KRISTEN STEWART INSISTS SHE’S IN NO RUSH TO MARRY ROBERT PATTINSON!!

Robert Pattinson and Kristen StewartKRISTEN Stewart says she doesn’t want to get married — yet.

The actress — who’s widely rumored to be dating her Twilight costar Robert Pattinson — insists she’s in no rush to settle down, despite reports to the contrary.

“I don’t want to get married right now,” she says. “Some people want to get married… whatever.

“I really don’t think about it. I’m not the type of girl who grew up planning her own wedding.”

In the next Twilight film, Breaking Dawn, Kristen’s character Bella will be planning her wedding to Edward Cullen, played by Pattinson.

“Bella is older than me and hopefully, by the time I’m there, that’s not going to be weird to play. It will be cool,” she said.

“As soon as you start bringing your own [personal] stuff in, it’s like, ‘No, that’s not right.’ You’re playing a different person. You can relate but you have to leave that stuff at the door.”

Kristen, 20, recently revealed she used to get called a “bitch” when she was at school.

“I couldn’t relate to kids my own age. They were mean and didn’t give you any chance,” she moaned.

“I was never the type of girl to be walking around talking about acting, so I didn’t get a whole lot of hassle until someone saw some old movie I did.

“I tried to play it down, but I definitely got, ‘Oh, she’s such a bitch.’”

    Good morning everyone! Quick post as I’m off to run some errands today. I suppose I’ll try to ‘get a life’ while I’m out and about. ;)
    Anyway – Tons to comment on, and I just don’t have that kind of time at the moment, but one thing really stands out in this article that forces me to comment. Here goes:

    Ummm. NO, Shrew, BELLA is NOT older than you. Bella is 17 you are 20. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt, because she had to quit school and all. Too busy being a bitch to actually learn simple math??? Unexcusable! This coming from the woman who graduated with honors? Maybe it was an honor just to get away from her. A misquote from her tutor perhaps?
    I hope that is what it boils down to. Otherwise, we would have to go with the old ‘hater’ standby that we have yet one more little piece of evidence that Shrew just doesn’t give a shit about Bella or the Twilight franchise that has made her millions, or her fanbase. (That one IS actual fact). Not to know how old Bella is and she’s portrayed (attempted to) this character in how many films now??? :roll:

      Ummmm, no, Miss looks like she’s too old to care, In the beginning of the 2nd book, New Moon, Bella had turned 18. I would assume that someone who boasts about graduating “with honors” would take the time to READ the actual story and not go by the story-line of a movie flick. Which was clearly not 100% by the books Stephanie Meyers had written. So if you think about it, who cares what kind of actors were chosen to play these characters. Who cares if Kristen got the age all wrong. So she’s 20 and not 18, that’s not a huge age difference. The movies didn’t give the movie justice anyway.

    In the book, Bella and Edward got married when she graduated high school If Kristen is 20, that makes her older than Bella. But Kristen admits she hasn’t read the books, so we can’t expect her to know that.

    Sorry, I’m not a hater, but a teacher that is still trying to get kids to READ the books rather than watch the movies. You know books, the things with two cover and paper in between that the movies are based upon??

    And “D” you are in no way wrong thinking that Kristen should be responsible to read the books and should know the age of her character! It is her character and she is that character. Edward proposes when she graduates. That sure as heck doesn’t make her older than Kristen. That has to be in the movie.

    Is Kristen so “High” on celebrity know that she’s forgotten how to really act? By her performance as Joan Jett, I’m placing my money on the fact that she needs a wake up call. We’ve created a young monster, no pun intended.

      Isn’t it amazing that K has expressed that no-one cares more than she does, that acting is her life. Wouldn’t someone that committed put forth more of an effort for a role rather than drawing off her vast resources of a highschool girls emotions and awe of first love? Well, the rest of the cast and crew are in a sad state if Shrew cares the most – yet has no idea the age of her character. When her age is a VERY big deal in the books. It’s not like Bella isn’t concerned about growing older than Edward (in human years) at all!
        I read Shrewbians defense, and not buying it. Actually, it sounds exactly like the kind of stupid sh*t she would come up with herself…only it would have taken her about 10 minutes longer to articulate! :lol:

    Hello, If the books were written in 2005-8 Check book #4 to seee if Bella is close to or 19 when they get married and almost 20 when the baby is born. So if Stewart just turned 20….Bella is older would you not think that?

