Robert Pattinson Ruined Zac Efron’s Career?

Robert PattinsonROBERT Pattinson has been accused of ruining Zac Efron‘s career!

The hunky Twilight star has apparently replaced Efron — whose new movie Charlie St. Cloud bombed at the box office — as the “king” of screaming girls.

“Robert is the new King of all the screaming girls at this moment and they have forgotten Zac. You only need to look at this year’s recent MTV Movie Awards, when Zac entered the girls were excited but when Robert walked in the place went nuts,” relationship expert Matt Titus told the PopEater website.

“Twilight has changed everything and Robert Pattison gets it. He says nothing, and acts mysteriously. This is what teenage girls really want right now.”

“Hollywood only cares about making money,” added one Hollywood insider. “We honestly don’t care if Zac is singing ‘Hello Dolly’ or playing a vampire, as long as he sells tickets.

“That fact that Charlie St. Cloud dropped a whopping 60% in its second week following a very mediocre opening tells me Zac should speak less, smile more and take off as much clothing as possible. Or else he will end up like countless other pinup popcorn actors and actresses that decided that they all of a sudden wanted to be taken seriously.”

Reports in June claimed the High School Musical star was furious that the hunky British actor was the center of attention at MTV’s Movie Awards.

“Zac couldn’t believe the amount of attention Robert got at the MTV Movie Awards,” a source said at the time.

“It was only yesterday that Zac was Hollywood’s golden boy, enjoying making young girls scream. That didn’t happen this year. All the girls wanted Robert and barely even noticed Zac.

“What makes matters worse is that Zac just doesn’t understand Robert’s appeal. He is everything Zac isn’t. Robert looks like a homeless person. And don’t get Zac started on Robert’s messy hair.

“Zac is defiantly on Team Taylor Lautner. At least he uses moisturizer.”

    I don’t think Rob ruined Zacs career in any way.They are cute in two different ways.Zac is cute in the boyish way adn Rob is cute in ruggedly handsome ways.It just depends on which type of cuteness you prefer.There are parts that Rob won’t be able to play and there are parts that Zac wont be able to play.I don’t think Rob could play the lead in Zacs new movie and I don’t think Zac could carry off the role of Edward Cullen.

    This is a load of crap, like seriously, Zac is still is and always has been wayyyyyyy better than rob. At Mall of America, 7000 peopls (primarily girls) came out to see him, a crowd that set the record for biggest crowd drawn by one person. And Charlie St. Cloud did wayyyy better than robs remember me, so what then? People are not in love with rob pattinson, their in love with edward cullen, HUGEEE difference. Atleast people like Zac for Zac, not a character.

We older fans def. know the difference between his characters and the REAL DEAL! We def. LOVE the REAL ROBERT, not the Fictional Characters that he protrays.     Oh please I have been saying this for some time now… Didn’t I just go on not too long ago about how Zac is trying to be like Rob???? How he now runs his hands through his NEW MESSY HAIRDO…. A poor interpretaion of Robs hair. Zac should just have left it alone. There is no one as sexy as Rob right now. No one. And his fan base is everyone from young girls to old women. And I mean old women. Women in the 70′s and 80′s have tried to get his autograph! That’s insane. He souldn’t be jealous…there are obviously some girls left who like him as you could see from that mall event…But he doesn’t have the ladies camping out at his movie sets just to get a glimpse of him. Rob has more than just good looks on his side, he’s a gentlemen yet, he has a sneaky/fun side to him too. not to mention look at his movie choices. I can’t wait to see Bel Ami and WFE. Seventeen was a mistake for Zac…it kept the older fan base from really seeing his good looks. He needs to stop playing the teenager. The other advantage with Rob is he does play a Vampire who is 109 years old from 1918 when men still had manners and treated women with great respect. Women miss that. It’s part of his character appeal. Rob also scored huge points with is interview with Leno indicating he has a romantic side. Rob’s dad is obviously doing a great job on instructing him.

      Carla, I so agree with everything you just said. Way to go. Robert is the REAL DEAL! If only everyone in Hollywood would take pointers from him. But, then I wouldn’t want that either. Because that is what make him “OUR ROBERT” he is the genuine article. No one will ever take his place in our hearts or on film. He is one of a kind. They don’t make them better than him.

    I love that British Charm he has…what can I say, I’m a 44 year old woman totally hooked on this young actor/musician. Zac can still have a great career as long as he doesn’t get pissy about not having the same fan base as before. Look at Leonardo, or Johnny Depp..be known for your acting Zac not just your looks and things will go your way. No every movie will be a hit. Oh, don’t copy other actors styles. create your own look.

