MEGAN Fox is engaged again!
The actress, 24, is set to tie the knot after on-again beau Brian Austin Green popped the question on June 1.
“I saw her jumping up and down,” a witness tells Us Weekly magazine of the beachside proposal at the Four Seasons Hualalai hotel on the Big Island in Hawaii.
But in all the excitement, Fox managed to lose her 2-carat sparkler, which she and Brian picked out together from Excalibur jewelry store in Beverly Hills
“Later, I saw a half dozen staff sifting through the sand,” said the insider.
“Security and maintenance staff spent a couple of hours looking for the ring. No one found it.”
Green, 36, and Fox began dating in 2004 but called off their previous two-year engagement in February 2009.
Fox’s rep has just confirmed the engagement.
“Yes, she is engaged,” said the spokesperson.
Megan recently revealed she sees herself marrying Brian.
“I’ve been in this relationship for so long and I love Brian so much and of course marriage is in the future somewhere… I’m not closed to that idea,” she said.
The 24-year-old beauty doesn’t mind speaking about her romantic feelings for Brian, 36, because she believes it’s important to tell the world when you decide to commit to one person.
“I just think, if you’re going to get married, if you’re going to be with someone and make a commitment, it’s good to tell the universe, to say, ‘I’m committing to this person and making them my family’,” she said.
“I think there’s something respectable about that and if we were to do it, it would be for ourselves. It wouldn’t’ be for society.”