    It nice to see an actress living and being normal. Many people think she is stuck up, however lets think about the ones her age and the image they keep. They are in trouble, drinking, drugs, divorces. You hear nothing but bad news, about them. Now we have a young lady trying to keep it real, I agree if she does not get married its her choice. Why are fans trying to be crital of her getting married, who her boyfriend is or is not. YOU ROCK KRISTEN and ROB YOUR NOT BAD EITHER. You both are great people. Keep it real.     This story is a lie. I know for a FACT that those two are getting married and the plan is for 2011..fall of 2011. However, my sources tell me that they actually will never make it that long and they will be married before the end of this year, 2010. And I completely trust and believe in Beverly. Ask anyone, she never lies and never exaggerates and she is so closely connected to this couple through professional and personal avenues. (Beverly is not her real name).

    “The Summit HW Reporter Review?”

    The review in the “Summit HW Reporter” appears to be a little bias don’t u think? Is Kirk Honeycutt that shallow to attribute fine acting to having a good personal trainer? I don’t have anything against TL I think he does a very good job promoting the TW films. But his acting is no way compelling enough to steal the show from R. Unless TL managed (in between workouts) to take some acting classes than I maybe I would believe it. However, TL and K rely far to heavily on one form (METHOD) for every character they play, there are other styles!

    What’s strange to me is that the HW Reporter seem to go out of their way to write about R/K’s acting but than chooses to focus on TL “ripped muscles” as testimony for having the “it factor.” Hmmm! This sounds like Summit trying hard to over sell TL again. Why to appeal to the teen demographic and get into their pockets? WOW! U sly devils……….Not! But what I don’t quite understand is why would Summit down play R’s HP contribution since he is the one Summit used to build the TW franchise on. Summit, K and now TL are using R’s shoulders to stand on. The story that K discovered R we know is false. We know Summit made up the story in order to market Robsten. When the truth is R was the Principal actor on TW not K. Perhaps it’s easier to control R for BD 1& 2 if u reduce his supporters by smearing him and therefore R will be forced into continue supporting Robsten.

    Summit why resort to smearing R? Do u think consumers can’t tell what’s going on? Even your own reviewer (Kirk Honeycutt) u paid off did not feel comfortable writing his review of TL. So much so that he focused more on TL physical attributes rather than his acting abilities. Well at least u did get something right in your HW Reporter Review! K always delivers a listless performance.

    IMO: U might want to stop making it look so obvious u are trying to go after the teen fan base by continuing to smear R. The list of the people u paid off to smear R! EW, E!, and now HW Reporter. Yes, R supporters are keeping tabs.

      I love your debates, I sincerely enjoy speaking with you. I have a few questions/ideas.

      Why do K and TL only have one method of acting? Like you said there are many different methods. Is one method preferred over another in HW or are K/TL told to act that way because it brings out their attributes towards the characters? Perhaps no one cares what they do as long as it puts money in the pockets of Summit.

      IMO, Summit is trying to oversell TL because he is the “third wheel” Summit has Robsten tied up with a pretty bow, what are they going to do with TL? Also, I think they are marketing TL this way because of Jacob having muscles and being a wolf, trying to “portray” Jacob as closely as possible.

      Why does R have to be the “shoulders” that everyone stands on? Is there no one at Summit that can figure out a way to market all three in a positive light, without one of the actors having to hold everything together?

      As far as Summit downplaying R’s HP contribution, Summit wanted to have the same appeal as HP films but they didn’t quite live up to the hype. The Twilight franchise is large, don’t get me wrong, but I think HP is substantially larger.

