SARAH FERGUSON LANDS A LUCRATIVE JOB OFFER FROM OPRAH WINFREY!

Sarah FergusonOPRAH Winfrey has offered shamed Sarah Ferguson her very own TV show — according to a new report.

Britain’s Daily Mail says the billionaire media mogul — who’s launching her own cable channel, the Oprah Winfrey Network, next January — reportedly called Ferguson last week to arrange a deal.

Sarah was left red-faced earlier this year when was caught on video accepting money in exchange for a promise of business access to her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, who is a British trade representative

“Oprah made the call this week,” a source told the newspaper.

“They spoke in person and, for Sarah, the offer is a ray of light at the end of a very dark tunnel.

“Oprah has known Sarah for some time and the Duchess went on Oprah’s show to explain herself after her most recent scandal.

“Oprah has always been impressed by Sarah’s ability to pick herself up and reinvent herself.

“She feels Sarah will be someone viewers of her new channel will be able to relate to on many levels — she’s a divorcee, a working mother, someone who has made some very public mistakes and a woman who, like Oprah, constantly battles with her weight.

“Oprah was impressed by Sarah’s ability to face up to her errors and to apologize publicly for them. Americans love people who reinvent themselves and Oprah believes Sarah can do that on the new network.

“Sarah also believes her chances of finding meaningful work in Britain are negligible and she has always felt more accepted in America.

“The idea would be for her to be based in New York so that she could return to England regularly to see the Princesses. At the end of the day she needs to earn a living.”

    Hmm..interesting. What is the show going to be about though? We Americans don’t really care too much about what the royals do or don’t do. So she tried to make a buck off her ex. No one cares. I’d sell my ex for less than that he is a total ass wipe.

      Actually, if you have heard Sarah talk in the past you know that she doesn’t care what the Royals do either. They made her life miserable because she was “down to earth” and had a sense of humor. She showed her zest for life in the past and, as we all know, the Queen doesn’t allow any of that “nonsense”.

      The shame of it is that when the Queen herself was a young woman (when she was a princess), she loved to laugh, run around playing and having great fun. They have film of her displaying that same “zest for life”.

    AH yes lets reward another failure…Now she gets her own talk show. I doubt very much she will make a go of it. No one cares about her anymore..We only paid attention to her for awhile because she was the late Lady Di’s friend and former sister-in-law. Everyone is now getting over our loss of Lady Di. So Fergie really means nothing. P.S who even cares what Andrew is up too anyway? I don’t care about Charles one bit and he at least has a possibility to be a King. Again that really does’nt appeal to me either…

      “We only paid attention to her awhile because she was the late Lady Di’s friend….” Don’t speak for everyone LISTEN and LEARN!! Fergie was much loved by many in this Country because she was a fun-loving, carefree young woman in love — very much like a young American woman. In fact, that is why she always felt more at home here in the States. Most of the American public actually understood her enthusiasm for life, unlike the Royal snobs who put down EVERYTHING she did EVERY DAY for YEARS. I remember she couldn’t even have a good laugh on the Ski slops without the Queen having a cardiac because Sarah and Di were laughing so much and, God forbid, fell down in the snow!

        You are absolutely correct, thank you…if you don’t like it change the channel, I fully intend to watch, I think Oprah is making a great choice. Whoever the voice was that said Fat, drunk, readheaded and stupid first needs to learn better english and then take a look at oneself and take a personal inventory before saying such sorted things about someone you don’t know personally. I myself and Readheaded and somewhat large, that doesn’t make me stupid or drunk or skanky.

    This habit which Ferguson has of “reinventing” herslef is due to the help of others. Others who have conatcated her and/ or procured deals with her.
    Yeah she had millions and blew it. The same thing has happened to many who who have won the lottery. I don’t see Oprah offering them a thing!

    Sounds ok…but Sarah is a gold-digger and a born looser. She has been given the most phenomenal opportunities but has always managed to turn sunshine into rain – putting it mildly. I believe Oprah is looking for someone to succeed her and pick up where she left off. Sarah Ferguson is unstable and does not have the HEART to carry anyone’s banner. People should not give Sarah Ferguson the benefit of the doubt anymore. There are many others more deserving…Sarah is a money-grabbing whore. Sorry.

    I wouldn’t watch Sarah Ferguson ride a horse much less her talk show. She made her bed, now she should lie in it. Anyone who helps her out (Oprah) is a loser too. If Sarah had $5 million dollars, she would spit on Oprah and everyone else. Paleeze…enough is enough, right?

    Good for Sarah and Oprah. I would watch her, and I think she’ll be a hit. I’m sure it is a weight off the Duchess’ shoulders. To Ruth – You seem like a woman scorned. Have,you had a past incident with Sarah? I can’t seem to recall all the great opportunities that were afforded to Sarah,unless you are talking about that windfall of alimony ($20,000 per year). She wrote some children’s books and was a spokesperson for weight watchers, but how long can that go on? Give her a break. I say live and let live and best of luck to the duchess.

    I sincerly hope that the “haters” noted here have never made any kind of mistakes or sins because one day you will be asking for another chance! It is a personal decision to do better in life for yourself and the people you love and I am sure Sarah came to that conclusion afer the latest problem of hitting “rock bottom”! Only those who live in glass houses can throw stones! That would be none of us as we all have skeletons in our closets! Be glad that noone has video taped you in action and be supportive of anyone who may be seeking redemption.

    I am tired of reading all the remarks about her being a “drunk”. Living with her husband’s family and in the limelight all the time is enough to drive anyone to drink. I have not seen any daily reports of her drinking to excess-she should be free to go out and get silly once in awhile. Most of the people making those cracks, have NEVER been silly drunk before????     Why does Oprah have to come to her rescue. Sarah should start being realistic. She is not all that important in the Royal family now. I blame the royals they are snobs and cast you aside when you dont suit them anymore I dont care for the Royal family they are just a wasteful showpiece that needs to be abolished.       Her endorsements are a trademark in themselves. As for Ferguson getting her own show, it does not surprise me.
      People who have either had a sex tape, have committed crimes, or are notorious for bad publicity somehow always get their 15 minutes of fame afterword with some book deal or talk show. This country is good about that.
      I once did a phone interview with Ferguson for a product she was endorsing alled Gourmayo — yes! A Mayonaise; it was then that I knew she’d hit rock bottom. Still, it was interesting talking to her. Point is, there seems to have been no real stability in life for Ferguson. To her credit, she has done various charities. That is the ONLY thing that makes her a decent human being in comparison to other people who have exploited their bad publicity for fame. Good luck to her anyway. Let’s hope she can invest this more intelligently than her past projects.

    I have been a Sarah Ferguson fanb for years and was happy that she had married Prince Andrew. i guess being married to the prince and being part of the Royal family was a difficult task for her and being accepted she did have two beautiful daughters Eugenie and Beatrix she did remarkably well with weight watchers as for the divorce settlement she got was pittance to what Diana got Diana had two sons who one day might be the future king of England and she knew this Diana she had the upper hand in the divorce Fergie was no way near Dianas negociations in her settlement of divorce she is a lovely woman Fergie who deserves the best life can offer her she clould marry and man she wants lets hope that Oprah can help the beautiful Duchess to help her find her true path to happiness maybe the royal family was not the right family for her she needs to find herself a nice husband who can giver her the stability she seeks and someone who she can trust/
