Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Lock Lips at MTV Movie Awards!

Robert Pattinson and Kristen StewartROBERT Pattinson and Kristen Stewart put on a little PDA at Sunday night’s MTV Movie Awards!

The Twilight costars — who are widely rumored to be dating — won best kiss at the award ceremony, so gave the audience what they wanted by smooching onstage.

Before the lip-lock, the duo kept goofing off — at one point, Pattinson, 24, pretended to trip over Stewart. Their antics sent the crowd wild!

Earlier in the night, Stewart won for best female performance for her role as Bella Swan in the Twilight series.

Pattinson also walked home with best male performance for his role as Edward Cullen. He even thanked Stewart and his parents “for conceiving me.”

As previously reported on Showbiz Spy, Rob has been trying to distance himself from Kristen because he’s worried their cozy relationship will affect his career — because she keeps making silly comments to the media.

“Rob is worried that being associated with Kristen will harm his career,” a source said. “He’s worked far too hard to get where he is to let it all come crashing down because of someone else’s actions.

“He’s distancing himself from Kristen more and more. He says, ‘If she wants to ruin things for herself, then let her! But she won’t be dragging me down with her!’”

    The DC Summit MTV Movie Awards

    Wow! The award show could not have been more contrived. Watching Summit do DC using Orbit gum as an endorser was painful? It could not have been less obvious everyone was told to use profanity excessively to show support for the recent bad press K has received for using such expletives.

    How desperate could Summit be to fix an entire show around doing DC for K? Forget about R/K it was beyond TITANIC sinking clear the PR for Robsten cannot be saved. Give it up Summit! Please let R/K out of this Robsten farce u created, it’s not working and it looks stupid! Let the movies speak for themselves.

        Oh! Bad is actually a compliment. The host at the end of the show said “know surprise TW won everything!” Also, he could not bring himself to mention B’s name when doing his skit. He mentioned E/J but know B, I wonder why?

        Another thing, the Robsten Summit created makes R/K look like prostitutes rather than actors. It looks really bad! Summit would have to get K under control before they could begin to market these films differently. However, Summit can’t control K and R is stuck being K’s cabana boy. It sucks!

      as usual, all she did the whole night was her eyeroll/bitchface routine…rob had the grace to thank kristen at the end for his speech, how did she thank him? with an eyeroll/headshake. really kristen? i watched that entire thing VERY carefully, fully expecting at least a couple “robsten” moments, i didn’t see a single one. “bubble” what joke…anyway off to school have a good days everyone!

        I’ve just seen the video clip of them all on stage together courtesy of the youtube footage of the ‘arm brush off’ and I thought there was more chemistry between RP and AK than KS/RP have ever shown in public.

        Very strange for a couple ‘so in love’

        No, I did not notice that. In fact she makes it a point to lean towards Rob some of the time and Jacob other times because she knows that even the way she leans will be misinterpreted by those seeing only what they choose to see. I saw her sitting next to Rob. I saw her laughing and having fun with him. I saw her reach for him when she tripped and I saw him laugh with her and steady her as they approached the stage. I saw several Robsten moments that made me happy. When I am praised for something my first reaction is also to roll my eyes and act like it was undeserved. She is shy. That is how she reacts to praise. What will this website do when it is finally made public that Rob and Kristen are a couple living in a extraordinary time for both of them. I wish them both the best of luck. Taylor is no more than a friend, perhaps little brother. He is so different from Kristen in both maturity level and life style that it is comical when people try to force something between them. It just isn’t there folks. Rob is her guy.

How ridiculous…the kiss between sandra bullock and scarlet johannson was hotter than that and they aren’t even dating.       Hey Heather I agree no Robsten moments at all anyone notice how Rob was in the chair with his feet on the seat and hands on his knees on plain site so all could see he was not touching her LMAO! He is like 6’3 and he had his feet on the seat!!! How comfortable was that!!!

