JOE Jonas insists it won’t be a problem when he hits the road with former flame Demi Lovato — because the pair have been good pals for a “long time”.

The pair — who recently split after dating for several months — will be touring together for the next three months.

“Demi [Lovato] has been a friend of mine for a long time,” Joe, 20, told Ryan Seacrest on his KIIS-FM radio show Friday.

Demi, 17, will be opening for the Jonas Brothers when they kick-off their tour Aug. 7.

“I think that our friendship is so strong that it surpasses a lot of things and I think touring will be a lot of fun,” says Jonas.

Reports earlier this month claimed Joe and Demi might be getting back together.

“They have been chatting and working stuff out recently via the phone,” blabbed one insider.

“They want this tour to be the best possible and least awkward for everyone.

“They will be meeting up soon privately to go over things and hopefully move forward together on a common ground.”
