CHRISTINA HENDRICKS WAS ESQUIRE EDITOR’S SECOND CHOICE FOR SEXIEST WOMAN ISSUE — REPORT!

Christina HendricksCHRISTINA Hendricks wasn’t the first choice for the cover of Esquire magazine’s recent “Women” issue.

The Mad Man star was positioned by the mag as the “best looking woman in America”.

But according to Canada’s National Post newspaper, Esquire editor David Granger actually wanted Scarlett Johansson on the cover.

Speaking at the Mag-Net conference earlier this week, Granger reportedly said Scarlett was “supposed” to grace his front page.

“Scarlett completely screwed us,” he further added, cryptically.

In her interview with Esquire, Hendricks dared to tell the men of the world what she thinks about them.

“We love your body. If we’re in love with you, we love your body. Your potbelly, everything,” she said.

“Speaking of your body, you don’t understand the power of your own smell. Any woman who is currently with a man is with him partly because she loves the way he smells.

“We remember forever what you say about the bodies of other women. It’s not about whether or not we approve of the comment. It’s about learning what you think is sexy and how we might be able to convey it.

“The men who constantly stare at our breasts are never the men we’re attracted to.”

Hendricks has previously revealed she’s self-conscious about her voluptuous figure.

“Anytime someone talks about your figure constantly, you get nervous, you get really self-conscious,” she said earlier this year. “I was working my butt off on the show, and then all anyone was talking about was my body!

“It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth.”

    Christina Hendricks does not have breast implants, Jake. She is 100% the real McCoy. Besides, it’s not just her breasts that make her sexy, it’s the complete package; her hair, her eyes, her mouth, her total figure.

    For me, ScarJo would have been a good choice as well, but I’m glad for Christina. I have been a fan since day one of Mad Men.

    Jake, yhou are absolutely right to ask why a woman who “looks” like she’s had breast implants should be taken as the zenith of beauty and/or sexy. It doesn’t matter that they are “natural”; they are still “abnormally” large in their size, and therefore why would we take them as the ideal? If a man’s penis were inordinantly huge, it would be freakish, most women would not want to be with that – oh, they’d want to look at it (as something freakish), but that’s about it.

    Jake, you are absolutely right to ask why a woman who looks as if she’s had breast implants should be considered the zenith of sexiness. It doesn’t matter that they are “natural”; they are still inordinantly large. If a man has an abnormally large penis, it’s interesting to look at (for its abnormal/freakish quality), but most of us wouldn’t prefer to have sex with it. The attraction to the largeness of the breasts, and the curves speak to a certain fetish in our culture. I think she’s a beautiful woman and excellent actor. Is there ever an award that allows women to be “sexy” for brain and body power?

    More is NOT ALWAYS better. This woman has a GIANT set of boobs and a pretty face, but Scarlett Johansson is in a whole different stratosphere. This woman is a pretty circus act, but Scarlett is a goddess.

      I like Christina’s work on MM, but I can-not agree that she is the sexiest woman out there. Her ahem ‘curves’ are large to the point of being freakishly awkward; I can see why someone would comment (that) they ‘look’ fake – the appearance is oddly contained /restrained in the 2nd photo above.

      As far as ScarJo’s total package, she has that bit of rasp to her voice which, IMO, is much sexier to the ear than the girlish tones favored by Hendricks.

    They could be real…I don’t know. They seem awfully round at the top. I have real D’s…and even when I push them together they aren’t weird-looking like that.

    Though I’m glad they picked her. She’s like me.. tall, with a round butt to match the boobs, and a small waist. She’s what men lusted after in the late 50′s (Betty Page, MM), and she’s on the appropriate show for that reason too.

    They are real for sure. Go buy or rent the TV series Firefly. She guest starred in two episodes. back in 2002. You can see them back then. Or you can ask Nathan Fillion. He got a gander at them in one of those episodes.
