The star is apparently furious with veteran director/writer Michael Patrick King — she allegedly blames him for the lackluster fan response to Sex and the City 2.

MPK helmed the prior Sex flick and many of the TV episodes.

But he’s fallen out of favor with Sarah, insiders say.

“Don’t look for Michael on future projects — SJP feels he’s lost his hit-making touch,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer.

“She felt unsure about the script from the start, especially the whole ‘the girls drop in on Dubai’ twist, but Michael assured her they had a blockbuster on their hands…and told her to trust him. She did — but she won’t make that mistake again!”

      Of what? Odd statement. She seems more of a perfectionist that’s having a hard time with a movie that probably shouldn’t have been made in the first place. I liked Sex in the City, but the first movie itself was mediocre and something that screams Hollywood could stand to break into a broader market with arial line – outside of the box thinking.
