Robert Pattinson’s Drunken Encounter With Fan

Robert PattinsonROBERT Pattinson had his photo taken with a fan in Montreal, Canada, Saturday night.

The hunky British actor, 24, has been visiting his Twilight costar Kristen Stewart and best pal Tom Sturridge, who are currently filming new movie On The Road.

Reports claim Rob “was piss drunk” when the fan photo was taken but was “really nice” and “super cute”.

It was recently alleged that Rob — who’s rumored to be dating Kristen — is on the verge of a total mental breakdown.

“Kristen’s absolutely frantic about Rob,” said one insider. “She’s never known him to get so upset.

“He’s gone from obscurity to being one of the biggest stars on the planet and the pressure he’s under is unbelievable. She’s trying to keep his spirits up but she’s worried he needs more support than he lets on.”

      I think Rob should spend more time back home in the UK when he’s between jobs so that he stays grounded and doesn’t end up believing his own publicity.     First of all Rob doesn’t look piss drunk. The media most always blows things out of proportion.
    Secondly I seriously think that the picture is somewhat staged.It seems when ever a celebrity is somewhere other then California a picture of them pops up on the internet with a pretty looking girl who I am sure is a fan to some degree. There are fans out there who aren’t the model/homecoming queen type who would love to have their picture taken with a celebrity. It seems though that this will never happen because the media may find them “unsuitable ” for the world to see.
    Rob and Kristen deserve private lives of non speculation and judgement just like the rest of us. Give them a break. Maybe Rob was out having a drink or more and Kristen was nearby,we will never know and in reality it is none of our business. If the media stops hounding them,we may see a not so worn out Rob and Kristen. I love the Twilight series and the other movies they have both done. I do NOT like the consistent negative attention brought on by the media.

      My post doesn’t seem to be going through, but according to fan reports last night (they are all over on blogs and stuff), Kristen was shooting last night with Garrett and Sam Riley. Rob went out with Tom and Sam Riley’s wife. Kristen showed up when she was done filming. She had her hoodie on, probably didn’t want to be bothered. The girl in this pic said on her lj report that Kristen and Rob are definitely together. So I find it funny that certain fansites and blogs like this choose to leave that part out. Can we say agenda?

    You know what I think is funny…. if you go onto RobsessedPattinson there are several pics of Rob with fans at that bar that night and one with Rob in a corner with several girls and then another outside with a different girl…rob is with girls,girls and more girls..too funny but the best part is that in one of them there is TomStu..sitting on a step waiting for him to finish taking the picture.LOL… he’s an actor too and the girls just aren’t asking him to be in the picture. Poor guy,it must be humiliating to endure that all the time. LOL. I kind of feel sorry for him. He doesn’t look like he is having fun.

    Ive never been to Montreal. Do they not have nice hotels, with mini bars in them, or even full bars in the deluxe suites? Do they not have package liquor stores?

    If R wanted privacy, he wouldn’t have been at that bar. He could have sent TS out for the booze, and hung out in the hotel till his little honey pig got done working.

    He was out, IMO, because he likes going out to the bars, and because he Had To make another apperance.

    Some of you can tell by looking, that he’s not drunk? I think not. I have many pics of myself out at clubs, too buzzed to drive,yet not falling down drunk, but I still looked good for pics. JS.

      Montreal is loaded with fabulous hotels and bars. Lots of clubs. Alot of small intimate bars. Beautiful place.

      Both Robert and Kristen have said that they don’t have a problem with fans and they take picture and sign autographs all the time…they have a problem with paparazzi and I don’t think it’s nearly as bad out there as it is in Hollywood. However, he probably didn’t think that these “girls” would attach a story about how “drunk” he was after he was nice enought to take a picture with them.

