Shia LaBeouf Was Nervous About Working With Oliver Stone

SHIA LaBeouf admits he was nervous about working with Oliver Stone on new movie Wall Street 2 — until the acclaimed director made a joke about Tom Cruise!
“The first meeting I had with Oliver he looked me in the eye and he said ‘Don’t worry, Tom Cruise wasn’t an actor before he met me either’,” says Shia.
“I needed that. I needed a bit of a tough coach and I needed a bit of coddling.”
Shia, 23, recently admitted he has had difficulty knowing what to do with his multi-million dollar fortune as he leads a fairly modest life so after buying houses for his divorced parents, now splashes his cash on his passion for baseball team the Los Angeles Dodgers.
“I’ve never been a huge spender. I bought my parents’ houses because I was young and thinking like most single children whose parents are going through a divorce, I wanted to try and make things better,” he said.
“I realized they just weren’t meant to be and that’s beautiful too and they’re friends. Otherwise it’s mainly Dodger tickets. Seriously, I go pretty hard on those.”