      Robert is def. got the British Charm going on. I love his accent, his manners and personality. He is so humble and honest and sincere all the time. His parents sure did raise a GREAT Man….I am a 36 year old hooked on this Actor/Musician as well, I think he would be surprised at how many older women are just as crazy for him as these teenagers. I honestly can’t wait to see all his movies and follow him for years to come. WE LOVE YOU, ROBERT!!!!! GOD BLESS You and your career. ;)

    If ZE career is ruined, he’ll have done it all by himself. I seriously doubt he’s too worried. I will say this, at least he has an honest relationship. He hasn’t been hiding his gf for the last couple years. I adore R, for everything he’s ever done, but the “are they, aren’t they” needs to stop. Its so very very tired.

    every 50 years someone comes along who becomes the IT guy. robert pattinson is that guy. there is no one else out there that the ladies want. and i mean ALL the ladies. he is everyones son,grandson,brother,boyfriend,friend,lover,and husband.

    the twilight saga helped put him in the limelight. but once he was there you’d have to be an idiot not to see that the man is exceptionally charismatic on the screen and off.

    intellegent, charming, whitty, modest, an extreemly talented thespian and musician, and above all….INTERESTING!

    he has a natural draw that keeps pulling you back to see more of what he is capible of portraying on screen, what character will he attempt next and will he succeed.

    he becomes his character so comepletely that the movie goer feels one with him. you live, feel, and breath what he does. that is an amazing acheivement from one so young.

    he is not a pretty face. he is every ones man! a man for all seasons.

    Rob is gorgeous. He also comes across as down to earth and nice. i am beyond my teens and I find Rob very attractive and think he is talented.
    He is not responsible for ruining Zac’s career that is crazy. i have nothing against Zac but i love Rob. Rob also seems very intelligent and has made good post Twilight choices.

      I agree Carla. You either have it or you don’t and Robert def. has the it factor. Robert was Gorgeous before all the Twilight. He was the scene stealer in Harry Potter, he would have def. taken over that franchise as well if they wouldn’t have killed him off.
      Zac is young boy cute.. like Taylor Launter…. But, Rob is a Gorgeous MAN! There is no comparison. Robert, even if he didn’t play Edward Cullen would have made it because he is such a amazingly talented Actor. It would have been a matter of time before he would have been discovered playing a different role.
      He would still be the “IT GUY” no matter what part got him started.

    Agree with the ladies. I’m 42 yo with a great husband, 2 kids and a great career. What does Robert has that atracks is beyond me. He really is extraordinary. I used to crush on Leo Dicaprio, but this is totally different. BTW nothing against ZE. He is just not my type.

    Nothing against Zac but I have to totally agree with everyone who supports Rob. We are not talking about just good looks here. Yes, Rob is gorgeous but he doesn’t always take a good photo. He’s so unhollywood that it is refreshing. I’m so glad Kristen and Catherine Hardwick chosed him for the role of Edward. There may be other better looking actors out there who could carry off the ‘beautiful perfect looking vampire’ but not many would have been able play that role as well as Rob. LULU said it best.As Chris Weitz once said, it’s not easy to play a 109 year old vampire but Rob nailed it. And CARLA was right. He won the hearts of everyone who watched Jay Leno. I mean, c’mon, how many young actors out there who still cherishes the text messages that their dads sent them. Rob has great parents and it shows in how he carries himself.
    It upset me to watch the footage of Rob being ‘harrassed’ by the paparazzi in July, who didn’t even leave him alone when he had asked so nicely. I hope he knows that his fans truly do adore and respect him. We love the fact that he doesn’t go seeking for attention or publicity. If he was that kind of person, I probably wouldn’t have been a fan no matter how good looking he is. Just leave him be, let him continue to do what he does best so that we can get to see more of him and his works. There! Enough said.

    “TCA/Robsten Fix: The Ultimate Drug” Part II-Final

    TCA Review:
    Can we say ten-foot pole? Yes, Fox kept it measured no overdose on R, Robsten or TW stuff. Unlike some studio we know. I thought TL did a great job accepting his awards. Hmm! No mention of WFE? But I guess that would have been inappropriate and not appreciated by Summit given how much they paid Fox. I mean they already agreed to keep KStew away. Oh! Well……….

    Yes! The show was contrived but what do u expect for teens. However, R, Ashley, TL looked very relaxed and supportive of each other. Very nice to see……….Oh! R loved the clothes not distracting from u, R I know u are not a materialistic person but u did good a job. Great color by the way!

    Did u see all the commercial advertisement for the Vampire Sucks movie? It was also a subtle theme of the show………what a sly FOX u are! LOL!!!

