ADAM SANDLER: ‘I HAVE SO MUCH MONEY MY KIDS WILL END UP BEING SPOILED BRATS’

Adam SandlerACTOR Adam Sandler is worried his children will turn into spoiled brats.

The star — who plays a Hollywood agent in the new comedy Grown Ups – has two daughters with his actress wife Jacqueline Samantha Titone and admits it’s “difficult” raising children while being well-off financially.

“I go to sleep thinking about it and I wake up thinking about it. I’m trying to do the right thing,” he said.

“With the amount of money I have it’s difficult raising children the way that I was raised but I took away the west and north wing of the house from those guys. So they’re not allowed in there.”

Sandler has previously revealed that he dresses up in princess outfits when he reads his daughters fairy-tales.

“I often slip into costume as the lead character in whatever bedtime story I am reading,” he said.

“This is a little weird because my daughters love Disney princesses. But you would be surprised at how good I look in a ball gown.”

Having millions and millions might not be needed for one individual’s life but it’s pretty awesome to know you have security in your family’s finances for generations to come. Barring a catastrophic losss the Sandler’s will forever be financially comfortable because of Adam’s success. Now shut up and find a sense of humor! Moron!

    Here’s an idea: Sell your giant mansion with the “wings” and move to a “reasonably” above average environment – one good enough to protect your family – and give away the tons of “extra” money you don’t need and help those who need it. Let your children see you doing good works with your money instead of hoarding it and they will grow up knowing who you are. No-one needs multi millions in this world – when there’s so much need – and if you can’t see that when you’re in a position to help then maybe you (are) the person you don’t want your children to become!

      the other side to this is that in our free-market society one should let his children see what’s possible. If you’re good at something and work hard, you will have the west and the north wings to your house. There is nothing wrong with this. It’s difficult to raise your children in this environment but I don’t see anything wrong with them seeing and appreciating their Dad’s success. Again, in this economy where there is no limit to one’s success….somewhere else maybe this wouldn’t apply.

His wife better consider herself extremely lucky… Cause a girl like me would snatch him up in a minute. As for all that money Adam, donate some bro. Start a foundation or something, the economy is in trouble, and with a heart like yours you could make a world of difference to someone , somewhere. Let your kids help you with that mission and they will see the importance of money not ruling lives in the process.

    This is why he always wears baseball caps. like david Spade. Men in their 40′s who wear baseball caps are hiding their baldness. Chris Rock may be the only one in Sandler’s latest movie who hasn’t had plugs, hair restoration or wears a piece. (Sandler, Spade, James, Schnieder, MacDonald)

      Abbie you are so right since I saw Adam, David Spade, and James all together and they had more hair now than two years ago! They need to ask Chris what is his secret from not going bald! Maybe he don’t worried like them how his kids going to be spoiled (they’re actually well behaved) and he do charitable things with his money around the world and here in America.

    It seems everyone has an opinion, some good some not. Adam is not a lucky man, he just has alot of money, that has no barring on how he raises his kid, spoiling can happen with or without money, but having money is a tool that many do not have to bring up there kids (use it as the tool it is and give your kids the best life possible).

But if ya do,Adam, you have had a long and fairly successful carreer spun off of 3 or 4 skit characters developed durring your SNL days. Be grateful and laugh all the way to the bank. Perhaps the most important thing to instill in your daughters is that you dont have to be great at everything, just a few.I think its cool that you get involved with your children through your imaginative and creative personality. If thing go south on ya just take some of that dough and steal this….A new reality show “Kiddy Swap” or “The Tween Exchange” where welltados go live with the working poor; or worse. Give em a new perspective. But who am I….just go getem new Maybach golf carts and some kind of designer mutt and invest in a good plastic surgeon…

I do take the honor of saving money because we have so little of it. to spilt a roll of two ply toilet paper on an empty roll just enough to go around and god forbide if there is not enough before the end of the month………..

    Jeff: You are so right, some of the rich gives their money away to charities but from what I read these charities supporting themselves! Then some of the rich gives away to pets! The late Michael Jackson made a smart move that not only his money continuing supporting charities where the money actually reach people of needs but that his children won’t get their inheritances till they hit 40.

    Thank you for this article. I will also like to mention that it can possibly be hard when you are in school and just starting out to initiate a long credit history. There are many college students who are just trying to pull through and have a protracted or good credit history can sometimes be a difficult thing to have.
