DID Jessica Simpson really hook up with Jeremy Renner?

Sources say the the romance rumors between the two were “just for publicity” and insist nothing happened between the reality TV star and Hurt Locker hunk.
“Jeremy has actually been dating a New York-based blonde who isn’t Jessica on and off for the past few months,” a source told RadarOnline.
“She asked Jeremy when the story about him and Jessica came out and he said they were just friends and that it was just for publicity.”
Renner and Simpson have been linked since awards season when they were spotted chatting at a cocktail party in early March.
Simpson recently admitted she’s feeling old as she approaches 30.
“Oh gosh, I know, I’m pushing 30,” she told OK! magazine earlier this month. “It’s happenin’ and I feel it. I think 30’s going to be a good year for me.
“I think I experienced a lot in my twenties — a lot more than a lot of people in their twenties would experience. I feel old in a lot of ways, but I feel naïve in ways that I can’t wait to see what happens next.”