    Rob’s fan…thanks. I’m not judging..I’m not a fan of KS but I’ve always maintained that he has a right to live his life as he sees fit and that as long as he is happy, who cares. I just enjoy his films. Yah, he may be drunk but where I come from the expression pissed is that your are so drunk you can’t barely stand. Obviously he holds his liquer well. I really don’t care if he was drunk..as long as he isn’t driving… have at it. LOL. I’m all about people having a good time. He’s not a teenager on drugs, he’s a 24 year old adult having some drinks with a friend at a bar being courtious to his fans in a big way. That’s clear from the many pics taken of him that night. I don’t think he was minding all the pretty women. hahaha. It sad though that TomStu had to just sit there and endure it all…no one wanted photos of him.       I think the ungratfulness they are both acting is quite common for those don’t need to put much effort and get what they wanted or being conveniently successful in their life. Look at those kids whose their parents are rich, they are just acting like R and K, they don’t treasure what they have, they take it for granted. It seems to me that besides the pics of him on set, the only pics we got are him hanging in the bar, having beers or whatever he drank. That is not healthy, and not even a good image to show to his teenage fans. I know that being a public person has alot of strings intact to him, but that is the path he’s going to walk if he choose this as his career. You can’t always complain about how people comment on yr private life while you being a popular actor that is the price u have to pay.     Ashleigh~ I just found out about Twilight and them around at the end of filming NM. At the beginning I held no feelings towards Rob, neither like nor dislike, coz idol is not my thing. But I kind of like Stew the moment I saw the pics of her and MA piggy riding on the street, I thought “this girl is quite loyal to her bf although she was fliming with the hot guy” Then not too long after that, R’sten was pushing down in my throat, so I don’t like both of them , of course not to mention their ungrateful attitude. Seeing the pics of them hanging out so frequently, (although they never admit anything) I kind of think R was the cause of break up btw MA and Stew. Then I didn’t like him ever since, he stole someone’s gf is the thing I despise the most, so this is the main reason I don’t like him, the main reason I don’t see him in a shy humble boy that you guys once claimed he was.

    Some people can’t handle the limelight. I’m glad Kristen and Garrett care more about work than hanging out in the social scene. We’ve all seen where that can get you. Outrageous… I am not a Kristen fan but nor do I hate her… I don’t hate Rob in fact I am a big fan, so I defend him..but that is what debate is about… defending your position. I know they aren’t victims…no one here is. Anyone who invests so much time and effort into someone they don’t even know in real life basically is bound to be disppointed at some point.         One of the things most of us loved about RP was that he was a little bit different, appeared to answer any questions with a measure of modesty and honesty, the genuine guy everyone talks about. This differntiation, I am sure is how RP wished to be perceived. As a creative actor I saw huge potential and believed he was grateful for the opportunities he has had.

        However having spun to the fans this, “I want to put it out there I want to go on a date.” ” yes I would date a fan” I am at quite a loss to see him as anything but a fraud when he clearly, as you stated has a girlfriend. Why would you do that? Between RP and KS they have fostered Robsten and Nonsten which believe you me is bigger than either of their careers all due to their reluctancy to confirm if they are dating or not. What is the big deal here, oh but I forgot it provides them with constant publicity.

        One of the several aspects his fans love about RP is that he appears to be a little bit different and in interviews came across as honest in his answer; the genuine deal people talk about.

    Ashleigh- You really shouldn’t put too much hope in Zac, he is not the angel you think he is. You setting yourself up for disappointment again. i’m affraid that Zac’s career is teedering right now…if he doesn’t find a film that can jump start him again, I’m affraid he may not make it long. See…Rob’s movie went up against a blockbuster like Alice in Wonderland and still trippled profits. Unfortunately Zac only went up against insception and well that movie didn’t make the money alice did…Zac’s fans weren’t enough to let the movie break even. Rob’s movie was an indie film with a low budget and Zac’s was a major studio production with triple the budget of Robs. yet, zac’s film didn’t break even. That is not a good sign. Zac is a nice kid but he made the mistake of getting involved with Disney..unfortunately Disney kids have a hard time being accepted in the mainstream acting because they have to be so happy and perky all the time or Disney will cut them. That’s why you only see this side of Zac..he can’t afford to be himself. i saw him on Graham Norton and in a book Graham read ..it said he likes short pudgy girls…he smiled and you know he wants to say…no not really but then he (through his teeth) said ..yah..that’s about right. i’m sorry but Vanessa is hardly that and he was allegedly with her at the time of the interview. Trust me if anyone is controlled by a studio it’s Zac. He’s very career depends on Disney.

