CAMERON Diaz says she laughed “consistently” while filming new movie Knight and Day.

The actress stars alongside Tom Cruise in the film, which bombed at the box office this past weekend, and admits she couldn’t stop herself from giggling during takes.

“Every day we would come to work and laugh consistently — you know that belly laugh,” she said. “I mean, I do tend to laugh a lot but when you’re driving a car and you look out the window and there is Tom Cruise on the hood with a gun, that’s pretty funny.

“It was funny for me anyway.”

Diaz recently said she believes she has “nothing to prove” as an actress.

“I don’t feel like I need to prove anything to anybody,” she said. “When you start out and people identify with you they want to keep you how they remembered you the first time they fell in love with you.

“It’s like a relationship. But that doesn’t concern me as I’ve always tried to be true to myself and move at a pace that was right for me.”