      And Sandra and Scarlett’s kiss was way hotter than that and some of the TW cast agreed LOL>

        ITA Shadow but the shippers will look for anything. They are pretty much the only site saying it was cute and that they showed PDA. Other sites are calling it awkward and staged which it was. At the end he would not even look at her on stage he was chatting with Anna Kendrick. The whole show was a big PR for Eclipse. Shippers bought in but sane fans did not. If that is what they see as a lovable couple those ppl are seriously missing something in their love life for sure. There was no chemistry between them at all. And everytime the camera flashed on them they were never talking or looking at each other. But Ted but up his new Robsten site and according to his sources LMAO they were cuddly and she put her head on his shoulder and she touched his leg. I don’t know what fvcking show his sources attened but it was not MTV for sure. And the fact that they have to lie means Robsten is so PR it is not even funny.

    Good Morning all. There was no kiss. Even my husband who doesn’t even care was watching it with me, bc he is nice like that, said he didn’t kiss her. My hubby did ask what her problem was when she rolled her eyes when he thanked her. My hubby also stated that the whole evening was nothing but pr. He reminded me they are promoting a movie, Eclipse, that is why they were sitting together and he said Rob was all closed off not wanting to be there.

    I’ve looked at the video without sound it looked like they were closer when Rob had his back to the camera even if there was a kiss it was on the cheek, plus aren’t they suppose to kiss when getting this award???

    I also agree that Rob was just doing what Summit and his manager and agent, who both were there while no other manager or agent was around, told him to do to help the film and the bad pr that KS has created.

I really feel eclipse will not do as well as new moon; they have no credibility anymore. How many here are going to que all night to watch eclipse? The films have lost their momentum .         Ok so I will admit I have my tickets to see Eclipse at the midnight viewing…and I also have tickets to see Twilight and New Moon right before that. I love these movies and I feel like I should still support the rest of the cast even though Summit could really care less about them and just enjoy shoving Robsten down our throats.

      He did not thank her exactly. He said she was the lynch pin the hub of the series. He acknowledged that she was a crucial component. Perhaps he was trying to indicate that she may be an a hole but she is important.

      There’s no reason they have to recreate a screen kiss. This is such drama for speculation. They are a movie couple. Their characters were awarded NOT them. For her to make such a bit deal and behave like it is disgusting to kiss the Patts indicates that she can’t stand kissing him specifically or kissing men in general and wants to make him look like a wimp groveling for a kiss.

      I really wish she’d get fired. She’s boring, bratty and boyish. She looked like a flat chested, sexless boy with a fake fall hanging off her head. Yuck.

    Okay, I am going to make my first comment here because this was over the top ridiculous. I have tried to like Kristen, but I am sick of her shy ‘act’. She looks uncomfortable in her own skin no matter WHAT she is doing. This should not be the case with the publicity she has received for a couple of years now. Also, just kiss him. I mean seriously, why not do it? Got to your happy Bella place, kiss him and move on. Rob is such a good sport and laughed it off- again.       MTV: Love plays such a major role in these films, and so many fans want what happens onscreen to happen in real life. How do you separate what happens in movies from real life with women you’re casted opposite?

      Pattinson: You’ve always got to remember that you’re being paid and that there’s a lot of connotations that come with that. I think that’s one of the major separations. Yeah, I think so.

      Not to mention that he does not want to be a show pony. They got the best kiss which consisted of a frozen lipped Kristen and a jaw gyrating Rob outside her house. The kiss in the clock tower was lacking in any passion or joy. These two are so sick of each other. He does know that he has to stay on friendly terms with her just like Taylor knows it. They are buddies and coworkers. They also get a piece of the box this time so they’d better smile sweetly and play nice if they want a big pay day.