    mainly this whole robsten debacle- now im not some jealous 12 year old fangirl… and i adore zac efron but also vanessa as well… so dont call me jealous please- but the way rob has lied to the fans for months about kristen- even recently during eclipse promo he said – i would like to put it out there that i havent had a date in so long, im single, we are just friends, i would love to date, etc etc and on and on it goes…

    now to say all that and then cos of the latest pics- its obv there is something going on with them- well its just deception in my eyes…. all they had to do months ago was admit it but then immediately say- this is private we wont talk about it… again zanessa is a perfect example… but no they kept everyone guessing and having ppl at each others throats on e online etc (which was ridiculous) just cos they knew it generated more interest and PR in themselves-

    they kept the interest on them by doing this- thats why the paps hounded them for the money shot of a kiss etc… if they admitted it months ago- by now they would have had peace and ppl would accept it, lose interest a bit and move on- it shows me they were playing a very clever game while all the time saying they hate the attention??? i dont think so….

      The thing is, you don’t know either one of them to judge their chracter. You don’t like Kristen? Fine! You are entitled to that opinion. However, what are you basing this on? Tabloids? Has anyone ever noticed that no one who has ever worked with her has come out and said “She’s a bitch. She’s so hard to get along with! She’s such a diva.” I have never heard that. Neither have I heard “Rob is always late on set. Rob slurs his speech. Rob is never on time for hair and make up because he was out drinking.” So maybe people should give a break to a guy who wanted to cut loose in between films and maybe people should respect who he chooses to screw because if you are a Robert fan and he loves that “bitch” then everyone else should be THRILLED! I don’t know all the details of Robert and Kristen’s relationship, but I know what I see in pictures and I saw that last week at the TCA’s he was looking like someone ran over his puppy and then a couple of days ago on the OTR set, he was a giddy as a fat kid with cake! So if you’re a Rob fan, be happy that he’s happy!

    Hi Ashleigh- You know it it possible that if they are together…that they are not in a committed relationship and that’s why he is free to say that. With careers like theres it would make sense for them to be free of commitement and just hook up when they are together. what kind of a relationship could they have always being on the road living in suitcases? In addition, they could just be best friends the three of them. I mean they have a lot in common, movies, music, TW..etc.. the point is no one really knows.

    But what I’m gathering is that its not so much that Rob’s lying, it’s who he’s lying about.

    You’re entitled to believe what you want. Just be cautious on the parallels you draw with Zac and Vanessa.

    You might also want to go back and re-read all that was said by Rob this past spring. And I’m referring to new interviews only, not recycled soundbites. Sometimes what we want to hear isn’t what was actually said.

    carla and outrageous- zac’s movie may not have done well but all the critics praised him acting- and imo zac’s acting is just as good, if not better than rob’s… it will take him time to overcome the disney hsm nonsense- for his fans to grow up a bit- but eventually they will…

    also remember that zac does not have the power of a franchisre behind him like rob has twilight at the minute- rob in two years when twilight is done and dusted will be in exactly rob’s position- on his own with nothing to back him up= also CSC hasnt been released here in the UK yet or many other countries- its too early too judge its BO success- and also there were no big names in it besides zac- remember me had chris cooper and pierce brosnan- really there is room in HW for them both- zac will have a long and great career- a bit like Leo- he struggled too after titanic and look at him now… that will be zac in a few years and i hope rob too- they both deserve it..

