SHOCKING pictures of Michael Jackson‘s autopsy are in danger of ending up online, insiders fear.
The graphic images were taken in connection with the 50-year-old superstar’s autopsy after his drug-related death last June, and internet sites are desperate to publish them, according to American tabloid the National Enquirer.
“Some of the edgier internet sites run by foreign operators are attempting to secure the photos through unauthorized release — with talk that the pictures could be worth upward of $5 million!” a source said.
“There are genuine fears the pictures could be leaked or that computer hackers could get to them — and the LAPD and DA’s office are taking extreme preventive measures to keep them secure.”
Authorities even consulted the FBI about transferring the images to an encoded disk, said the source.
“The disk would require multiple verifications before the pictures could be downloaded and viewed,” blabbed the mole.
“But Michael’s distraught family knows that some foreign factions and Web sites will still try to get the pictures.
“Publishing these awful images would have a frightful and lasting impact on Michael’s children, and that’s why every effort is being made to safeguard the photos.”
