Tom Cruise Wants David Beckham in The World Cup!

TOM Cruise is confident David Beckham will take part in the next World Cup — when the soccer hunk will be pushing 40!
Tom — who is close friends with the LA Galaxy star — said he was sorry 35-year-old Becks would miss this summer’s tournament because of an achilles tendon injury.
“I wish he was playing in the World Cup this year,” the Top Gun star told British newspaper The Sun. “But he will be back for the next one, you know.”
Cruise was then quizzed about the rumors he that he might be involved in making a film about Beckham.
“You know what, I didn’t hear that one,” he said.
Recent reports claimed Cruise has been giving Beckham tips on motivational speaking.
“For someone who has been in the public eye for so long, David is still not the most confident when it comes to speaking out. He’s very shy,” a source said last month.
“He has spoken to Tom among others about how best to motivate people.
“Tom is a confident guy and always gives him great advice and David wants to be able to do the same, whatever the circumstances.”