    Great job R! Now u can relax finally……….Don’t even think about work, fans demands, just WHITE NOISE!!!!! From here on out…=0)

    FYI: Oh! In case people want to hate on R for his success without K. Well let’s just say I hear R is the number one actor fans want to see at the next Comic Con. A lot male and female fans their R………Hmmm! Just thought u should know, no pressure or anything.=0)

      I’m on my way to calling it a night but was hoping to catch you and get your take on a couple of things. I agree, the show was VERY contrived, and I’m confused at TL winning ALL awards he was in competition with Rob. Is that because they are trying to separate him from the Teen fanbase only? If so, why have him attend the awards?
      Also, did you notice Nikki Reed’s demeanor? She was not a happy girl. And during photos; even though Nikki was sitting next to Ashley, all were taken of Ashley,Rob, and Taylor. I mean, isn’t NR considered as much of the main cast as AG?
      Rob did look good, and very relaxed. A bit tired to be honest. It was nice to see him actually interacting with other members of the cast instead of shying away from any one on one conversation. So, a good night all in all. :D Just wanted to get your take on things.

        Hi D,

        R has a huge adult fan base and mid-size teen fan base. Therefore Fox wanted to capitalize by having R their to appeal to the teen and adult viewing audiences. Fox and R are not about over saturation, so they kept R’s appearances short and sweet and PERFECT!!! Yes, Fox is trying to distance R to attract more mature consumers. So yeah, that is why TL won the awards over R.

        Oh! And no comment on NR……….Sorry!

        Fox had R attend the TCA to get a wider and more mature viewing audience to watch the show. They knew Teen’s were going to tune in to watch the show but R’s fan base is mostly adults so they wanted to capitalize on that.

        IMO, NR is not over Rob from what I have read of comments. I have seen the photos of them that were leaked from her pc. They are both young and I’m sure that NR fell very hard for him. Who wouldn’t?

        Its going to take her a while to get completely over him. Working with him makes it harder for her i’m sure.
        Even though she dated Paris Latsis for a while and credits him with helping her. IMO, its hard to watch someone you cared for very much to move on.

    Lulu said it all for us. Rob is WAY BEYOND being just beautiful. He has such a great skill and pure talent that he doesn’t just shine, but he burns at the roles he plays. He is not loved because of Edward alone but for being such a completely modest, humble, dedicated and self deprecating actor and person.

    Open Book – I agree about the awards however I didn’t like the fact that Rob won 5 awards and we only saw him accept 2 awards and he was rushed both times. However,I am glad they showed him winning for Remeber Me. The catagory was fierce! I mean some of those actors were totally intense and the films they were in are great as well so for him to win like that is refreshing. I would have liked to see him win the best lip lock to see what he would say not having Kstew there…but oh well..It was so much more relaxed. I like Katy Perry as well. She is a huge Robert Pattinson fan..she absolutely adores him and admitted she is team Edward. Her boy toy Russell Brand is too. LOL.

    Every few years there is a new hit boy. Teens grow up and move on. Zac will be fine. Just like Rob will do fine. I did watch the TCA this night. I never watch awards like these simply for the fact that I find most teens weird and silly. But the 2010 TCA’s was done very well. Nothing like the horrid mess that was the MTV Movie awards! With Kristen S. not being there, there was no awkwardness nor was there any cussing! A plus! I was so very happy to see that everyone got a chance to play in the sandbox this year! Speaking of: Congrats to the cast of TVD! Nina and Ian are fantastic! It wasn’t all about Twilight this time and I think more of that is needed! People are growing tired of the same people (who are not thankful for it!) winning over and over again. I did think Rob acted very Kristen-like when taking the stange on his win for RM. He seemed to be rushing through it and a bit awkward like he didn’t want to be there. But he did great the rest of the night! Other than that it was a great show! Katy Perry was a doll. Ashley green looked beautiful. Everyone from TVD cast to Glee looked spot on! One thing I will say about NR- that girl is sad. I’m not a cry over everything girl but Nikki broke my heart! I know the rumors of what Kristen did to her and I think there is something there. The way she looks at him, (rob) well I don’t want to start rumors but I have always thought she loves him. Something in her eyes. Just wanted to put that out there. I feel for Nikki Reed. Kristen Stewart has never looked at Robert the way that Nikki has! Robert, you would do well to find someone who looks at you with so much emotion. Not someone who flips you off and makes fun of you! But that is just my thoughts on it all. Before the Kristen fans start on me; I am not a NR fan, not a Robert fan. I stand somewhere on the outside looking in. Maybe that helps. I just know what I see. With Nikki I see a girl who cares a lot about that young man. Written all over her face! Thanks for reading =)

      ITA: MTV movie awards was a complete mess and DC for K. Yes! K’s behavior and style of acting is not good for any artist trying to create a brand or long term career for him or herself because it puts so many limitations on what roles they can play. Not good!

