DANIEL Radcliffe really is trying to move on from Harry Potter!

The actor — who played the titular boy wizard in the smash hit movie franchise — is reportedly in talks to star in comedy horror movie Jay And Seth Vs The Apocalypse.

Knocked Up star Seth Rogen and The Sorcerer’s Apprentice actor Jay Baruchel are remaking the short they made in film school for the big screen — and Radcliffe is said to have asked to audition for the lead role.

“Daniel Radcliffe is keen to get involved,” a source said.

A spokeswoman for Daniel said, “Daniel is confirmed to star in Hammer Films’ forthcoming feature The Woman in Black which films this autumn and then in 2011 he will transfer to Broadway to star in the musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying. He has no other firm commitments beyond this point at this time.”

Dan, 21, recently revealed that keeping busy with other projects stops him moping around about the end of Harry Potter.

“Working is how I will best get through a very weird time,” he said.

“I know it’s the most constructive thing I can do because otherwise I’d be moping around and being a bit like, ‘Oh, I miss everyone’.

“So I’m quite pleased to go on to the next thing and the next challenge.”
