CHERYL Cole might be getting married again!

The British singer and X Factor judge — who’s recovering from malaria and officially filed for divorce from her husband, soccer star Ashley Cole, in May 2010 — will be getting a proposal from rumored love interest Derek Hough, a dancer.

According to a report in trashy UK tabloid The People, Hough is planning to make the millionaire pop beauty his wife.

“Derek would marry Cheryl tomorrow,” a source told the rag. “The only reason he hasn’t pushed it is because shes so recently split from Ashley. But when the times right, within a year he thinks, hell ask her.

“Derek was smitten with Cheryl before she got sick with malaria, but now his feelings are much stronger.

“He told me how he couldn’t bear to leave her side when she was ill.

“He has been emailing progress reports every day to Cheryl’s mum. She approves of him much more than she did Ashley.

“Derek has written a diet plan for Cheryl and is making sure she eats properly. Its based on a high-protein diet he learned when he was at Italia Conti stage school in London.

“Derek gave a her locket he found at a flea market. It’s very old and has two black and white pictures of an unknown couple.

“Cheryl was apparently overwhelmed with it. They’ve both felt there is a sense of destiny about this relationship so it was a touching gift. They feel so bonded after her ordeal with malaria.

“Presumably she has had big diamonds before but for someone to select such a personal gift is something else.”