    Ok. Carla; i agree with you on one point; they could be in an open relationship, or just friends ( i have to say that i don’t believe the latter). HOWEVER,that wouldn’t change my and the girls’ dissappointment in him, ’cause this would prove that he and kristen got along well, enjoyed each other’s company, sharde the same thoughts on things and had a lot in common. Well,i hate what Kristen stands for, she is inappreciative,impolite and a bad role model and an irresponsible girl, and i dislike people like her, i always have. I can go on forever making myself clear on this matter but i won’t as i assume you must know how i and my friends must feel about her by now. If Rob is reading through the posts on this or any other board, he must know that people dislike kristen for the reasons mentioned above but adore rob for his self effacing,polite,humorous and kind side. Is he becoming like Kristen, or was he sugar coating his true colors all along? I hope not, nevertheless, i cannot be sure at this point. I thought Rob was an intellectual who liked reading, appreciated different forms of art and was approachable and down to earth, was that a cover up? ‘Cause you know Kristen comes off as this uncool, problematic girl.. How could he get along with her? By the way; i disagree with you on one other thing; they cannot be lacking commitment, if they did he would not fly miles to see her,he would hang out with her when they were put together for filming, promotional stuff etc.. he wouldn’t spend his down time with her if they were just bonded by sex.     Ashleigh- He never left Disney. Disney is a huge franchise, much bigger than summit. I’m just saying…he’s more under the thumb of the powers than anyone and he will say and do as they please. He is not a bad person for it, …it’s life in the big city. disney does more than just high school musical…they do all sorts of movies, comedies, etc.. I like him, i just don’t think he’s all that. And Leo had several really good films before Titanic.. in fact “What’s eating Gilbert Grape” he was nominated for an award for his outstanding performance playing a special needs kid. He will brilliant in that movie, co-star was Johnny Dep. The only thing I have heard Rob say is that he and Kristen have a lot in common, they have a speical bond because of what they are going through with Twilight… they have each others backs. I have heard him say that he would like to go out on a real date… doesn’t mean he was dating Kristen at the time or if they are even in a commited relationship. I really don’t think that is the case. And for the record, he does read a lot, he does listen to many forms of music including classical and he plays classical as well… that has been shown over and over.. his favorite performer is Van Morrison. Not exactly 50cent if ya know what I mean. He’s not the perfect man and in fact he is always putting himself down for various reasons.. he has never pretended to be otherwise and it’s sad that people assumed he was and now are dissapointed when they realize he is just a young man with faults. Although..I don’t see what the big deal is again, who cares who he is dating and why. It doesn’t affect our lives does it? He obviously likes her as a person, he sees past her faults and I agree she has many but maybe it’s her lack of caring that is drawing him to her that he is living vicariously through her. you can do that with friends too. And what of Tomstu? I don’t see anyone saying he is a bad influence on Rob…let’s face it… it wasn’t until he started hanging out more often with Tomstu that you started seeing Rob out and about more going to parties and bars and flying to see Kristen, etc.. Has anyone thought that maybe he is the bad influence? but again, he has a right to pick and choose his friends and live his life as he pleases, don’t you think?

    Ashleigh- Zac is owned by Disney, of course he is going to dot his i’s and cross his t’s with the media. Disney kids have to watch there every move. Zac never left Disney. They are a huge, i mean huge film company, way bigger than Summit. don’t be fooled, seriously. Rob does read, he loves classical music and many other forms of music as well that hasn’t changed. I think you may just be jaded about this whole Kristen thing..the parts of rob you mentioned you loved about him is exactly what Kristen and many other actors have said about him in the past.     outrageous, I wasn’t going to post today as i’ve already spent far too much time and energy on this pointless topic. This will be my only post today so i can enlighten you at least to MY perspective, but i am curious as to why YOUR so curious of our thoughts? I know if i was rob, i’d be curious as to what people were thinking, but i’m sure he has “people” for that right? hrmmm. anyway, it’s very simple, and it’s been stated up above by a few already, contrary to what most believe, it has nothing to do with jealousy of kristen. We joke but we would LOVE to see Rob in a healthy commited relay, but it’s fairly plain to see this is NOT the case atm. I dislike that girl intensely for several personal reasons, whether she is different in real life or not, it’s a moot point because she’s already “put out there” a certain image and her words cannot be taken back now. I am FAR from prudish, trust me on that, but the fact she does pot at the very least, is enough to make her a bad role-model, and whether she wants to be or not she IS one. relay or not this whole thing reeks of PR which in turn diminsihes any respect they would have gotten from a lot of fans if they had been honest from the get-go. We on this site are not tween twi-hards who will not blindly follow rob or anyone else. We will hold him accountable because he is. And the reason he is because he chose this career path, we are REAL people who spend time and hard earned money putting asses on theater seats to see HIS films, which in turn puts money in his pocket and gets him jobs. We don’t even ask a lot of him, just don’t play stupid childish games. it really isn’t that hard! I can’t think of any other HW couple who have supposedly been together this long and NOT been confirmed, it’s ridiculous if you really think about it. This whole farce has brought out the worst of everyone involved, including fans. We have nothing to lose anymore, robs going to have to take his bashing…somehow i doubt he cares very much what a few women on a gossip blog thinks, but he should…for the record, if he does miss his family reunion for his “friends” than shame on him!