      Perhaps you can help me understand this better, Ron and Hermoine end up together in the last HP book, however that paticular studio did not try to “market” Rupert and Emma as a couple and the HP films are still doing very well, IMO. Why is Summit doing that to R/K? I know its all about money but one does not need to create illusions in order to sell films.

      Perhaps Summit thought they could walk all over R, seeing as he is somewhat of a newcomer to the business. He would be the whipping boy and just do what they told him to do. I don’t think Summit clearly thought through anything they were going to do with the franchise, if they did, I don’t think it would turn into the mess they have now. ( I don’t mean this to sound mean or horrible, its just a thought.)

        Hi! Laura,

        First, let me say I can only address a few of your questions due to my personal time constraints. To answer one of your questions! Yes, Summit was more concerned about marketing Robsten because they could not afford to invest a lot of money in making a quality film like HP (Harry Potter). Summit was a desperate small company who needed to make a quick buck!! What better way than to use old HW formulas to guarantee money from teens who aren’t very sophisticated or discerning! Which IMO is not the case today due social media technology.

        The reason K relies heavily on one style of acting is because she is lazy!

        Only astute, scholarly actors will read the books and script, do a character breakdown and analysis before deciding on their course of action. K is too lazy and egotistical to do any hard work. K’s form (method) is why no one can feel any sympathy for Bella’s character. Kristen makes Bella too assertive and combative and therefore audiences can’t believe or sympathize with Bella’s predicament. There is a reason Stephanie Meyer made Bella’s character reserved. Here’s a clue! Talking to the author might have helped Kristen get prepared?

        TL is relying on one style of acting (Method); and I’m sure was influenced by K. This is why K hangs all over TL and sings his praises because he shares her same acting philosophy for TW. But different than K, TL is actually willing to work hard and get prepared for a role instead of looking for some quick/easy fix solution like K. But I can excuse TL for choosing (method) acting since he’s only getting started in his career. However, K (not at all) her mom is supposedly a “script supervisor” K should know how to do research and character breakdowns. This only further confirms K has no vision, is lazy and stolid as an artist/actor.

        Laura, being an intellectual consumer of entertainment (like u demonstrate so well) due to your education in Theater can appreciate refined acting. There are many consumers like u who can watch a movie and can be very discerning about what there getting from HW. The passive consumer is a thing of the past. Audiences today are information virtuosos and have become their own investigative reporters. This requires actors/artist today to deconstruct everything to prepare for a character. U can never be over prepared for anything only under today! I’m sorry K is very unprepared for visibility or success IMO.

      What I find most interesting about all of this? The fact that Rob’s girlfriend, Nina showed up that the Eclipse premiere. Total PR inside the afterparty. TONS of photo’s yet the only ones that surface are of Rob and Shrew? Doesn’t take a bloodhound to sniff that one out. These crazy shippers make Summit’s job so much easier. That’s what kills me. All they have to do is put a photo or a quote out there and they run with it like their pants are on fire and come up with the CRAZIEST explainations. It literally scares me that these folks are adults!
      IMO- The big Taylor push is because I don’t think Rob wants to play anymore. If this recent promotion has shown us anything at all it is that he is trying to ease the fans into no Robsten. As much as Shrew hangs all over poor Taylor, I have to wonder if Taysten will be the next push.
      Do you think Summit ever had an exit plan for PRsten? I don’t think they thought it would get this nutty, or had any clue as to how batshit crazy those shippers would get. Now what? I’ll bet they don’t know wether to scratch their watch or wind their butts.

        ITA: Yes no exit plan I’m afraid. Summit is living paycheck to paycheck. They need Robsten to survive. For the first film they had to resort to paying R with promises instead of money. They could not afford to put a lot of money into RM which masqueraded as an outside deal. But in actuality was apart of R’s contract negotiations for TW. Also, R was able to help out his family and friends who are talented writers and musicians get some exposure on TW because that’s how Summit could only afford to pay R at the time.

        Question to Robsten supporters if K had so much pull that she selected R. How come K’s mother did not get some kind of perks during K’s contract negotiations for TW? She was shopping her script around to studios? It’s due to the fact that K was not the Principal actor. All the way’s Summit tried to pay R under the radar to give audiences the impression K had so much influence and respect was all PR.