    They didn’t lock lips though. It was a fake-out. Just like everything with them! It was as fake as Kristen’s pony tail! MTV got paid off by Summit. Even the host knew what was up! Can they not just get it together? It was really bad. Really fake. And made anyone having anything to do with Twilight look like a fool. And what did Peter say about SM when on stage? Something about her faith I think but couldn’t remember. A lot of people are upset about the lack of control and the use of curse words. They didn’t do a very good job at beeping out the words either. It was like watching a really awful redneck talk show. =/

This show was so gross and over the top with nasty talk, sexual connotations and bad behavior. There were kids in the audience and watching. Just like the ski with kid stunt people. Do these dregs of society actually think it’s cool to be low classed? Peter Facinelli has little kids and is a professed Catholic. Where doe she get off making a slur towards Meyer when if not for her inspiration to write the book, he would not be rich and famous. They are over the top morons. Except for Rob and Taylor.

        If this was their way of mocking the outcry over Kristen’s bad behavior and mouth it is going to backfire. Does Summit really think their movies will do well with only weed heads and unemployed drop outs supporting them. They just blew it by trying to be so controversial. The average, decent, normal, nice teen fans of the books were shocked. I was and I have seen and heard it all.

    hey and can i just ask what people think of that new eclipse clip that was shown last nite? as someone who loves the books- i think it really is awful…. that is NOT how that scene should go at all… i think they are butchering the book (which is my fave out of the lot) and the screenwriter needs fired… its like when edward grabs jacob after he kisses bella– that doesnt happen in the book either- why oh why can they not just stick close to the book? its ridiculous- if i was stephanie meyes i would be so pissed off lol!!!

      I wonder if SM sold the rights of the books to Summit. If she did that, then i think Summit can do pretty much what they want with the script as long as they keep along the same story line.

      Its similar to what happen to The Time Traveler’s Wife. The author sold the rights to the book to the production company. The company butchered the book and the author has no say.

      I hope SM can sue them or at least try to salvage BD.

    also i want to complain that as i live in the UK i did not see the award show and have managed to see v little of robert/twilight clips etc- cos youtube have removed them and when i click on the mtv ones on fansites- im not allowed to view it cos im not in the US!!! wth!!!

    and the two or three v bad quality clips i have seen- they are dubbed over with spanish!!!! sorry just had to get that off my chest!!! rant over!! :D if anyone has a link to decent quality clips i can view i would be v grateful- thanks!!! :)

    Who dressed Rob? He looked so hot last year and this year like Elmer Fudd. He did look like he wanted to be done with this whole mess. All he wants to do is act and not be broke like he was before Twilight. He said that he was not good at anything until he got into the Barnes Theatre group (theatre troop that helped raise money for poor kids in UK). He got a shot because he looked older and was tall. He said if it had not been the break on Vanity Fair and HP, he would be selling shoes in a shop so he appreciates his good luck. It is not just luck. He is talented and a nice guy.

    Here are the million dollar questions. Where was Nikki Reed, Dakota Fanning and Camilla Belle? The first two are Kristen’s BFF and the last one is Rob’s secret girlfriend.

I thought he was still friends with Camilla and she was showing off her ring finger to Angie Harmon at a pre Oscar fashion thing in March after going to Europe on Valentine’s Day. Then she gave an interview saying that she is no longer in touch with Jonas and looked like a beaming girl in love. She confirmed that she met Rob in NYC while he was filming Remember Me. They have a large group of shared friends she said but she is the only girl that Rob defended when she was called a home wrecker. In GQ, he said she is a saint. That is code for “I’d be one lucky wanker to date her”. She was just friends with his friend. She is a nice girl and keeps a low profile.

        Rob said at start of New Moon that he does sneak around and is put in compartments so he is not seen LITERALLY. He just was in NYC where she was at Leighton Meester’s apartment too. I think he was not serious over her when he started Twilight. He was seen with Camilla in June of 2008 (the one where she is opening a gift). Then he did the Twi movie and had Kristen throwing herself at him and Hardwicke’s sexy scenes she made them do. He said it took him 2 months to get out of the spell and calling Kristen his fiancee.