    Your opinions are your opinions! This is my take they may be together but I think Rob rushed to the set to keep an eye on Kristen cause she has eyes for Garrett her co-star. To Lisa once a cheater always a cheater,so true. She gushed about how she thought Garrett was so talented as well as he said the same things in an interview. She did smile in one pic but she did not seem that happy in the other ones.I hope Rob does see this and Wise’s up about this so he does not get hurt or Kristen does not get hurt. It is Hollywood and most relationships don’t last with co-stars.It is better not to date co-stars.I am with you on this, I don’t think it will last and I really think he put out clues to someone out there that he is single but that person maybe is not ready to be with him so he went to see Kristen. I don’t think his heart is all that into her so I think she senses this and will move on or Rob will. This is my opinion not sure how this will end.

    I’ve been lurking this site for a very, very long time but never had the guts to comment because I’m not a native english speaker and didn’t want to make a fool out of myself. I will take that risk now and post my opinion. I realy liked this site because it’s “fairytale” free and people commenting here are thinking with their brain, not like others who cannot separate reality from fiction. I still think people see Robert & K as a materialization of their perfect relationship/ real love dream …. to much sugar makes you sick and most importantly isn’t fair for the real people, the actors to be constantly seen as their characters. They deserve to be loved for their real selves. That’s why I don’t like to “ship” this two – because we never knew/ we don’t know/ we will never know what is really happening behind closed doors. They can very well still be only Friends.
    Call me jelous, blind or delusional but I just don’t see them as a couple, they don’t act like one and their words prove otherwise too… I don’t get the “private relationship” aspiration either – as long as they are popular, they will never know the meaning of the word “private”anymore . They know this and still, shippers keep saying “they are private about their relationship” – um, yeah!that’s why they are seen together, they are keeping their so-called-relationship private!Tell me about it!Keeping a relationship private in an no privacy environment is absurd – something here doesn’t really fit, don’t you agree?? . I don’t know, just my humble opinion.
    People will take this as they want to – some will say: “I agree with you, Robert isn’t in reality the man we all liked at the beginning and that he is fake; others will say: “I don’t agree with you, Robert is what I think he is, he will never do that/likes to do this …/will never say that or I KNOW he is like that. We, all, don’t know a thing what’s going on or how they really are, we just assume, debate…
    LOL, I probablly don’t make any sense and this is a long-ass comment that nobody will give a shit or read to that matter too, so I give myself the privilege to continue. I just really need to take this off my chest because this recent days made me sick: have entered into a “sugar-induced-coma” and also became “hate-intoxicated” at the same time.
    I really like Robert and Only Robert, I’m in no way, shape or form a fan of Kristen Stewart – I don’t hate her, I just don’t like her. But then again, like some X’STENS will be fast in bitch-naming me, I don’t know her so I’m not objective myself about all this situation. But I sure see how she portrays herself in public and to the fans, what she says and how she acts in the public-eye. Don’t give me that shit that she is oh-so-shy and gets-so-nervous that she doesn’t know want’s she saying anymore. Nobody that swears like that, talks like that (see The Runaways Commentary) and dresses like that is shy in my opinion – I may be a blind old-fashioned fool, but I don’t buy it.
    Robert on the other hand, in my opinion (yeah I know: subjective) is different. He is not perfect and everyone who ever thought that he is need to stop seeing him like a deity (I think that’s no longer available, seeing how much of his fans are dissapointed and had turned their back on him recently).
    He:
    * makes mistakes,
    * has vices,
    * has his pleasures like everyone else
    * is in one way or another bound/ limited by contract clauses .

    But also:
    * has a lot of virtues;
    * his actions, on many ocassions, have proven he is,in a way, a well-mannered, tender and warm young man;
    * gives, at times, some very insightful interviews and have proven to be well read and a little old-fashioned in some aspects;
    * he always takes pictures and gives autographs to his fans and is grateful to them – he said it himself that he doesn’t know how to treat or please this fans that wait for him for so long and how a few freakin’ second in his company could possibly be worth it – he sincerly still doesn’t understand it;
    * and other qualities for that I don’t have the space and time to name, but I’m sure you Robert-fans all know what I’m talking about, that why we became his fans in the first place .

