Kristen Stewart Feels Pressure From Twilight Fans
KRISTEN Stewart has admitted she feels pressure from Twilight Saga fans to get her character right.
The 20-year-old actress — who plays Bella Swan in the movie series opposite rumored boyfriend Robert Pattinson as vampire Edward Cullen — admits she worries about what people think of her interpretation of the much loved character, who first appeared in Stephenie Meyer’s books of the same name.
“It’s just surreal to be a crucial part of a machine like this. I’m sort of the vessel,” she said. “These girls are obsessed with Edward through me. If I wasn’t right I’d be persecuted and put on a cross.”
However, the actress revealed that she loves her character and can’t wait to film the last two movies in the series, which are based on the final book Breaking Dawn.
“I’m excited to go and do the next couple of years of Bella’s life,” she said.
The US-born beauty also explained that was excited to make upcoming movie The Runaways — a biopic about rocker Joan Jett in which she stars alongside Dakota Fanning — and rushed to make it between Twilight movies.
“It was tough because I only had a really tiny window of free time, but I really wanted to make the movie,” she said.
“And I didn’t want to get any older than Joan was when she was in The Runaways. I just crammed it in and hoped it would work.”

Kristen, I truly loved the way you played Bella. She is not some cookie cutter girl from a Disney show. Bella is a serious girl for her age even in the book. Bella thinks deeply about everything. Way to go Kristen!
The Script does need a little help though.
LOL She isnt a cookie cutter by far.If someone was trying to kill you all the time and you were in love with a vampire and werewolf I dont think much smiling would be going on!! But the writing for Twilight scripts leave so much room for improvement. I dont normally blog but I can’t throw these kids under the bus. There is a process that they go thru to get these parts and for the movie to have made it this far. Somebody did something right.
Kristen i also love the way you play Bella. And for all the other on this site because i know you all will start hateing on her this is for you. Most people belive they have a clear idea of what’s right and wrong. Many say they know how they’ll act,or how the’ll handle an extreme situation. But to be honest, no one knows.Not really. Even if you say,”I’ll never do this or that!” it actually might not be true. Because none of us truly knows what we’ll do when the circumstances become so overwhelming and comlex that we can’t even understand.And then there are the totally unforeseen situations,when life deals cards you never expected.This is what happen to her when she got the role of Bella.She did’nt no how too handle it now she getting better at it so stop hateing on Kristen.

Personally I don’t hate Kristen, I am just not a fan of hers.
As to her interpretation of Bella, I think it would have helped if she had actually read the books (which she admitted she hadn’t). I don’t think that she did a great job, and I don’t think that the clunky scripts have helped either.
There are some actors and actresses that I will follow willingly as they have proven time and again to chose work that I will enjoy, and They work hard and well on screen. Kristen is just not one of them. I havn’t seen Eclipse yet and seeing as the few parts of the book that I did like have been cut, I have no real incentive to see it so I shall just wait until it is on TV.
Overall Kristen could dissapear from the big screen tomorow and it wouldn’t bother me one little bit.

Oh, so that’s why she got Bella’s character wrong, she didn’t read the book?!!! Knowing how the fans really loved the books, I’m disappointed that Stephanie Meyers allowed them to change the characters from the book so much [Edward and Bella].
She did read the books and she did a good job as Bella. Granted this last movie could have been much better, but the script was awful. They just did not capture the essence of the book to me. Kristen is and will be around awhile, so will Rob!All the things people dislike about her is the thing others love.There are a lot of actors that could disappear,so called A list at that!! lol But I actually want these kids to succeed and with age comes experience and growth.
She has admitted in interviews that she’s never read any of the books! And she has done a really abd job as Bella. She shows no emotion, whether it be when someone is kissing her or proposing to her. She has the same facial expressions all the way through the film. If she was older, I’d have suggested she’d had botox. I ust think she doesn’t know how to act properly.

She may be young, but has been acting since she was very young, (about 9 or 10). And her parents are both in the business. If she doesn’t know how to act, then may be she should have acting lessons. JMO!
Yes I like both ROB AND KRISTEN! But the books and movie Edward and Bella had so much more excitement and pulled you in. I still love the first Twilight better than the others because that was the first one I saw and what made me read the books in the first place. All I can say is I hope like hell they don’t butcher Breaking Dawn!!! Just bring it!!! Hell their audience is getting older and we want to see Edward loosen up and see Bella act like she did in the first one, like SHE could tear HIM to shreds. That what this book series is about! ROMANCE DAMMIT LOL

I don’t think he’d need too many lessons. He’s been acting with A list stars for the past 6 months. Uma Thurman on Bel Ami, and Reese Witherspoon and Christoph Waltz, (both Oscar winners) in Water For Elephants! There’s no better way of learning to do a job than learning on the job from people who know what they are doing.

The way Kristen protrays Bella is exactly how i saw Bella when i read the books. So id say she does excellent! Although the last movie was a big disapointment because of stuff it left out but thats not her fault. The scene play was badly written, but Kristen could have shown and acted above average. She displayed no emotions. Kristen had the same reaction when she was sad, happy, overjoyed, and sexually happy. She was like over soaked cereal: like blah.

Yeah, of course it had great results! That’s why it was only #1 at the US box office for 1 week, and the same in the UK! After all the hype surrounding Eclipse, it actually did worse than Summit had been hoping for. Therefore it was a failure!

Kristen, The books don’t go years into the future. I can tell she has not gotten the books or Bella at all. It goes from the end of Eclipse where Edward writes to Jacob telling him that he (Edward) will take care of Bella. Cut to Breaking Dawn and the wedding. That is over the course of several months, not really years. I know that they may spread it out that way but she doesn’t do the books any justice. I don’t care who likes Kristen, who hates Kristen, who is team this or that. I care about the books. The writing. Ink on paper. And how horridly they portrayed Edward & Bella! Kristen, let us put aside your malcontent, your God complex, your less than adequate, horrid thespianship, and your disingenuous apologies. You took Bella Swan and turned her into a shadow of who you are in your real life, not who Bella was in the books. It’s easy to fool young minds that will take what they can get, but not the older fans who have a sharp eye and keen mind. You were the worst thing that could have happened to the role of Bella Swan. I am not hating on Kristen, but stating facts. She lacks so much on screen and in person that I don’t know how anyone in their right and sound mind can feel safe and right in calling her the best person for the role! This shouldn’t be about Kristen and Robert. Ego and selfish pride should have been left at the door when the film started rolling. Kristen, you and Robert where given a golden ticket to bring these two to life on screen. I like Kristen’s ability to play different characters so well, and I loved her performance in The Runaways. She should not care so much what fans think, although hundreds love her, and just do it for the sake of being an artist, for the enjoyment she gets out of her out. The Twilight series will be done eventually, and then she will have a ton of new projects to chose from. That’s the great part about being a really good actress like her.
The only character she has the ability to play is herself. She is not a good actress at all, because she never changes her facial expressions and always bites her lip!
Have you not see The Runaways, because honestly definitely proves the girl can act, did you ever think it’s the fact that Bella is in herself such a flat pointless, representation of femininity. Having read all the books, and gods how I managed that i don’t know, but having read them I can safely say, that it’s not the fault of the actress. She is simply performing the role in the way she thinks it makes sense to play. I get that for some reason these books have apparently become somehow a groundbreaking series to all of you, but honestly they just aren’t that good, and the story is hardly original.