      I agree! Funny how you remove Shrew from an event and all awkwardness seems to go along with her. :)
      And, I thought his acceptance ‘speeches’ were odd as well. I guess I don’t understand why it is difficutlt for him OR Shrew to stand up-right and properly thank the fans. Taylor really did an amazing job – each time. I thought it was adorable when he thanked his smile coach, and smile trainer. I’m not a huge TL fan, but that did make me giggle.
      AG looked stunning – and she seemed to take control for the night. And, honestly, I’m glad someone did because that was wierd when the entire cast was onstage. And poor Nikki. That was just awful. Seriously. How much pain does she have to be suffering for her to show it to the whole world like that? I felt so badly for her.

I’m not sure if you have seen this video footage of Ian Somerhalder & Nina Dobrev of the Alloy Entertainment production The Vampire Diaries but it shows him giving her a quick peck on the cheek when they were leaving LAX on the 9th August 2010 after appearing with co-stars Paul Wesley & Katrina Graham at the 2010 Teen Choice Awards on the 8th August 2010 & I’m not sure why gossip site Popsugar (the semi pro Robsten one) are saying that they’re a couple the kiss wasn’t exactly on the lips & she did look a bit surprised or confused by it too & for fuck sake we simply don’t need this again do we & can’t co-stars simply be good friends so this brings me to RPatz the paparazzi were all over LAX post 2010 Teen Choice Awards so if he left they would have caught him on camera & also be able to tell what flight he was on too

        Why wouldn’t Summit be happy campers after the awards? Didn’t they get exactly what they paid all that money for? Fox promoted their films, their stars, in return, Rob was promoted for RM and Shrew stayed away. Which speaks volumes – as SHE is the one at a closer age to the teens and she had several nominations herself. I realize she is filming – but hasnt began yet and studios always allow for time for those types of things.

    OKay, I agree TCA was much more relaxing but I didn’t think Rob did a bad job… the problem was the crowd would never shut up to let him talk..the whole time they were screaming while he was talking. Plus it’s the show that rushes the actors off the stage for time restraints. They didn’t even show half of the awards handed out. Best Lip Lock, Best Chemistry, Best fantasy Actor for Eclipse…etc.. Plus I’m sorry… Taylor did a sh..t job..first time he just handed it over to the other Best Hottie winner to give the speech instead. And what..he just said thanks on the second and made up some stupid thing for the best smile that made him look like an idiot. At least Rob pointed out he was happy to win something outside of Twilight. And what does Tomstu being in Montreal have to do with Rob? I would think that the obvious conclusion is that would mean maybe Tomstu is her boytoy and not Rob. Just because his best friend went there doesn’t mean Rob will follow. If Rob was smart he would go home to the UK. I’ve never seen him so happy at an award show.

    As far as Zac, well I said it last night and in the past… he’s trying to hard to be like Rob. Changing his hair for the messy look doesn’t look right on him and takes away from his face and eyes. Constantly running his hands through his hair like Rob gives him even more of a copy cat persona. Charlie St. Cloud looked like it would be a good movie but too depressing for me. It hasn’t even made it’s money back in sales yet… they spent 44 million on it and it’s only grossed 24million or a bit more. He’ll get more chances to get it right and he will have a good career but he needs to find his nitch.

      I’m sorry, Carla. But, I disagree. I think Taylor did an GREAT job. Much better than Rob (whom I adore). But, Rob mumbled through his thanks and you could barely understand what he was thinking. Taylor came across as funny, and very appreciative. He didn’t just say ‘thanks’ on his second award – he said there were no words he could think of to thank the fans enough.
      I get that you don’t like him, and like I said, I adore Robert- but I think we have to give credit where credit is due. And, Taylor did a nice job and looked more impressed to be there than Rob. I thought his comments about ‘best smile’ were cute. Just MO though.

        According to a post a couple of weeks ago, LULU said her friend had seen Shrew being very cozy and “more than friends” with a guy in a bar in Montreal, and it wasn’t Rob. There was a photo sent to her by her friend and she didn’t recognise the guy in the photo. It could have beem Tom. He’s not that well known comapred to Garrett!

