. “I don’t have a penis either, Elton.”

“I love Matt,” Elton concluded. “I just want you to be on your own!”
