ALEXA Ray Joel says her dad tells her to “cover” her breasts before she goes out in public.

Alexa — the daughter of Billy Joel and Christie Brinkley – has revealed the rock legend likes her to steer clear of wardrobe malfunctions.

“Just cover your bust a little,” Alexa told shock jock Howard Stern when he asked what type of advice her dad gave her before she left the house this morning.

Alexa said she’d often paid the price of her dad’s fame with boys.

“You have to question [the motivation] with people you first meet. But I think with guys you can tell,” she said.

Alexa — who’s currently promoting her new single — then insisted her dad never “pushed her” to become a success

“I don’t feel that’s really the pressure. I feel it’s more like the public eye and acceptance and I feel like it’s expected that I live up to his legendary status which is like impossible,” she said.

How do you know her? I met (and have become friends with) her no more than a few months ago. And though I have not spent a huge amount of time with her, I have spent enough to where at this point; she seems nothing close to your description.
So you are saying that I am being deceived? I only like to surround myself with good people. I cannot say that is absolutely the case in the few months that we have known one another, but she seems to have been raised very well and is a kind-hearted person in my assessment thus far. Donna, I’m so glad that yours was the last response I read. I was feeling overwhelmes by all the hate and nonsense being spewed throughout this page. I also lost my dad. Actually, in my grief I would say that he was taken from me and that my daughter was robbed of a wonderful, loving grandfather.