      Actually Zac is a nice guy for sticking with Vanessa and not being a man whore when I’m sure he gets plenty of offers. I think they are young but a good example of a committed relationship. Even if they did have their pics shot at a sex gadget X rated shop, they are still sweet.

      He has been a gentleman and has said things that could be misinterpreted. I really think it is hard for him to get the right balance with her. What is he supposed to say…she is beautiful but I don’t want to date her. The next question would be why not. He likes her but is not in love with her for the very reasons we cited here. He tries to be funny and said “Kristen’s pregnant” on Oprah. If he was with her, he would say we are friends or we keep it professional. Why make a joke?       If Rob was like most guys he would have gotten his experience on a more than willing and wild child experimenter Kristen. He is friends with her, old fashioned, romantic, hung up, Catholic and has morals. He did not want to use her to get off on. So the relationship stays a brother/sister/buddies one. Kristen resents that he had the principles to resist her and that she broke off with Michael for no good reason.

      Again, Kristen was not at Rob’s birthday party on set in Italy. No cast members went near her at New Moon LA premier or at the after party. She had gay Joan and Lindsey’s lover there at the after party. She has worked with gay Rosie, gay Mary Stuart Masterson, gay Jodie and gay Joan. There is a pattern here.

      Many of us believe that Rob caught her with Dakota in Italy and will never forgive her for her treachery. That is why she looked so horrible when Eclipse started and her eyes were so sad around him. She blew it and got caught. The cast stays clear of her and said shew as scary. Rachelle tried to warn him. She was close to Rob and has been around the block a few times. Rob said Kristen had an anger and was intimidating and shocking. He should have stayed away from this very devious fake girl.

Watch the replays when they flash to K/R after the clip with the guy from the Hangover. Rob looks absolutely miserable!     First post ever – these two are so not together. Guys do not behave this way. I saw the inbedded clip when Peter is accepting the award for the group and Rob’s jerk reaction to her touch was so telling – that is not typical male behavior – even if they tell you one thing – their behavior tells it all. He is doing this for his career, and whatever his people are telling him – most likely to *make nice*. I’m grown (43y) haven’t you ever worked with someone who you had to find a way to get along while at work? There is always someone, always who makes things difficult it’s not isolated to the movie business people. The photogs need to just leave her alone and not egg her on. She will either grow up and learn some class and how to act on screen and off, or she will fade into the woodwork because she won’t be insurable.
    There is nothing nice going on about this in the media.

He’s clapping and even yells WHOO! His whole attitude and body language changes after he returns from getting his award for Best Male Performance.     I’ve just seen the part of the MTV movie awards which honours Sandra Bullock.

    Does anyone else think that her acceptance speech was a dig (including the kiss with Scarlett, the shrug after sort of made me think she was saying, it’s a kiss it’s not that hard) at KS, the comments about the paps, intrusion, and the fact she mentioned those fighting for their countries in the gulf. I know that is probably because of her film role, but it had undertones of, there are more serious things in the world than celebrity given the speech beforehand.

    Just a thought.

    Well, over half of you are obviously Kristen haters, and your jelousy and hate of her for having any type of relationship with Rob is on over load right now, but…..SHE WON, THEY WON, THE PUBLIC LOVES HER/THEM. This is the best and seeing how you all are trying to dismiss any/all of it is classic. But, you can not over shadow the facts, she had a great night, she won, and she was with Rob.     I am not celebrating. Actually, I only sign on once in a while to be nosey. I have to much going on to really care either way. I enjoy the movies, a lot of movies. I just knew that after watching the awards last night that this sight would be on fire. It is fun and sad at the same time to see the hateful jealous people on this sight try to dismiss what they hated to watch at the awards. She has more supporters than haters and it is tearing them up. So sad, so so so, sad. But funny!!

