The Bounty Hunte star’s lawyers obtained a temporary restraining order Tuesday at a court in Santa Monica to protect her from Jason R. Peyton, who was arrested after spending days trying to find the actress on Sunset Boulevard, California.

In a signed court declaration the actress revealed that “delusional” Peyton had made her fear for her safety.

“Mr. Peyton has aggressively sought to have personal contact with me and integrate himself into my life,” Aniston stated.

“’Due to Mr. Peyton’s delusional compulsion and increasingly harassing, stalking and threatening conduct, I have been subjected to a course of conduct which has and is seriously alarming, annoying and harassing me.

“Mr. Peyton’s ongoing, ever-increasing, aggressive and harassing conduct are extremely distressing. I fear for my personal safety and that of those around me.”

Court documents filed on Tuesday reveal police detained the 24-year-old man — who traveled cross-country in a delusional attempt to marry the former Friends star — last week after finding him with a sharp object, duct tape and love notes to her.

Among the messages he had written to himself were brief notes reading “Jen told me she wants me to be the father of her children” and “Call Jen”, as well a s a list of potential baby names.

The filings state Peyton — who had scratched ‘I love Jennifer Aniston’ onto his car — has been accused of stalking others and is disobeying court orders that he must take anti-psychotic medications.

Police reports say he has “a history of violence and criminal stalking”.

The man — who has been diagnosed as a delusional and paranoid schizophrenic was placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold by Los Angeles police.

According to court documents, Peyton has said he “won’t stop” his pursuit of the 41-year-old actress.

Under the terms of the restraining order Peyton must stay 100 yards away from the actress’ home, places of work and vehicles.

He must also not approach her staff, agents, managers and other representatives.

    Sorry Barney but this stalker is a paranoid schizophrenic and he should be placed in prison, he’s a danger to society and especially Jennifer, she seems like a pretty nice person as well and it’s totally wrong that this disgusting fiend is chasing her, many stars in the past long ago were murdered by stalkers and I find the police should put this man away for a long time before Jennifer or someone else ends up hurt.

    True the man is mentally ill and unstable however, these movie folks are all about making themselves attractive at all costs. That’s their business. Shame on them for putting themselves out there with hairdressers, cosmetic surgeons, personal traniners and such, then asking for your money at the movies and yet act so surprised and ofended when someone with a less than mental state comes affectionatly for them! Like showing a child candy but mustn’t eat! Temptrest. Sorry…don’t feel pain for Jennifer Aniston….I feel sorry for the man with the mental illness. I hope he can get the medical care he requires.

    to compensate for her lack of talent jennifer posed naked in various magazines just so she stays in the news. and that is the reason why this sick man got obsessed with her. sorry but this former guess wanna-be model doesn’t have what it takes to stay long in showbiz. she’s just boring and desperate for attention. and what a great timing to announce the restraining order of her stalker. her pr team once again tried to snatch media attention from angie and brad who attended the salt premier. epic fail though because everyone was all over brangelina in LA, reporters, paparazzi, tv networks, family, colleagues, and the throng of fans who waited for hours just to get a glimpse of the power couple. sorry jen you’re just boring. the best thing you can do is retire, you can not play the same shitty roles and wait until you’re 50 before you stop.