        Actually Tom was there with KStew may have the following reasons: 1) Tom has a small part to play in On The Road, so he was there and hanging out with the casts; 2) He was there because Rob was there, who was hiding as well as KStew did in Budapest; 3) There is sth going on btw Tom and KStew but I’m not convinced, because during the times apart between Rob and KStew, Tom always stay with Rob rather than go to KStew who was in another country.

        I hope no.1 is the reason he was there. I don’t think Tom and KStew are that best buddies that Tom would fly all the way to Montreal to see her, so either Rob was there as well or Tom was there only work related. If Rob is using Tom as a shield to hide his romance, then he is retard.

        Why couldn’t Tom be with Shrew? He was seen and papped coming out of a concert with her and taking her back to HIS hotel. Rob wasn’t there because he was working on WFE that night. And she wasn’t staying at the hotel as she could have gone home to the house where she normally lives!

        Hi Vam Nerd Girl. As I said before, during their times apart where Rob was in A country and Stew was in B country, Tom always stay with Rob. So it is clear and loud that they are not an item. The concert thing only happen once, rite? no PDA btw them, rite? They went to the hotel where Tom was staying, but you don’t know there maybe other people were waiting for them to hang out, rite? I just need more proofs just as R’sten to prove they are an item. I don’t want to be one trick mind to think they are or they aren’t. just being objective

    Okay something is wrong with this picture….Gabriel Liotta is saying on the web site (which RobertPattinsononline noted as well) that Unbound Captives is to start filming in December 2010! How can that be when Rob will be just starting to film a 6 month production of Breaking Dawn. I don’t think he can do two things at once. I think someone needs to update their schedule Gabriel. Rob indicated they were supposed to start sometime after Breaking Dawn production is finished. Maybe December 2011?

I’ve wanted to believe in Rob but it is getting very difficult to continue supporting him when all of the lies and manipulations continue. The fans of Rob, the fans of Kristen…the nonstens, the robstens, NO ONE deserves to be lied to and deceived over and over again by these two.
    I really, REALLY want to enjoy Rob, and want his career to soar, however; I can’t continue to support him if he turns out to be nothing but a liar who enjoys laughing at his fans because they adore him.
    I AM a true fan of Rob’s. But, I’m just getting tired of being played for a fool. Just spill it already.

But, as time has passed, the fans have grown older, the fanbase has expanded to include older and wiser people – and they aren’t dealing with the same types of people they were dealing with 2 years ago who like to play these playground games. I hope Summit is taking this into consideration. Or that Rob’s people are factoring this in as well. It’s not just the teen/tween audience they are jerking around anymore, and they could really do serious damage to the careers of these two. Or, they could be doing the damage themselves. Who really knows at this point in the game.

      I remember seeing a comment left by some person on another showbiz board recently saying that Rob is playing all his fans for a fool.This person also said that soon we will be very suprised when something comes out or happens.This person didn’t go into detail about this surprise but that we will all be shocked when it happens.I don’t know if this person meant the fans will be happy or upset by this surprise.

      On some other gossip board awhile ago they were hinting that something big is going to go down with the wedding scene when it is filmed in Breaking Dawn.I don’t know what that is supposed to mean but I think its just a bunch of prsten crap to help sell Breaking Dawn since Eclispe wasn’t as successful as they had hoped.

    Why are you all buying into the ASSUMPTION that Rob will follow TOMSTU. Really? Just because he is in Montreal doesn’t mean Rob will follow. How many times does Rob have to say he is single before anyone gets it! Just because now and again, you see a pic of he and Kristen out at a concert or gig, doesn’t mean they are together. They are friends who enjoy music and I go out with my friends to gigs too. You never see intimate momments between them, in fact often they don’t even touch. Whereas the pic of Tomstu and Kristen would indicate more between them than with Rob so WHATS UP WITH THAT? Why aren’t people wondering if they are together rather than Rob?

    Until you hear it from Rob, don’t buy into the hype. Summit isn’t doing it, no one but the fans are buying into this BS. Tomstu going to Montreal does Summit no good and in fact tomstu doesn’t work for Summit so why assume anything. I just don’t get it. They are just friends. Don’t give up on Rob just because a picture that he wasn’t even in shows up with Kristen and Rob’s best friend.

      Well, I would have to say his non-good moments would be how he is still so obviously uncomfortable in unscripted environments. It would actually be quite nice to see him stand up in front of a crowd without getting giggly and extend proper gratitude. Even if it is just a simple coherent ‘thank you.’
      My heart still belongs to him, but I think he should take a public speaking class perhaps.