    Okay, as a conclusion to my, as well, very subjective opinion (but stating your opinion about someone you like would never be in an objective manner)you can tell me that this can be the way he planned and wanted to be seen from the start. That he has “build” a entirely different person from himself to commercialize to the people and that his public-persona is a very well thought marketing “product” to manipulate millions of women in putting down their money .
    I highly doubt that, his fame was too all of a sudden – he couldn’t have had the time to think this and play it at the same time so quickly . Ohh, and another proof: did you see the videos from back “Harry Potter” time??? Isn’t he shy, well-mannered, well-raised kid??? – our principles, the way our parents raised us, our childhood period and environment is definitory for our our personality, ot’s like the first few bricks that biuld the house, the ones that keeps it straight, so it doesn’t fall down.
    He is true, ladies! The actions you now condemn him for, could only have been made(by him) for an entire different purpose as you think. There can be many possibilities, but also none of them can be stated as TRUTH until there is a confirmation/ deny from any of the parts involved. And they have repetedly stated the nature of their relationship but as one of the parts have said – it can be taken in all ways possible and everytime there will still be a question mark remaining, for every response from their part . They are in a no-win situation, they will never (as long as the hype is still alive) be belived, whatever their response might be .
    So why still answering it, why still try to control an uncontrollable situation . And as Robert have said, why take yourself too seriously when the best way for keeping you sane is “leaving your brain at the door”, so that you will “not waking up one morning beeing a different person then you were before” and “trying not to drown” or as Taylor have said they “live in 2 different worlds” – it’s a way of keeping a sane head on his shoulders.
    I’m sorry for the long rant ot for my english and I hope I made myself understood. It just made me very sad that people can judge other people without a proof and based only by appearances . Appearances are deceitful in any way you take it.
    Like someone has said on here, I don’t want you to think that you are wrong, everyone has opinions and a different point of view . I just want you, who are interested, to see my point of view. That doesn’t mean I’m right, only because this is all we can do as fan of someone or gossip board regulars – we debate.

      I think your English is awesome and I thought your comment very thought out and respect your opinion for sure. You are right about no one really knowing what is going on behind closed doors. BUT we have followed him for a long time and something is off something really bad and you can tell just by interviews and sitings and other things. If I would have heard a straight-up “Yes!” from one of them I wouldn’t be commenting this now, nor would I back off – it’s his life; but them trying “to keep it private” is where it bugs me – when they both know their relationship (if there is any love involved) couldn’t be private in any way and no matter how much they try…My point is, they are not stupid (I talk for Robert, because for Kristen I really wouldn’t put my hand in fire…no way!), have an army protecting their image and making sure no one’s public-persona is stained in front of their followers (not us, but fantasy-driven people that besides seeing the films x times in theaters, they also buy a big-load of merchandise too – aka obssesed people – I have to be honest here and put myself in this category too, not Twilight, just Robert obssesed, only the reality that I’m up at 5 am, having work in 2 hours speaks volumes about me, am I right??lol .
        Bottom line, I don’t want you thinking that I have a right in changing your opinion, but I don’t feel right, as there are fans that are dissapointed in him, not some crazy ass haters – that wouldn’t matter. But you are his fans/ or was and this makes it a little too serious, in my opinion…. You could judge him too harshly, you know?. I don’t know, call me naive – because I am (I can’t belive what this man has done to be) – I just still belive in him. If he’s doing something, he must be doing it for some reason.
        I too feel slightly dissapointed myself, but at the end of the day we are all just admirers of his personality, his work or looks .

      I have to agree with a lot that you say. I also have to say that I can not help but be disappointed by all of this because it really has become such a circus. And, when a person invests time, energy, emotions, into something or someone and they are disappointed because they feel they have been lied to or deceived, it brings out the anger in the best of us.
      I know Rob isn’t perfect, I wouldn’t want him to be. I think some of his vices are quite endearing, actually. What has become SO emotionally draining over all of this is that they both say one thing and do another, constantly evade the question EVERYONE wants the answer to, and make a mockery of their fans in doing so. I say, the best and only way to handle this right now is the TRUTH. No matter who it offends, Robstens, nonstens, krisbians, whomever – it is just time to end the game. It’s exhausting.

