GARY COLEMAN DEAD AT 42 — REPORT

Posted by Adam

Gary ColemanGARY Coleman has died at the age of 42, according to RadarOnline.

Coleman had been hospitalized in Provo, Utah since Wednesday, May 26, after suffering what his family called “a serious medical problem.”

Coleman had slipped into a coma and was on life support after suffering an intracranial hemorrhage.

He was pulled of life support Friday morning and later passed away. His wife Shannon Price and her father were at the hospital Friday, Radar reports.

Coleman’s growth was hampered at a young age by a congenital kidney disease caused by focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, as he never grew beyond 4 feet, 8 inches tall. Twice having undergone kidney transplants in 1973 and 1984, Coleman required daily dialysis in his everyday life.

As a result of the kidney disease he suffered as a child, Coleman has been plagued with health problems in his adulthood. He has had at least two kidney transplants and has ongoing dialysis; this February, he had a seizure on the set of The Insider.

He had heart surgery — followed by a bout of pneumonia — last autumn.

UPDATE: The hospital has confirmed Coleman died as the result of injuries he suffered earlier this week. His wife made the decision to pull life support.

Finally he may have some peace. God will judge him now. RIP Gary. You made me laugh so many times on Different Strokes. The curse of Different Strokes continues. Todd Bridges will be next. He will die within 18 months from now. Drug related. I pray that I am wrong with my premonition.

Two weeks ago I was cleaning my room. I had a strange thought about Gary Coleman. There was NO reason I should have had a thought about him,but I thought of his name and then thought that he was going to die soon, but in a way that it was kind of forced in my thoughts. My husband was in the room with me,so I told him right away and just felt to tell him to take note of it if it came true. The other day when I found out he was in critical condition, I was freaked. Now this. Totally wierd.

    • Patsy Elfkin

Gina, same thing happened to me. I was vacuuming and the rug was filthy and in the dust i saw a little phrase spelled out and it spelled that gary coleman would be dead.

Some people just have no respect for people who were like him and they can’t help it that they are short. He didn’t want to be like that im sure but could he help it no he couldn’t. Just think about it if you were him would you want to be laughed at because u were short… probabally not. My family will miss u gary. you always made us laugh on different strokes.

    • Tracy Terry

yeah, me, too… i miss you Gary… well, not really

The Different Stokes curse sounds sort of like the Final Destination movies. Wonder if theres a connection?

    • Patsy Elfkin

You didn’t know? The entire Final Destination movie franchise is based on Different Strokes.

      • Tracy Terry

Some of you americans need to get a life. Some of the things you post are really dumb!

A man has died and most of you have stupid comments.
R.I.P Garry. Thanks for the years of laughter. You were a talented man.

    • Tracy Terry

well, our celebs are more interesting than Aussie’s

  • kerrigan

Tracy Terry! You need to get a life c&%(. If all you can post is nasty cruel stuff maybe you should consider a call to Dr. Kevorkian….. hint hint… How do you think Coleman’s family feels???? C&*^. Do you think they like to see your 1st grade intelligence at work? I hope you lose someone very close to you, very soon. I hope it hurts, I hope you suffer, I hope you will never be the same again. You are not a human just a zombie that doesn’t deserve to……

    • Paul Dibate

I think some people deal with the pain and suffering with laughter instead of crying. I have seen people with all different kinds of coping strategies but it doesn’t make them evil and you shouldn’t wish death and suffering on them because it makes you worse. You become worse than Terry Tracy because she is just doing it out of reacting to a painful situation but you are doing it with thought and malice. I deal with it sometimes by crying and other times by laughing. The whole concept of human beings having diseases and suffering and dieing is just too horrible to comprehend. I mean we are born to die and that is so offensive to me that this is our fate that sometimes I don’t know what to do.

I do know that I loved Gary Coleman and he had a wonderful sense of humor and I don’t think he would want us fighting about his death….I imagine that he would say don’t be sad, make jokes, don’t worry about it. It’s just life and death and you all will be here where I am someday. There is no escape.

      • Tracy Terry

hey, that was cool. thanx. you know, i think you’re right, too, because i never hated Gary. i sure feel pity for him and sorry for him. i saw Lisa Bloom stick it to him on youtube. she was totally uncool

    • Tracy Terry

i’m still in kindergarten, but thanx for the complient. and if any of the Coleman family are spending their time on showbizspy all day long like you and me, i’d say THEY need to get a life… and btw, you’re just filled with ‘love’, aren’t you?, cursing me with sufferage and all that. wow, thanx neighbor

    • Paul Dibate

I didn’t know he was a surfer…I can’t picture Gary surfing with all his health conditions..it must have been very dangerous for him to do it.

  • Tracy Terry