He was rushed up there and rushed off and he did extend a proper thank you and if you didn’t notice he was the only one who was brave enough to speak up besides Ashely when the whole crew was up there.. he tried to get taylor in on it but taylor refused to step forward. He say thank you several times…gosh…does everything always have to be so damn prim and proper. It’s a casual show and no one accepting awards said anything but Thank You, so why does Rob have to be so different? I think some people expect WAY too much from him. I think he has come a long way with appearing in public and as far as those who WISH he had a bad time…I don’t think I’ve seen him that HAPPY in a long time…sorry to burst your bubble but it’s the truth. Anyone who has seen the photos clearly sees rob smiling and talking to Ashley and Taylor. The wolf pack behind him though weren’t too excited in fact they looked bored, but Rob, Ashely and Taylor had a great time no thanks to Kstew. Sorry to disappoint Kstew fans… but GET OVER IT!

    Sorry Shadow I guess we have to agree to disagree… he just looked like he was having a great time.. when he tried to speak the crowd was so loud that you couldn’t hear him and then he lost track of his thought..doesn’t mean he’s high…just rushed…because they have people there to hurry the speeches along..there is an employee there or producer …with a hand in the air saying to wrap it up… I didn’t expect a long speech just a thank you just like Taylor said… that’s all he said and no one says anything about that. I have no problems with rob’s behavior last night. I was pleased to see him smile and ..did anyone notice the slap on taylors knee when rob won for best Drama…he was so happy! He gave a happy slap to Taylor…I thought that was great! This was an ultra casual event and none of the acceptance speeches were great. i think Sandra bullock was the only creative one there, then she is what…40 and he’s 24 so I will give him some slack on that. In time he will get better at his speeches.

    sorry ash…we don’t hate Zac..but I’m not impressed with is copy-cat ways. I hate his new hair..he tries to copy rob on his mannerisms as well…stroking his hand through his hair, giving the camara “the Rob look” only Rob has that look and pulls it off. I like Zac and I think he will be great in Romantic Comedy movies but he needs to be himself.

    RVD- I’m not mad and I’m sorry if you got that impression..I was just trying to ask people to give him a break. But at the end..he wanted the cast to share in the glory of winning as he already won 5 awards and some of them didn’t win at all so I’m sure he thought they would want to say something. but of course Ashely in her wisdom new who the crowd really wanted to see…Rob. Damn he is so hot! Anyways..you’re right ..he’s not perfect and we all love him, and believe me I know you are not a Kstew fan…. LOL. It would be okay if you were, I wouldn’t judge… I personally don’t think she is all that talented but I don’t hate her either.

    Ashleigh-on the job frount you should contact the station manager or human resources at all the tv stations in whatever cities that you are interested in here in the US by email and see if they have any job openings in any area.You may have to start at the bottom as preparing the set for the news or another entry level job.I know that would stink especially since you have a degree but its a start.

    IMO: Summit did not get what they paid for on the TCA last night. NO! ROBSTEN!

    Instead R got to promote how great it was to win something outside of TW.
    Meaning NO ROBSTEN. Also, did u notice how R did not want to speak for the TW cast when accepting the TW award can we say “TEN FOOT POLE.” R nor Fox want to attach themselves to Summits TITANIC! The whole TCA had a subtle theme of Vampires Sucks throughout. Also, the biggest advertisers for TCA was Vampires Sucks and Fox called the shots for that!!!! So, no Summit are “Not Happy Campers”……..

      I think everyone is agreed that the timing of the release of the the photo reeks of manipulation. However the evidence from the link Open Book, in my opinion, cannot be deemed as reliable as it is just someones statement and there are no photos. And I can’t believe KS allowed anyone to touch her hair!!

    I’ve been away for awhile on vacation in Florida. We went to Universal Studios on Monday and saw the Harry Potter stuff, that was great but the rest of the park didn’t impress me. I guess I’m a Disney girl at heart.

    I looked all over the Harry Potter area and found nothing Cederic, to bad because I would have bought something.

    Anyway Open Book, here is a question for you. While leaving Universal Studios they have this entertainment area (clubs, restaurants, and stores) and what do I find but a vendor selling Twilight Merchandise (New Moon and Eclipse) but Summit owns Twilight not Universal, so why would they be selling Twilight merchandise at Universal Studios?

      Nice to have u back. Did u have fun!!!!! This is very common especially with Universal Studios. US will pay studios like Summit etc… to feature there merchandise. It’s more of a franchise deal. Summit gets to control how TW is featured etc….

      Yeah! I’m a Disney Girl to…………. Although, the original in Anaheim, CA! It’s a family tradition. I come from a large family, so my sisters brothers and I make it a point to go every year if possible. It’s quite a problem=0) LOL!! I’m a fan of wooden roller coasters love the Giant Dipper in Santa Cruz, CA. Don’t get me started, this is a bad idea……o.k. enough of me!

