Amanda BynesAMANDA Bynes has retired from acting — at the age of 24!

“Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem,” she wrote on her Twitter page Saturday.

“If I don’t love something anymore, I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore, so I’ve stopped doing it.”

“I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I’ve #retired,” she added.

“I’ve never written the movies & tv shows I’ve been a part of. I’ve only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play.”

Bynes — who rose to fame on Nickelodeon’s All That and her own comedy series, The Amanda Show — hasn’t starred in a movie since 2007′s Hairspray.

Amanda recently split from her boyfriend, which she also announced on Twitter.

    The only thing pathetic around here is the retard who wrote this headline. What, she’s not allowed to quit acting if she wants? It’s her life! Good for her for quitting something she doesn’t enjoy doing. People quit careers and move on to other things all the time.