      Ummmm no I have to disagree the only site singing her praise today is Eonline and that does not count because he is so far up Summits ass it is not funny. Most think se is a lesbian (nothing wrong with that) most thought the kiss was awkward including her fansite Kstew411, and most sited said it screamed PR.       No, I do not think New Moon should have won, I actually feel like New Moon has had its time and is old news. Actually, if anyone at my work commented on the awards, I was the one who said they should have called it “the plug for Twilight”. Did Kristen deserve to win? Sure, she did and does a good job with Bella. So yes she did deserve to win. Actually, I just read that she has also won “LOVEFiLMS top actress list under 30″ So she is a good actress and all the hate on this board is nothing but jealous sad people who need to move on and do something more productive in this world than type rude/hateful articles and comments about one girl.

        Ummm New Moon never had it’s time it was so greatly talked up that it did very well the first weekend only. When ppl realized it was aweful it ws forgotten except by the 14-16 year old range. No sorry KS is not good with Bella and a lot of ppl agree for goodness sakes there was a petition to take her off the fims. What other actress got that. And Eclipse will follow suit. It might be a little better because of the action but dn’t have high hopes.

        Thanks to the RObsten showmance and all the paps trying to catch Rob drunk or getting a lap dance somewhere, they have taken all the joy that I had once felt for the books and first movie away. I thought it was such a different story and that Rob really brought the character to life. He was so much more interesting and cool when he was thought to be a loner type who just had a crush on a girl who had a boyfriend. All the hype and Kristen’s comments and behavior have sullied up everything.

      The boards are all over the fact that Kristen took a date – who was NOT Rob.

      Go back and watch the award shows again, look at the people sitting together who are in an actual relationship. See how they interact and then go back and watch all the times the camera showed ‘Robsten’. The first thing I noticed was that there was no seating changes between them, but between RP/KS, everytime they seemed to be sitting in different places. Sometimes together, sometimes they had someone between them.

      The ‘kiss’ was one of the worst things I’ve ever seen. So what if they are together and want to keep it private. They are ACTORS, why with all the teasing, lip-lock and do it well. Instead of making the kiss look ‘funny’ which I’m sure was their intention. They actually made themselves (and yes I include Rob in this) look like idiots. Not to mention the fact that whereas last year, RP looked genuinely like he was hurt for the ‘non-kiss’ (called acting as they plan these things beforehand before anyone jumps and thinks that’s an admission), this year he looked like he was being asked to give mouth to mouth to his dead goldfish.

      When Kristen won her award, Rob looked gracious, clapped and did seem genuinely happy for her.

      What did he get in return? An eye roll, a grimace, a stiffened look. When the next shot of them was shown he was curled away from her and both of them looked miserable.

      Then the best evidence of a couple so in love and dating. When the whole cast got up together and went on stage, and they lined up, Rob looked like he wanted to move away from her. Later she runs her hand down his arm. He immediately rolls DOWN his sleeve, and FOLDS his arms. Now that on it’s own could be a reaction, maybe he thought there was a fly or something in the studio. But take into account that he then took a step away to the side and started to talk to Anna, watch it closely and when they stop talking he carries on shuffling in HER direction, away from KS.

      So carry on believe your fairytale. Body language screams a different picture.

    If you watch the whole “kiss” over again, Rob didn’t actually kiss her at any point during the acceptance, even when he turned his back to the audience. Watch it again closely.

    I thought the overall show was dismal!! Was it really necessary to drop the F-bomb all night long?? I couldn’t watch and enjoy because I kept hearing a beeping sound through most of the show!! It seems like such a hodge podge of nothing!! I felt sorry for Tom Felton…..His acceptance speech was “interupted” by a bunch of stuff that was supposed to be “funny”……I’d say overall….it was a bomb!

    At the end of the day, these awards mean nothing to either the actors or the people who see them for what they really are, an opportunity to promote themselves and their films.

    As they are voted for by the public, a public that is allowed to vote more than once, the actual award is meaningless.