      That is very interesting, but understand. Anything to make a buck and since Twilight is such a hot seller, US would be smart to get a piece of it.

      I’m still on vacation, it just rained yesterday all day, so that’s why I was on. Today, I was at the beach all day and got a little red, okay a lot of red.

      I love Disney and have been three times to Disney World, I would love to see the others some day.

      Not a big fan of roller coasters but I usually go on them to make my hubby happy, I thought that is why I had sons so they could go on the roller coasters ;) but neither is a fan either.

      But I have to say my fav is space mountain (its because its all dark and I usually close my eyes on roller coaster, this one I can keep them open) but the Harry Potter coaster wasn’t to bad.

    I love Disney too…I used to live In Garden Grove which is the next city over from Anaheim, CA. I could step out on my porch and watch the fireworks show every evening in the summer.. it was great! I live a bit farther away now in LA county and our trips to Disney are limited to maybe 5 times a year, even getting in free from friends or family it gets very expensive. especially when my 8 year old wants to bring home tokens from the trip.

    We’ve stayed at the Disney Hotel for a weekend a few times even though we are driving distance …it is so much more fun because if you get tired you just go back to the hotel take a nap or relax then go back out later or park hop to California Adventure. I highly recommend it.

    Doesn’t it seem strange that he was casted so late in prodcution? There was no mention of his being in the movie prior. Usually they have all casting done before they begin production. Somethings not right with that picture. Sorry KS but if they are messing around like that so bad that they don’t have a cast before they begin prodcution I would hate to see how much of a mess that movie is going to be.

      Does anyone know who was supposed to take the role originally.Since they are just casting that role now it makes me wonder if someone didn’t backout of the role.I wonder why that person backed out if that is what happened?Nikki reed backed out of the movie about jail that kristens mom was supposed to direct and that was after they decided to list Kristen as the producer.Its very interesting that all this is happening.Haven’t anyone else noticed that no one ever backs out of any movies that Kellan or Rob or the other do.It only happens when KS is a part of it.

Edward Cullen is a character Rob played and perfected but he is not Edward and we are all well aware of that. I wish people would get off the whole assumption that anyone who likes Robert Pattinson is in Love with Edward Cullen. Really… who needs the reality check here? I would say it’s you. Your probably just pissed off they didn’t come to Comicon.

    Oh, and for the record if Rob was such a bad actor then people wouldn’t have accepted him as Edward Cullen to begin with. A world wide phenom happened instead and frankly Twilight took off because of him. Not just his looks but because he was able to properly portray Edward Cullen in the movie. And he was great as Cedric Diggory, he was great in the Haunted Airman, he was FABULOUS in Little Ashes as Salvador Dali and he was fantastic in Remember Me. Believe me he would not be playing Jacob in Water for Elephants if the Director didn’t have confidence in him as an actor. there are many other actors they could have hired that would bring in the crowds. The book WFE had a name already and was widely respected and anticipated just like Twilight. Look out for another Mega-hit and possible Oscar Nomination.

    I just recently saw “The Haunted Airman”, another unexpected ending, but my goodness he was so good in that movie. So different from “Twilight”.

    I thought he was great in Twilight, but you are right he was very different in Haunted Airman because he was playing a different character.. he was awesome! That’s what I’ve been trying to tell people. I don’t understand why people think he wasn’t good in Twilight. Edward is a complex character to play, not just brooding but kind and lonely, loving yet possessive and jealous all at the same time. I doubt there is an actor out there that could have played Edward better. Rob has made Edward his own and frankly I couldn’t picture anyone else playing that role. That is the sign of a great actor. In the Haunted Airman, Rob played that brilliantly…it’s not easy to play a handicapped young man in a scary situation where he can do for himself. That bathtub scene was intense. Imagine how brave he was to be in that other bathtub scene as well where the nurse is giving him a bath. He had to put all of his shyness away for that role. Not to mention Little Ashes…a straight man playing a crazy yet talented man exploring love with another man isn’t easy either… the roles he plays are challenging. He really pushes himself. Unbound Captives is going to be one of the most challenging because he doesn’t speak much English in that one.

    I agree with everything you said about the Haunted Airman. I even liked him in the Bad Mother’s Handbook; he was so cute in that one. I liked him in Twilight and New Moon. I just didn’t like what the director and the script writer did with his character in Eclipse. It has nothing to do with his acting, because as we all know he can really act. I just wish they had stayed true to characterizations and romance of the book.

