MARIAH CAREY TELLS HER INTERIOR DESIGNER TO BID ON MICHAEL JACKSON’S OLD FURNITURE!

POP diva Mariah Carey wants to get her hands on Michael Jackson‘s living room set.
The Touch My Body hitmaker has reportedly ordered Kenneth Bordewick, her interior designer, to bid on an ornate living room set owned by Michael at Julien’s Auctions, which will be held tomorrow in Vegas.
Michael bought the furniture to fill the London mansion he was supposed to live in during the run of his ill-fated This Is It tour.
Jackson paid $200k for the set, which is expected to fetch at least $1m at auction.
The open bid is $150,000. The proceeds — minus commissions — will go to Jackson’s estate, TMZ reports.
“Mariah is very interested in the sofa set, which is expected to fetch $150,000, but I think it’s more likely to go under the hammer for $1 million,” Bordewick said.
“It was to be used onstage for Michael’s This Is It shows – it was crafted using red-crushed velvet, 24-carat gold and Medici stones, or onyx as it’s more commonly known.
“It’s a monstrous piece, very Alice in Wonderland, with swags of silk on the back.”