        I just like it in here more, because you know what? – I now realise that a real fan understands that no one is perfect,not even his idol, can see his flaws and express their opinion on what they see wrong. And another thing, you didn’t leave, you still comment here, even if he dissapointed you – you are still his fan after all…
        Time will tell, I’m sure time will tell what’s the thing we don’t understand now.     Just an interesting fact:

    I don’t know how it happens in Canada or the States, but in some European countries when you sign you work contract there is a clause about behavior outside the firm. If they think you portrayed yourself inappropriate they have the legal right to fire.

    So even when we are not working we must behave accordingly to society standards. Recently a doctor was fired from the hospital because of his questionable behavior.

      I hear you, Gabi. But, I don’ think Summit are going to fire him. He knows that too. I can’t imagine Fox being very pleased with his behavior, but again, what are they going to do?
      He is the hottest thing going right now and is pretty much thumbing his nose at them all. I just hope he sees this before it is too late and he has ruined his career due to the backlash.
      Eventually, the next ‘hot item’ will come along, studios won’t want to babysit, other actors won’t want to work with him due to the controversy, etc. I really would like to see him make it work, but on this path, he needs to start with honesty.

    Yes, Summit (those God like creatures) told WFE director to end production one week prior to TCA (for which Summit OF COURSE picked the date of award show) so that Rob will have time to fly to see Kristen to celebrate Edward & Bella’s Anniversary date all week.     Terri- no offense but who do you think Summit is? They are an indie company..small potatos even with TW compared to the big boys. Sure they made millions but if you think they can dictate to other production companies as to when they wrap their projects then you are delusional. no way did they wrap WFE just for Summit. They are in competition with one another.. Summit is not the production company on WFE. In addition, they don’t own FOX and cannot dictate to FOX when to have their award show. just so you know production companies don’t like long and costly production costs therefore wrapping a movie up proper and quickly is cost effective. However it was not quick by any standards. They spent a good amount of time on WFE in different locations. It baffles me how little people know about the inner workings of these companies but they are quick to accuse them of conspiracy theories. LOL. I agree with GABI no valid proof has been provided that they are anything but friends. I was sad for Tomstu who had to sit there and watch all the girls swoon over Rob asking for photos and none of them asking Tom to be in the photos too even though he is an actor as well. I think the probability of this happening is damn big when you think too highly of a person, that person is surely gonna make a mistake.

        I can say to you in all honesty, that I would have no problem what-so-ever if this Rob and Tom relay existed. For whatever reason, I can’t even explain myself – I would find that more acceptable than this thing he has with Shrew.
        However, I have to say that Summit must have hit the jackpot in filling the two main roles of E&B with two gay actors? Really? Now – they can go out and be eachothers beards? IDK. That just seems awfully far fetched to me.

        What I am anxious to see is how they are going to handle press and promotion for BD parts 1 &2. By the time these films hit theaters, it may be a whole new ball game entirely. The large tween/teen fanbase that exists are growing up and will have moved on to things beyond Twilight and possibly RP. They will have relationships of their own and therefore their world will not rely on the existance of Robsten. So, time will tell if this will be a success or an ‘epic’ failure.

    Hello everybody~!! Just want to share a interesting view. I read a newspaper today and there is an article about how HP’s actor Daniel Radcliffe starting to lose the “good kid” image that the studio feriously tried to protect and maintained for the past years. As you all may know the last series of HP is finished the filming, it reported that Daniel starting to go to bars frequently, drinking and hanging out. Also, Emma Watson cut her hair shortly to become a strong, cool looking girl which is totally contrary to her previous “good girl” image as well.

    My point is the studio would do all they wanted to create and keep their actors’ images to match the roles in the films. I agree the above that this is a game no matter this “epic love” is real or not. But once it’s done, then they will be like HP’s actors that they would get free from the images that the sheeps impose on them. Ladies, by that time the dickhead Rxx will start hanging around with diff. girls again just like he did before R’sten craps chaos.

