DAVID Archuleta launched his new book, Chords of Strength: A Memoir of Soul, Song and the Power of Perseverance, at a BookEnds in Ridgewood on June 1, 2010.

The American Idol alum signed copies of the book and happily chatted with his fans, onlookers say.

“I’m hoping that people will find things in common with me,” Archuleta, 19, recently told Utah’s Deseret News of the biography.

“I know I haven’t lived for the longest time, but I have learned things.”

    I was there and i got there at 8 in the morning! The book signing was at 7pm lol. David was so sweet and promisted to sign everyones book who came out. He ended up staying there untill 10pm..he is so sweet and he let every fan ask a question and he would answer. It was a great day..and the book is very very good! Congrats David:)