    There was even a campaign by the ‘Robstens’ to multi-vote as a way of ‘forcing’ the acceptance kiss which is done by everyone who has ever won the award. Part of me feels that this is the reason why KS and RP have, for two years running now, either not kissed at all, or done something with it which makes them look cringe-worthy. Maybe Robstens this is a subtle hint to YOU to leave them alone and stop pushing the FANTASY onto them. If they kiss you’ll all immediately assume this is the ‘proof’ you’ve been waiting for that they are together. It would be totally forgotten that at the very same awards show Sandra Bullock and Scarlett Johanneson lip-locked, and might I add a kiss that was pretty hot, and no, I’m not Bi or a lesbian, I’m just referring to the fact it would have been believable had it not occured in that particular setting. And yet, there are no rumours that they are a couple in love as a result of it.
    Another example is the kiss between Russell Brand and that other guy (sorry don’t remember his name), are there rumours about them today?

    The main point is they are actors, why can’t they ACT a kiss. Why did they insist on making themselves look, for want of a better word, pathetic, in the skit they did?

    This awards show wasn’t some private thing, they knew they’d most likely win the award for the reasons mentioned above, and they knew that the expectation is to show why the award was won in the first place. I’m sorry but they BOTH came across as unworthy of their ‘best actor’ accolades last night.

    The sooner they do something to rectify it, the better for their careers. The Twi-nagers won’t be able to support their careers forever, one day they’ll grow up, get their own lives and realise, how these publicity stunts work.
    But if they (KS and RP) want reputations of being serious actors within the industry, they are going the very wrong way about it.

    I don’t think Rob knew she was going to behave like that. She blathered something to him and he could be heard saying “Oh, now?” He went along until it was clear she was making it seem like a chore to kiss him. That is why his face was so strange. Then he kissed her cheek as the shot from behind indicated. Kristen was sitting with some sloppy guy between her and Taylor. Rob and Kristen barely glanced at each other.

    I think the show was not funny and extremely low classed. To have Peter Facinelli curse so much and make a crack about Meyer’s Mormon religion as if only Mormons try to be mannerly, well-spoken, not cuss etc. was really insulting. I’m sure he will let his 3 kids watch him needless dropping f bombs and the part where Christina A. gets licked in her crotch during the group dance scene.     Rob and Taylor don’t fit into that crowd.

      Rob tried his best to show a good front, but KS didn’t do her job at all.

      They also knew who won the night before when you listen to Rob talk about preparing for the Best Kiss award. He says that the night before they were talking about it.

        Kim, where did he discuss preparing and that they talked about the awards the night before? I missed that. Clearly, their awkward thing was rehearsed (quite convincing) but I think he surprised her with the grabbing her and kissing her cheek. He looked quite embarrassed and held the award behind his head like he felt really proud of his boldness- awkward but pleased with himself. Never have two stars received so much attention for doing virtually nothing together. It’s getting old.

    I thought it was inexcusable when Rob got so run down looking in fall of 2008 and his handlers and Summit did not spruce him up. I think it is just as bad that he had on a baggy t shirt, baggy pants and a jacket off Farmer John. He needs to get a stylist as badly as Kristen needs a muzzle.

    I am a twilight (book) fan. I, too, like some other else are disappointed with how they put the book in the movie. It didn’t do any justice to the book, really. But how can I hate the actors who only played for roles? Much so, how can I hate them for just being themselves? If Rob doesn’t like Kristen, so what? If they’re together, so what? If summit is using Robsten to sell its movie, so what? Does it affect your life or hurt you in any ways? If you don’t want to go and see the movie because you don’t like it, then do so. But saying nasty things and being bad about people you don’t know is really scary!

    Some people here sounded like they’re being forced to like Twilight and so they rebel against it. If some of you are unhappy of the MTV movie award result, I am unhappy too but I don’t agree with how you attack the winners. Too bad, twilight fans are so devoted than the rest of us. Let’s just accept that and move on.
