TOM CRUISE’S CAREER? THAT’S ALL, FOLKS!!!

Posted by Adam

Tom CruiseTOM Cruise‘s career is over!

Hollywood insiders say Tom’s days as an A-lister are numbered following the lacklustre weekend opening of his new movie Knight and Day, which also stars Cameron Diaz.

The flick was beaten by Toy Story 3 and Adam Sandler‘s Grown Ups.

“This was the worst opening for a Cruise action movie in 20 years,” a source told PopEater.

“I just don’t see how even the eerily eternally optimistic Tom can see this as anything but very bad news, maybe even the end of Tom’s long career.

“People have turned on the once beloved actor and don’t want to spend two hours with him anymore.

“I have never in my years in biz seen such venom for an actor. Tom has become the poster child of everything creepy. After this weekend he must be worried that his career is over.

“Now the man who used to be the biggest movie star in the world is reduced to putting on a fat suit, fake chest hair, a bald cap and slapping Jennifer Lopez‘s butt at the MTV Movie Awards.

“Who would have thought that cute kid that we all fell in love with in Top Gun might see his last role playing the fat, bald, vulgar movie producer Les Grossman?”

““This was the worst opening for a Cruise action movie in 20 years,” a source told PopEater”

^^^ It’s obvious that that source is not reliable since it missed the fact that 2007′s “Lions for Lambs” was Tom Cruise’s worse opening EVER. 3 years later, Tom is still making movies. Including 2008′s “Valkyrie”, which was a Box Office SUCCESS. So much for the end of his career. Try harder HATERS.

I think it is sad that we have all forgotten Tom Cruise and the wonderful actor he is. We clamor to see idiots like Adam Sandler, Will Ferrel and Steve Carroll and forget that Tom Cruise can act rings around any of them.

Oh yeah, SNL does not always mean success. Most of the actors, with the exception of greats like Chevy Chase and Dan Akroyd, are one liners who basically play the same character over and over in each and every film they do. Gets so tiresome.

Could this have any thing to do with Scientology?

i hope his career is over. his acting skills might be debatable, but he openly supports a brainwashing UFO-cult founded by a racist lunatic. Scientology is dangerous.

I agree with Kalan!!! What passes as acting from the likes of what is CURRENTLY fashionable at the box office in terms of actors is rather fickle. Tom Cruise is a fantastic actor. And a great talent! His enormous body of work over the years shows both consistancy and hard work. What other actor of his generation has his diversity of roles???
