Katherine Heigl: ‘Killers Was Painstaking’

KATHERINE Heigl was left battered and bruised filming her new movie Killers.
The former Grey’s Anatomy actress admits shooting the action flick — which also stars Ashton Kutcher – was painstaking.
“It’s really fun but it’s little bits at a time, so it’s a little bit painstaking for me. I like those dialogue scenes where you’re sort of bantering,” she said.
“One of my favorite scenes of the movie was the pregnancy test scene because that was just sort of Ashton and I improv-ing. I thought that we were really good at bickering together!
“The action side of it that requires everything being re-set and put in its place … so it can take a day or two to do one tiny little thing.”
But Killers was good practice for thriller One For The Money, which Katherine starts filming in September.
“One For The Money isn’t so much action,” she said. “There’s a little bit. It’s sort of like this — there’s a little bit of everything going on. The twist on that one is that it’s a little bit of a mystery, a bit of a murder mystery, this one the twist is the action.
“I don’t want to confuse people. There’s a lot of comedy and a lot of romance – that’s what I love to do, that’s what I love to go see, so that’s what I keep doing.”
