CHELSEA CLINTON’S WEDDING IS INFURIATING HER PARENTS’ PALS!

Chelsea ClintonCHELSEA Clinton‘s super-secret wedding — which has been widely touted as the social event of the year — is causing some problems for her parents, Bill and Hilary Clinton!

Some folk — including old friends and political donors — are furious that they haven’t received an invite.

“I’m good enough to borrow a plane from, but not good enough to be invited to the wedding?” said one Clinton friend, who remembered the times he handed over his jet and his pilot to take Bill Clinton around the country but had not landed a coveted invitation to the wedding of Chelsea and her fiance Marc Mezvinsky.

Previous reports have claimed the nuptials will take place at Aster Court in the picturesque village of Rhinebeck, New York.

It’s believed President Barack Obama and media mogul Oprah Winfrey will attend.

Other guests expected to show their faces reportedly include Barbra Streisand, Kate Capshaw and Steven Speilberg, former Clinton advisor Harold Ickes, Clinton money man Terry McAuliffe, former British Prime Minister John Major, historian Doris Kearns Goodwin, media moguls Ted Turner and long-time Clinton friend Denise Rich.

    why doesn’t everyone leave this family alone.Chelsa is not responsible for her parents previous behavior, she’s a young lady in love who just wants to get married. Her father is no longer the President and Chelsa’s life has been hard enough with her father being president and his behavior…….yes, she should have eloped, but she didn’t want to disappoint her parents,,,,,,,,,,,well brought up.

    Chelsea’s parent’s friends need to get over themselves. This is NOT a political or a state event. Some will say, “oh yes it is.” NO IT IS NOT!! It is what the BRIDE and the GROOM (ie: the only ones that really matter) say it is – It is a family affair to celebrate the marriage of two people getting married. Her parent’s associates are total idiots. Why would they want to go to a wedding where they do NOT know the bride and the groom?? Only an idiot does that. Now if it were a state dinner, I can see them being a little miffed. BUT, in exchange for caving in to having a big wedding like her parents wanted, they had to agree that ONLY people that the bride and groom knew personally could attend, and like good parents, they agreed. Her parent’s associates need to ask themselves if they would want people at THEIR wedding who were complete strangers. I agree with Michael Bindner who posted earlier stating that “Airplane boy can get invited when Bill gets married again.” Until then, they need to get their heads out of their assess, take a chill pill, and move on.

    I have only been married once but the pre-wedding jitters were the worst…I can’t imagin what that poor [ha ha poor-not] girl is going through right now…Barbera Strisand? Ted Turner? Right! Those are her close friends and relatives? I don’t think so. She has my sympathy and best wishes.

    i remember that it was a lot like this for my own wedding–which world leader or celebrity to invite–which to snub…yadda yadda yadda…i can empathize completely with cc completely!!!…it took 2 years to finally get all the thank-you cards written…what a hassle…our favorite gift was the teak bookends of two elephants screwing from the shah of pshaw…it was priceless–probably in both senses of the word…luckily we were married before oprah was oprah, so we didn’t have to worry about her dissing us on national tv…that a person needs pre-nup stress counselling these days is neither far-fetched nor hard to comprehend…
