Kellan Lutz and Ashley Greene Being Screwed Over by Twilight Producers?

Sources claim Summit Entertainment — the company behind the Twilight movies — have been leaking stories to the press to make the pair look “greedy” because they’ve demanded pay rises to reprise their roles for upcoming installments in the vampire film franchise.

Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson have already received huge raises for their roles in Stephenie Meyer‘s fourth book, which is rumored to be split into two movies. But the secondary characters are still negotiating salaries.

“Summit leaked the story to turn fans against the cast,” a source told Us Weekly magazine.

“They are leading the negotiations to the press and are trying to make them look greedy… Summit has made millions and the cast is just looking to get what they deserve.

“The leads made 20 times as much on Eclipse than they did on Twilight.

“The non-leads are not asking for anything close to that.”

    I think summitt should be ashamed of themselves! They are making so much money off these movies and yes, Kristen,rob and taylor should be making more then the others but, their pay raises are 7.5 million for rob and Kristen plus they get a gross amount of the earnings and taylor is getting 5 million I dont think a couple more hundred thousands going to break them. They are the greedy ones. And , NO i dont think that Alice and Emmett can be replaced seeing that we have grown to love them. I cant see anyone else play their parts!!

    Summit is the greedy one. They have not turned me against Kellan and Ashley. These actors are very good acting skills. If Summit pay Kristen $7.5 million for that crap acting of Bella, then they should also increase the minor actors salary. Kellan and Ashley are much much more better actors than Kristen.

    If Summit ever place these actors, I will boycott the movie. It is us fans who have the power to increase a studio profit. It is us who take our hard earned dineros, l’agent, money to see the movie. And it is time Summit realize that we are the ones with the power. Power to us.

    ITA, if Kristen is paid to do nothing, which is what she does because she does not contribute to these films in any way. They can afford to pay the people who CAN actually act.

      Laura-I agree with you.KS has only one expression,that blank wide mouth stare and that is not worth what she is being paid.When she has her mouth open in that blank stare she looks like a fish that is trying to breath underwater as it swims.Someone should tell ks mouth breathing is not attractive in any way.If you read other articles on the net you can find that KS was not Stephanie meyers first choice to play Bella.She was really interested in Alexis Bledel(Rory from Gilmore Girls)to play Bella. To bad the studio and the directors/producers didn’t listen to stephanie meyers idea on Bella.

    What we ‘Twi’ fans need to do is start some knind of spectacle over this …. start some kind of web chain … to prompt Summit to do the right thing and give Kellan and Ashley an appropriate raise and bring them back into the Saga. Because, to me, without Kellan as Emmett and Ashley as Alice – this isn’t Twilight to me anymore! They are almost as important as the main characters, Rob, Taylor, and Kristen (whether you like her or not she is ‘Bella’ now)! Does anybody have any ideas how to do this!!!???

      I really don’t know, but I’d be on board if anyone had any suggestions. I guess the old fashioned way of writting tons of letters. But, how to get the word out to the fans who feel helpless is key.

    WAIT! What does that say?? :shock: Summit leaked a story to the press?!?! One that altered the fans perception of the cast members? I just can’t imagine that EVER happening! :roll: Greedy bastards!

    I’ve had just about enough of their crap and will never support another movie produced through them. Poor SM. Wish she’d have known better! I sure hope they alter their books to expect most of their profit from the remaining Twilight movies to come from PPV and DVD sales! Bunch of vultures!

How do you even begin to do something like a web chain? We need the person that started the hoopla over Betty White getting her on SNL, we need that person’s help! LOL

    im not going against the cast if we were all true twilight fans we would not go against anyone but summit there the ones that are screwing up. kellan and ashley cant be replaced and i think that they should get paid. i mean look at how much money the movies so far have made

        Haven’t you noticed that they didn’t have any of these issues with the Harry Potter actors or the entertainment company that produced them.The actors where all happy with what they got paid, Daniel Radcliffe-$12 million a picture,Emma Watson and Rupert Guint-$8 million a picture.I would be happy with a 1/3 of what these actors and the twilight actors are getting paid.

    To Summit Management:

    I am a much older TwiFan (58) and I’m concerned with the news that we have 2 more actors that may be in jeopardy. Please step up to the plate and do not replace any more actors for the Twilight Series. It is not the same when you replace actors for something this BIG. The main characters all deserve the same salary. It takes them all to make the movies work and don’t forget this is what the paying fans want.

    We all know that this series has generated enough money to go around.

      Ashley-The only part that my dad has been to in Lousianna is New Orleans before the hurricane katrina happened.New Orleans deffinately doesn’t look like Vancouver or Washington at all.

    I feel like I’m already over this Twilight mess. Like @Katie said, the Harry Potter franchise didn’t have all of this going on…..Who’s dating whom, Money problems, Firing cast mates (Rachelle), Lead actors with bad attitudes (Kristen)…Oh I’ll tell you, this is a mess that this Summit has created, and I’ll be glad when it’s over…..Even Robert is looking old and worn out….Why not just give Ashley and Kellan the 2 or 3 million. Hell, the Twilight francise has made billions of dollars, literally.

    Ok these are two gud actors and if they want a lil bit more money give it to them.Quit making them look greedy their are people in that movie that does less that gets paid more and them actors cant be replaced theyre wat makes the cullens and without them it wont work…

    I agree that Kellan and Ashley need a raise they are really good and if they were to be replaced with someone else I would not have a reason to see the movies,But I dont agree about Kristen yes she isnt who I imagined playing Bella,but truth be told does everyone automatically picture an actor or actress in every book they read personally I cant picture any of the celebs out there to play the role of Bella or Edward I think considering who they have to chose from they did good and although i like whats her name who plays in gilmore girls I sure as hell cant picture her as Bella,plus Kristen in my opinion even though she comes off shy she fits the role because Bella in the book is shy. I do agree that Summit is being greedy and that Kellen and ashley both deserve more money.

    Ashley seems like a sweet girl, and does not seem greedy. I actually think she is a better actress than Kristen, plus I like her role better, she has a purpose, Alice can see the future. The only thing Bella does is be depressed everytime Edward is not there. I also think Ashley is hotter than Kristen. Team Ashley all the way. Her and her character are the main reason I like the movie series. I havent even read the books.

    I think Ashley and Kellan deserve a raise and to me their characters are very important to the series. No, maybe not as much as the leads but every role is intricate in its own way and to me alice is a very important role. I hate how studios sit there and bestow all the glory on one or two movie stars and leave the rest out to dry. I mean look at the wolf pak. Jacob may be the major figure of the group but sam and all the rest deserve just as much face time as he does. Same for the cullen’s there is more then just edward in that family.
