BRADLEY Cooper was left “shocked” when he first started to read about himself in celebrity magazines.

The All About Steve actor — who is currently dating actress Renee Zellweger — told People magazine that he finds it difficult to see “untrue” stories about his personal life.

“At first it was shocking how untrue everything was. Dates with women I’ve never had, houses I’ve never owned in areas I could never afford,” he said.

“I was one of those people who believed what they read [in supermarket tabloids]. Except for the aliens and stuff.”

Cooper recently denied rumors he dated Jennifer Aniston.

“I’m reading about me taking Jennifer Aniston to my Bel Air mansion and having a candlelit dinner, and I was like, ‘That’s crazy. Never happened,’” he said earlier this month.
