Jodie Foster: ‘Kristen Stewart Should Avoid Going Crazy’

Jodie FosterJODIE Foster has urged Kristen Stewart “not to go crazy”.

Foster — who starred alongside Stewart in the 2002 movie Panic Room — says the Twilight actress should avoid going off the rails if she wants a long and prosperous career in Hollywood.

“Just about how to not go crazy,” former child star Jodie told People magazine when asked if she has any words of wisdom for Kristen.

“And [how to] be a young actor who wants to have a long career.

“She doesn’t need any help. She’s on the right track. She’s a good girl.

“And I love that kid. I spent so much time with her.”

Kristen, 20, recently insisted the support of her family has stopped her going off the rails like Lindsay Lohan.

“My family are amazing,” she said. “I had, like, the perfect upbringing.

“It sucks for people like Lindsay Lohan, but it’s not her fault that she’s so off the rails — and she’s smart, very smart.”

    I think you girls and especially us rape survivors will be pleased. Now if only the mainstream media like MBC CBS ABC and all of the new papers, LA and NY Times etc that I contacted will do something MAYBE just maybe she will answer for her BS and learn to keep her fucking mouth shut for once in her life. i wasn’t going to let this go and I really hope the media doesn’t either. I’m not sure if you have seen but both on the semi pro Robsten site Popsugar (put up on 25th May 2010) & on the gossip site Clevver TV (again put up on the 25th May 2010) say that Nina Dobrev who portrays Elena Gilbert on the Alloy Entertainment production The Vampire Diaries is going to team up with Kellan Lutz who portrays Emmett Cullen in the Summit Entertainmemnt production the Twilight Saga as his wife in the upcoming movie Deathgames that is going to begin filming soon & I’m so looking forward to this one & I’m sure that Nina Dobrev is going to be in way more demand for many roles in the future than the crackwhore herself K-Stew as she is way more classy than her & dosn’t act up too & maybe Summit Entertainment should really consider replacing the crackwhore herself K-Stew with the classy Nina Dobrev to portray Isabella (Bella) Marie Swan soon to be Cullen for the upcoming Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn filming in November 2010 too.     TDG, you are not the first person that has suggested her as a replacement for Spew. I am wondering what the ooutcome will be but like I have said before, there is a lot of money at stake for Summit and unless there is some fine print clause in the contract that will allow them to fire her for her bad behavior (one can only hope) I can’t see them giving her the ax due to the financial situation. Summit is too cheap to have to buy oout her contract and then have to pay a new actress who undoubtably will want something close to what she did full well knowing they are saving Summits ass out of a sticky situation. Of course once again everythign i say is all just my opinion, I don’t claim t know jack shit. :)

        I say if Jodi Foster prefers the company of another woman,so be it.It doesn’t matter if she likes women or men.It doesn’t take away from her acting ability.I think Jodi Foster is one of the most talented actresses out their.ALot of the upcomming young actress should follow her and look up to her as a role model.She has handled everything so beautifully from dealing with the fans to her personal life.Hasn’t anyone noticed that if she is out with her kids and their is a photographer who wants to take her picture,she lets them.Certain other young actresses should follow her step.You don’t have to say who you are involved with but you should take the time and curtesy to pose for pictures and sign autographs for your fans.They are the ones who put you there and they can also take it away.

    You should also know, eagles, that it’s a very insulting and degrading word–like calling a male homosexual “faggot.” It’s not a word that a person with any conception of lesbians as human beings would use.

    I find that basic lack of consideration for others to be as rife on this board–supposedly anchored by God-fearing ladies–as anything on a rank fanboy site. And with an even more malicious edge to the discourse. Truly full of hate.

    For those of you who profess to be practicing Christians, you should PRACTICE a little harder by showing basic charity–”above all,” charity!–even toward those you dislike.

    Even if your faith is not Jesus-based, I think that, for all religiosly-minded people, the “Golden Rule” is the acid test. DO UNTO OTHERS AS YOU WOULD HAVE OTHERS DO UNTO YOU. Are you following that precept, ladies?

    Don’t, please, reply that you don’t have to do so if you’re convinced that the object of your scorn deserves it. That’s not so, and deep down you know it.

      Annie – I’ve posted somewhere on here yesterday. This vile little creature’s comments have hit major news organisations (Reuters being the main one). I wonder if this is why all of a sudden she is seen being ‘nice’. I would bet my life that it isn’t her choice.

    Jodie Foster was at the Oscars. She was giving Kristen a very animated talking to. Kristen later slipped up in an interview and said that Jodie told her she was going to find her …..and trailed off as Kristen realized that she could not say that Jodie said she would find her a nice girl.     It must be rough on Kristen to be confused about her sexuality. However, it does not excuse her bad mouth and unprofessional behavior. She may not want to be a role model but she knows the fans she had and the new Twi book fans are young and mostly romantic. The Twi books were MOSTLY supported by moral and nice teens NOT pot heads, emos and vampire freaks.

    Unemployment is 12% in California. If she was not employed in Hollywood, she would be flipping hamburgers with her high school GED. Kristen should pretend to have some manners and gratitude or face the millions of Twi Moms and their teens boycotting the movies.

    No director or producer will take a chance on her again as she only creates bad publicity. She stammers and itches her way through most interviews and insults the fans often. She refused to sign autographs in Australia and looked like a goth in her hoodie and sloppy clothes. Her career is over.

    As far as her dumb comment about paps taking her pic being like rape. She could have said it is invasive, upsetting, a civil violation of her rights, disturbing, like being punched…but to compare the minor issue of a flash bulb to the humiliation, violence and life altering event of rape to her photo being shot shows what a moron she is.

    Ask yourself why Taylor Swift and other stars don’t seem to have the troubles that Kristen does with the paps. She is seeking it out as she knows that she only has attention when it is negative. NOBODY would cross the street for her snotty attitude and haughty autograph unless she was with the cast or Rob. Kristen is a fool.

    Jodie is one of my favorite actress out there and yes she is a lesbian and came out long time ago but say that’s her busy.

    Kristen just apologized as reported for using the word rape in her description of the paparazzi. Right JustMe, she could have uses word like invasive but this just show that she is not emotionally smart. Jodie Foster seriously did gave her a talking too since she’s been a child star who haven’t let the fame get to her which is why she survived in the business for 36 years.

    Who ever said Kirsten’s career is over can say that again. I know people in mainstream media and haven’t even heard of reports on her in the press. No wonder she apologizes so fast to do damage control as her management know the money will dry up for her quickly. Time a changing and Hollywood including movie studios around the world know they don’t have to put up with any celebs who let the fame go to their heads quickly and become rude and make stupid ignorant comments.
