KATE GOSSELIN DESPERATE TO FIND HERSELF ANOTHER MAN; PLANS TO START HER OWN ABC DATING SHOW?

REALITY TV mom Kate Gosselin is ready for romance!

The star — who split from husband Jon, the father of her eight kids, almost a year ago — is keen to get back on the dating scene, and is changing her controlling ways in a bid to focus on her love life, according to a new report in America’s OK! magazine.

“Kate knows she can be a little controlling at times, and she’s working on that aspect of her character,” a source said.

And according to Life & Style magazine, Kate might be taking her dating efforts to the small screen!

“Kate’s working on a deal to do a new reality dating series on ABC,” an insider said. “She’d most likely be starring in her own series, possibly matching her with single dads. But the insider says Kate could even wind up as the next Bachelorette!

“Kate would love to have someone in her life. She really misses the companionship. She wishes she had a man around to help her out.”

Gosselin recently told her ex to get a job so he can start supporting his family financially.

“Kate is working her fingers to the bone to support her large family and wishes Jon would do the same,” a source told the PopEater website.

“After the split, Jon thought he would become a bigger star without Kate. He hooked up with Michael Lohan to develop a new reality show, First Dads Club, but that didn’t work out.

“Then Jon thought he would become the next high-end designer when he hooked up with Ed Hardy designer Christian Audigier, but that fell apart too.”

I would love to see Kate find a man who would love her and behave well toward her and her kids. I used to constantly disrespect my husband, and when he finally stopped cowering to me, God helped me to change. Kate can be more respectful in the future, too. It’s too bad Jon abandoned the family instead of just standing up to Kate and asking God for help. I would like to see a Bachelorette Plus Kids format where, if Kate gives the guy a rose, he gets a group date with his kids and her kids (no other men on the group date). To the kids, it could be just a fun activity with another family. The place the men and their children stay could be near Kate’s house so Kate will mostly be home with her kids the entire time. I would rather see each man in a separate apartment, attempting to function with his own kids, than to see all the men living together as a group. I’m interested in how the guy relates to his kids when Kate isn’t around, and hear what Kate’s kids have to say about the men and their families. It would be ok to have guys without kids, who want to help raise Kate’s kids, too, if Kate would like that. The Bachelorette plus kids should not be cast for drama, but rather for compatibility.

Just another thought, their should be fun activities for the men and their kids each day, whether they are seeing Kate that day or not, and that is when the man with his kids should be filmed. No one of the kids (the men’s or Kate’s should be there when Kate is giving out roses). The men’s kids should be having a fun vacation type experience and it should be presented to them that they are seeing if they like Kate and her kids.
