Natalie Portman’s Low-Tech Rehearsal
NATALIE Portman had to learn how to drive an imaginary car for her latest movie role.
The Star Wars star took the unusual driving lessons to prepare for all the blue screen action she had to undertake for the movie version of Nordic comic book hero Thor.
“We had a very high-tech rehearsal where they used chairs to build different spaces in an empty room,” explains Natalie.
“Then we would have to do scenes and act around the chairs as if they were like cars. We had to sit in a car and pretend we were driving.”
Portman recently revealed she’s addicted to chocolate.
“I’m addicted to chocolate,” she said earlier this year. “I love Chocolate anything. It’s my one big weakness and everyone I know, friends and family, know just how to please me.”
