Anna Kendrick Glad to Escape Twilight Hype

Anna KendrickANNA Kendrick is “so relieved” that she gets to escape the Twilight hype.

The actress — who reprises her role as one of Bella’s teen pals in the third Twilight movie Eclipse — says she’s glad she doesn’t have to deal with any of the hysteria endured by Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart.

“I’m so relieved,” she says. “I get to be in Twilight and that’s it. I get to be in it and be a part of it but I get to leave the house and live a normal life.

“I feel like I’m living this strange double-life because when I go home I get to do the same things I always have. I know that’s not the case for Robert or Kristen and I know that’s hard for them.”

Anna recently revealed that she wants to learn how to play pool.

“I really want to learn to play pool,” she said. “I don’t want to be one of those chicks in a bar that you know, needs her boyfriend to set up a shot for her. So that’s a life goal for me.”

    I think its funny that Anna Kendrick,an OSCAR NOMINATED actress can have a normal life and two actors that haven’t even been talked about in the Oscar ballot voting can’t.There are many reasons why Anna can have a normal life.The main reason is that she separates work from home life.Another reason is she goes out but she doesn’t go to the places where she knows are the paparazzi hot spots unlike the other two.I beginning to think that the other two like going to the paparazzi hot spots or at least KS does so she can keep her name in the news as long as possible because she knows that her time in the limelight is getting shorter by the day.One more thing KS has said repeatedly that she is the cat woman.She said in interviews that she has a boring life because all she does is go home and be with her cats.A lie.You hear and see pictures of her hitting all the paparazzi hotspots.The girl has lied so many times that I doubt that she knows the difference between a lie and the truth.

      I agree. Anna doesn’t play the hollywood games of cat and mouse. I am so happy for Anna that she is doing so well!

    Katie, I think you’re wrong about Kristen. If she were hitting up all the paparazzi hotspots, we would have daily pictures of her in the tabloids. Instead, the only pictures tabs can get their hands on are of her occasionally leaving a quiet bar, at a premiere, or – the most common pic – in LAX. Hardly the same thing as chicks like the Kardashians who make all their money appearing at every party in town.

    That being said, I have a total girl crush on Anna and think she is one of the coolest young people in Hollywood. But it IS much easier for her to have a normal life than someone like KStew, who is universally loved/hated and whose pictures can bring in big bucks for the paps.

    katie: no offence sweetie but i do not agree with you. i know about the popularity of anna but i think robsten are way more popular than anna now days. don’t take it personally please but robsten are continously in spolight and anna’s getting it partially.
