Shakira Not Quite Ready to Pose Naked

ShakiraSHAKIRA won’t pose naked — for now.

The sexy singer — who appeared in a skin-tight body and danced in a cage in her She-Wolf video — is too shy to bare all for a photo shoot but admits she may change her mind one day.

“I don’t want to and I don’t have to,” said the 33-year-old. “I couldn’t strip naked. Maybe when I’m 40 I will change my mind.

“Around 10 years ago I couldn’t imagine putting on a skin-tight body suit and high heels and dancing in a golden cage, hanging upside down from the bars. Today I’m saying I’ll never show myself naked. Our opinions change all the time.”

Shakira — who is in a long-term relationship with Antonio De La Rua — thinks her reluctance to strip off is grounded in her Catholic upbringing in Columbia.

“I was brought up in a very Catholic environment,” she said. “My father has Lebanese roots. I grew up on the North coast of Columbia where life is quite traditional. There are things I’m not courageous enough to do.”
