Michael Jackson Fans Allowed to Visit His Burial Site

Michael JacksonMICHAEL Jackson’s fans are to be allowed into his burial site to pay tribute to him on the anniversary of his death.

Plans are expected to be finalized this week to allow admirers of the Thriller star — who died of acute Propofol intoxication on June 25 2009 — into Forest Lawn Memorial Park, in Glendale, Los Angeles, following pleas from the late singer’s family.

“We understand that Forest Lawn is working with the Jackson family for some kind of commemoration,” said Glendale Police Sergeant Tom Lorenz.

“We will be working closely with Forest Lawn to ensure the safety of those who want to pay their respects to Michael Jackson while ensuring the safety of others who are coming to the cemetery to pay respects to their loved ones.”

However, fans will not be given access to the Great Mausoleum, where the singer was interred last September and is also the final resting place of other showbiz legends including Clark Gable and Jean Harlow.

“Basically, they will be viewing it from a distance,” said the sergeant.

Michael’s brother Randy revealed last month he was hoping fans would be allowed to pay their respects at the cemetery.

“I’m meeting with Forest Lawn and the City of Glendale,” he wrote on his Twitter page. “Although they have strict rules, I’ll do my best 2 see if fans can visit and pay their respects beyond the gates of Forest Lawn, on the 25th. I will inform you all soon. (sic)”

The area where Michael is buried is normally off limits to non-family members and Randy’s intentions have infuriated the families of other people laid to rest there.

Clark Gable III – the grandson of the legendary actor — said the mausoleum “wouldn’t be as sacred” if just anyone could go inside.

        Susie, try not to let what Tracy thinks upset you. We must remember that evil words and deeds are the works of Satan and his agents. Michael was about love and never had a unkind word 2 say about anyone. That woman has (as far as we know) never gave over $400,000,000.00 to charity.I don’t believe she has made people from all over the world feel joy in their hearts when they came to see her do her job(Occupation). I doubt she has never been accused falsely of something.Or someone still believe she did it because it was said.

    Great News! I don’t know who is responsible for this. I just went to Find A Grave. Someone who has access to Michael Jackson’s resting place has submitted photographs.

    I saw the gravesite and it was not exactly what I had in mind. I thought he would be placed in one of those wall crypts with his name and some dates on it. He is placed in a beige marble like crypt that is very large and out on the floor at the end of the hall, right beside a stained glass window. If his name and dates are there, you can’t see them in the picture. There is something that looks like an opened marble book with a prayer. You have to see it for yourself.     When I heard that the general public could not see the grave, I was hoping that somebody would get the photos for us, or I would have to look at sites like George Burns in order satisfy myself with an idea.