        The only problem no one (Summit nor R) thought K would get high off of drinking the PR kool-aid!! Go figure!

        I have a question for you. Do you think that Summit took a gamble on Rob in casting him as Edward – I suppose as they would have, no matter who was given the role? I need to elaborate and not sure how to word this exactly. Please be patient with me. lol
        So, Summit agree’s to pay R with not only money, but another film (RM) and exposure for his friends. Banking that he is not well known enough to A)know any better and B)needed the work/exposure. So, Nikki Reed helps him out by giving him a place on the soundtrack (unexpected) and Summit gives him the opportunity to pen Bella’s Lullaby. Rob was the HP typecast they had been searching for, so it would make sense that KS and KH were pushed to make it work. (Because, honestly? I DO NOT see this chemistry). Basically, Summit, not knowing what they had on their hands with Twilight, knew that had to do whatever it took to make it work. Thus the PRsten fabrication. To thrust this film into the spotlight as their last ditch effort to save their sinking production company. So, once PRsten is in full force, confidentiality agreements are signed, sealed, and delievered, the craziness ensues. Meaning? Money, money, money. Now they have R – who is eternaly greatful for the super celeb status because he believes they took a chance on him (instead, they USED him) and they helped thrust his friends into celeb status as well. NOW, R is a much bigger star, with a much brighter future and Summit knows that he will most likely NOT work with them again, so they have to save the sinking ship of PRsten to keep KS- their only viable resource once this is over. I guess that would make sense as to why Summit is not casting her in other movies right now, as they have to keep ‘Bella’ as Bella in the minds of the fans. Not sure if I articulated as I wanted, but my mind was getting a bit ahead of my fingers. ;)

        Summit saw R’s popularity growing among mature audiences who were not going to support Robsten and pay for the TW films. Robsten and K supporters are mainly teens which = money in the minds of Summit. If R resisted doing Robsten PR than it would jeopardize Summits inability to earn the most money from teens. However, if they could reduce R’s fan base get control over R than he would be forced into doing Robsten PR of BD 1&2.

        R knows Robsten does nothing for his future and so does Fox.

    Further proof that R was the Principal actor on TW and not K. I thought u would enjoy seeing the proof. According to Forbes R made 17 million and K made 12 million last year.

    Follow the money trail everyone for the answer that Robsten is a marketing campaign created by Summit to appeal to teens. Summit selected R because they wanted to go after the HP fan base. The idea of K choosing R was fabricated in order to market Robsten.

      I saw this referenced last night. I’m curious now. Thinking about the negotiations for BD when Rob’s star was riding so high months ago, I wonder who is principal for those two? Maybe *not* K?

      Also, I am curious about how they calc those numbers. My understanding *limited knowledge* is that they get a base salary and usually royalties because of use of their image. Wouldn’t they also get a cut of box office ticket sales? I wouldn’t imagine that its just base pay in the contract (maybe TW, but not BD now?)
      The point I’m coming back to is that this total – is what an ‘approximation’? I can’t imagine Forbes actually pulls their tax records, but then I don’t know how Forbes pulls the numbers each year for these lists.

      Guess I was expecting something a bit larger due to ticket sales, merchandising and dvd sales.

        Keep digging u are close? U have such a great nose. I will offer u a clue taxes is one way Forbes can see earnings but not the actors. Look at what a company is paying out (which is not only money) rather than what’s coming in for your answer. Also, yes R is the Principal for BD 1 & 2 Summit still wants to sell Robsten.

        I need some more research on how contracts in HW work. Let me say this. RP has much more pull with his contact than KS. If what you’re saying is true about him being the principal on TW then every subsequent movie contract he has more leverage. Realizing that HP, TW, NM, RM all were money makers he’s got more on the + side than KS. Could also mean why she’s having difficulty getting her mother’s script financed. I’ll keep looking for their non-disclosure contracts to expire and see what happens next.
