PAUL MCCARTNEY LEFT SHAKEN AFTER TOUR BUS ATTACK

ROCK legend Sir Paul McCartney has been left “shaken up” after a gang attacked his tour bus.

The 67-year-old star had to be rescued by police in Mexico after the youths surrounded his vehicle and jumped up and down on the roof after a concert at the Foro Sol stadium in Mexico City last Saturday.

“At first his security team thought it was just swarms of fans but when people started scaling the bus, the situation changed in a flash. Paul and the team were shaken up,” a source said.

According to reports, the troublemakers left the scene as soon as they heard police sirens.

The singer’s management team are now reviewing his security.

Paul recently admitted he is happy to carry the “weight” of fame.

“Fame can get pretty annoying but now I have rules, I’ve finally grown up and finally realized I’ve got rights,” he said. “I’m happy to talk to people on a one to one human basis but the minute they turn me into this celebrity that I’m pretending not to be for that minute, I sort of say no, I’m not going to do that.

“I will just go shopping or go to the movies on my own, and I like that. It is very much a balancing part of my life.”

This news does not report any source and is most likely false. From my seat at both concerts, anyone could see McCartney’s bus was protected by several policemen, patrols and bikes, besides his own personal security. Who would leave Paul McCartney wander around Mexico City (or any big city) at 1230 am without any security? It’s also impossible to think that the troublemakers “heard sirens and ran away”, patrols were close to McCartney’s bus at all times. Even Paul’s guitarrist Brian Ray reported on his twitter to have played to the best fans “ANYwhere”. Also guitarrist Rusty Anderson, who was on the bus with Macca, published on twitter on jun 5 ” mexican fans, thank you so much for your passion”. McCartney composed a song called “Shine a light in Mexico” specially for these 2 concerts and asked a mexican girl to dance “get back” on stage with him… probably fans were very excited and delayed McCartney’s bus departure but it’s very different to an “attack”.

I am just thankful Paul and his band mates were not hurt. Nowadays, there is really no safe place to play a concert. It’s either gang related or terrorist related. We cannot stop living because cowards such as gangs and terrorist don’t like our way of life. My mom and I are big beatles and Paul McCartney fans, and I have the upmost respect for him. People make mistakes in their lives and some people can put up good fronts to get ahold to a fortune. Heather and her child will be ok just as Anna Nichole Smiths child will be ok. I have loved Paul and the Beatles since I was 11 yrs. old. I am now 57 and I am very disappointed that Paul would bash one of our presidents. I didn’t vote for Obama, but would not appreciate a non-citizen critizing Obama at an inappropriate time and place (the White House). I have lost a lot of respect for Paul and I wish he would be classy enough to issue an apology for making the remark inappropriately.

The real story here is that he’s reported been distressed because of a possible attack on his life, and that should come as no surprise because his best friend and band mate John Lennon WAS murdered, and George Harris very nearly was stabbed to death in his own home.
There is some delicious irony in the image of fans covering his vehicle being a deadly threat to the now-pushing-70 Macca, a contrast to those images of the Beatles looking amused at the teenage girls covering their car at Kennedy Airport 45 years ago.
But as far as what he said about Bush, be an adult and respect that every body’s got an opinion.