    I think it is only natural for RP to go to Montreal to visit Kristen, his girlfriend for 15 months. He gets to see his friend ,an added bonus. I think it’s great Tom has a part in Kristen’s movie. They are clearly good friends and maybe Kristen had a hand in getting him in the movie.     I think we should all wait untill the twilight phenomina has settled and then we can compare these two on how long their careers will be.I don’t know how much Zac gets paid per picture put Rob is getting paid $25 million for the last one(since its a two parter that is about $17.5 million per part one and 2 if my math is correct).I hope that Rob has a long career in different areas like theater,tv and etc just like his contryman Daniel Radcliffe.I see Daniel Radcliffe having a long career either doing theater,movies or behind the camera.Daniel got paid $25 million per movie from the first movie on.

    Katie- Dan didn’t get 25m the first couple of movies..even Emma and Rupert were only paid 5million for the first couple of movies. However, after that they were paid very well. Rob isn’t just getting 25million for the movie he’s getting 8% of the Gross of the film. which means approximately 41 million. Anyways…you are right ..I hope that Daniel does well too.. But Rob is already doing well outside of Twilight. I think he is in store for a long and wonderful career. Zac unfortunately started out as a Disney kid…it’s often too hard for them to be taken seriously or for serious roles after working for Disney in musicals or comedy. So, it may take him a bit longer. That picture of Dan Radcliff was HORRIBLE on the cover of OUT magazine. Poor guy. Oh, you guys should see the beautiful blue eyes that Rob shows off in a pic on Robsessed..you can’t miss it. As soon as I pulled the screen up his eyes were staring right at me. MELTING! His eyes are a lovely blue.

    Are there any pics of him and Kristen???? Or just Him on “A Set Of A Movie”. ????? Ok, still does not seem he went there for her also did she once visit him on the set of WFE. Sure she was promoting Eclipse but I read that at some point she was in LA and she never once paid him a visit. These pics still do not proove anything plus his best friend Tom was there. He could have been there for him. Kristen and Rob have been apart for so long, there is not way there is love there. Sorry Sheep LMAO.

    Robert Pattinson has no acting chops. He is running on the FUMES OF EDWARD IN TWILIGHT AND ALL THE LITTLE GIRLS AND THEIR MOMMIES ARE VOTING FOR HIM WHENEVER HE POPS UP. He has not made a hit movie on his own since he went off by himself. They were pretty much bombs, no matter what hype the medisa tried to spin on that. I saw a few of his films…who the heck is picking out these lemons for him? What bothers me is he can’t even accept an award without acting like the jerk he is, nice jerk, whatever, still a jerk and definitley can’t handle a real sex scene. hmmmmm.

    ADRIENNE: Very Cool! I agree with you all around. For the movies he’s done on his own, what nut jobs are making sure he wins Five Awards at the TCA. He is not an epic actor. In Remember me, the part when Emile De Ravin’s character leaves him, he didn’t even make it like he wanted her to stay, there was no convinction behind it. He had not umphhhhhh (if that’s the way you spell it), he cannot act, and that’s that. This dude needs to take a back seat for a bit and well leave up to the actors that can act LMAO.

    i have seen the pic u are talking about. arm in arm around each other. they also used to go to events in london together ,holding hands and introducing each other as their significant….o.

    OTR by JK will bomb, like all other films k/s has been in except twi. the group the movie has been made for has been way too dumbed down to appreciate kerouac at his finest!! yes he was gay. yes his wives bearded for him( well not really they were whores and didn’t care!) i really don’t think an R rated movie is going to be over flowing with twi teens and twi moms!!! no box office.

    for those who remember who he was , and understand why he did what he did…..are def NOT going to be happy with a bunch of no listers playing kerouac and cassidy. they should have paid the really big money and gotten j.depp and a few other REAL thesbians of quality. boyo( depp) made $ 96,000,000 for his last pirates flick.!! kinda tells you what the worth k/s,t/s,r/p and that crowd have.!! they may play their games, fool their fans and think it all great fun. but when it comes down to the bottom line, we know who REALLY swims with the big boys!! ha ha! “little ashes” was bobs best film to date, before twi. he actually acted( or maybe not!!)

    So you’ve seen the film? This is how you know this? Did you enjoy it? Was there no part you liked? I was hoping there would be the freewheeling on the road beginning that, plus the drinking and druging side, Would portray the time I remember. This book was worshiped by an entire generation. They were after all ultimately very talented people. Did they get it all wrong? we have waited for this legendary epic tale for 30 plus years. I hope that I might find some redeeming portraiture that will bring kerouac to life for a new generation.
