KATE GOSSELIN INSISTS SHE’S IN NO RUSH TO GET BACK ON THE DATING SCENE

The reality TV star — who got divorced last year after ten years of marriage — says she’s happy being single, even though her eight kids keep asking her when she plans to get a new boyfriend.

“I don’t feel like it’s time. I feel like my kids need so much of me, that I need to be there with them,” she said.

“Personally I don’t feel ready to move forward.

“Whenever I meet a young girl now, my challenge to them is to be really sure. I got married very young, and I just want to be that person in their ear saying, ‘Be really, really, really sure.

“What’s the rush to be married young? That would be my advice to my daughters.

“I’m already telling them, ‘30 and beyond’.”

Kate says her kids wonder when and if Mommy will start dating and maybe get married again.

“They bring it up. They wonder, am I going to get married again and all those things. And I’m open and I talk to them about it,” she said.

Reports at the weekend claimed Kate has ordered ex-husband Jon Gosselin to get off his lazy ass and get a job so he can provide for his family.

“Kate is working her fingers to the bone to support her large family and wishes Jon would do the same,” a source told the PopEater website.

“After the split, Jon thought he would become a bigger star without Kate. He hooked up with Michael Lohan to develop a new reality show, First Dads Club, but that didn’t work out.

“Then Jon thought he would become the next high-end designer when he hooked up with Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier, but that fell apart too.”

    Why all the hateful snarky comments? The lady was married ten years…she realizes she married too young. She is just giving some good motherly advice that any young woman can follow. And instead of chasing everything in pants and seeking out her own pleasure she is instead avoiding the dating scene for a while for the sake of her children. I think that is noble…not something to rant on her about. This stupid internet hate needs to stop!

      I am a single mom to 1 kid.
      Kate is a single mom to 8 kids. Is she PERFECT?? NO. She is human, providing the best way that she knows how. So going on Dancing with the Stars or writing a book and then having to go promote them making her gone from her children…doesn’t make her a bad mother. It makes her a good 1. She is PROVIDING and my question is WHERE IS JON?? I thought that he was suppose to be doing BIG THINGS–

    I dont understand why every one thinks Kate is so much of a star and pretty. Guess what every one , KATE STINKS, she is using her kids to try to make herself important and a star. She turns my stomach. She is nothing but a loud mouth, non dancing idiot. And she made a fool out of herelf on dwts. She is so pathetic. What do we do to get her off tv and every thing fo good? I will try any thing to get rid of her. SHE IS SO PATHETIC…

    maybe she’s NOT as dumb as she looks. maybe she knows there’s NO guy out there looking for a haggy 35 yr old with 8 (count em, 8)kids. And her kids probably hope she gets a boyfriend because they always bond with ANY MALES that come into the house. Being stuck with her all the time, they are starving for attention and affection and will take it anywhere they can find it. Scarey thought!!!!!!!! creepy too.

    I think people are way too hard on Kate. I believe she does her best at being a good Mother. It would be hard being a single Mother of 8 children. I believe everything she does, is for her children. I wish her and her family the best.

    anything she has going looks wise is ‘manufactured’ and anyone could have that look. All of the kids were not thrilled to see the crew back, take a look at Mady’s face and Cara does not like being filmed, as well as a few of the tups have covered their faces when cameras were there. the 3.4 million viewers is not as good as the # of the first show of season 5 and altho it is double the last show, it is people turning in to see what it was going to be and .4 million turned it off before HER OWN segment. Viewership will go down each week, she has nothing to offer and just reaffirmed that Sunday night. People are sick of seeing greed rewarded with more stuff. It’s hard to watch someone undeserving rake in things we’d like to be able to give our kids but with this economy ‘extras’ aren’t possible.

    Jon made some mistakes but don’t forget Kate admitted in interviews she was horrible to him! It was all there for anyone to see on the last reality show they done together. Right now she was moaning how hard it was raising the children when nothing was stopping her from letting Jon have them when she’s working. Next she wanted him to find a job which he’s already been doing so she can’t have it BOTH way. He either be a full time father and not work or get a job and be a part time father. Than she got to pay all these people securities, nannies, chefs and trainers and complained how tough it is bringing up the kids alone! I’m thinking she got nerves to whine like that when there are MANY single mothers with 1, 2, 4 or even 10 children struggling on their own with no family supports and doing two jobs or one while going to college? These single mothers don’t have the cash for securities, nannies, chef let alone a personal trainers so sorry but Kate DO NOT REPRESENT for those single mother. I’m the product of a single mother who did two jobs and went to school with no supports from family and father included and we all turn out well because she sacrificed for us without WHINING EVER. Children don’t ask to be born so when people have them whether planned or not and keep them, they’re suppose to raise the child/children and shut up!
