ROCKER Billy Corgan collapsed on stage during a gig in Florida.

The Smashing Pumpkins frontman — who was performing at Ritz Ybor venue as part of an American tour of small club venues — lost consciousness during a performance of the band’s hit song Bullet for Butterfly Wings.

“For those that saw me fall last night during Bullet, that wasn’t a stage move or clumsiness, that was me blacking out and wiping out,” Corgan wrote on his Twitter page.

“I have no memory of falling against the drum riser and my guitar cabinet, but I can tell you I’ve got quite a good bruise + am moving slow.

Despite his injuries, Corgan said the tour would continue as planned.