      You are absolutely correct! The studios DO have a lot to say in the personal lives of these actors when they are under contractual obligation. If you will remember, a few years back, Dan R. was reported as having dated a transvestite! Well, no way were the fans ever going to accept HP as such, so QUICKLY – that little problem disappeared and wouldn’t you know it! Not a peep of any such scandal since! ;)

Just try to find anyone who encountered her at the UK Elle Awards and see if they have anything good to say about her. Try to find out why the supposed Burberry ads didn’t happen (she was at their fashion show over here as a precursor).Try to find out what the BAFTA people think of both her and Rob. When you are invited to be a presenter at the BAFTAs (Rob was a presenter and she ‘won’ an award – or rather the TWIT saga loonies did multiple votes), there are some duties incumbent up on you that include attending the social event and the dinner. They don’t include running out very publicly from the dinner on the pretext that you have an early call for filming. That can backfire on you when a newspaper gossip column points out that you were having dinner together at 2:00 am. And you can get a nasty shock when you come back from a trip to NY promoting Remember Me to find that the BAFTA people have complained to Bel Ami’s producers and you get a very harsh telling-off as a welcome-back. This has damaged Rob over here. The UK’s film/theatre community is quite small and people haven’t forgotten that he was fired from a play at the Royal Court Theatre after Goblet of Fire because he thought he knew better than the director. His ‘head up own bottom’ behaviour these days obviously mirrors his rodent-faced companion’s. He was playing a different game for a while in the US as the sweet, good-natured and funny, odd-ball Brit. Being with rat-face has just brought out his more unpleasant side –or is she his drug supplier and that’s what has caused this behaviour? The trashy t-shirt, the ‘all about hate’ comments on internet blogs, supporting K’s ‘like being raped’ comment, and not giving a word of reproach about her ‘defecating on the Queen’s face’ comment show that he can be as repugnant as she is – he’s like Jekyll and Hyde. Since his taste is for this repulsive little rat-bag he should stay in Hollywood with the rest of the trash and not stink up London by coming back here. If he carries on this way I suspect his career will be over once the TWIT rubbish has ended – in fact maybe even before that. I’d take a bet that BA will be a failure as the Robstenites only want to see him with the walking pustule, so they won’t want to see either that or WFE. And most of his more intelligent and discerning fans will have given up on him by then as it’s hard to tell which side of his face he’s talking out of. It’s such a pity but I think this is all down to her. I believe that the only reason she is in OTR is because of the commitment the producers made to her a long time ago. I bet if they had had the opportunity they would have dumped her and hired a better actress with a less repugnant personality. It’s a horrible thing to say but I’d love him to go to a personal appearance and have either no one show up or be booed. That might wake him up.

    Now, an Admirer is an individual who looks at a celebrity’s work only. They will critique, and comment about the celebrity “work” only. Instead, this person does not over step boundaries established by the celebrity, which puts the celebrity in control because the Admirer can distinguish the person from their work.

      Open Book – my thoughts are that you are full of hot air. You pontificated enough about RP pulling away from the Robsten scenario and it couldn’t be further from the truth. As for groupies vs admirers – I admired him because he seemed different and because I knew he could act – Haunted Airman, etc. He also appeared genuine and natural. From what I know of Ms Stewart through friends who have come into contact with her over here, she is a very unpleasant individual. The down-to-earth person doesn’t exist but a foul-mouthed and self-important one does. If he likes someone like that then they must be similar – unless it’s all about his gonads. I need to admire the person not just the actor, and the BAFTA incident bothered me as it showed he wasn’t serious about his work or the opportunity he’d been given. He’s obviously a lot younger mentally than his actual age. That’s probably why he gets on so well with his cretin level screwing partner. Like her he now appears to have an over-inflated idea of his abilities. I think he will be getting a nasty shock in the not-so-distant future.

    To comment about someone personal life is human nature, we try to avoid it but we hardly achieve it.

    When it comes to HW and it´s stars I am not physical or emotional invested, I am not even economically invested. I am probably one of Summit´s worst client.

Something you ought to know about Hollywood… go with the trends even in personal lives…if you haven’t noticed being a couple is BIG right now.. Zac and Vanessa, Megan and her beau.., all getting engaged or married and very much in the public interest…in fact moreso than before. It’s the trend..it’s hip to be hitched. Just like a couple of years ago.. it was the in thing for Hollywood actresses to get pregant, have babies..seems like they were all letting loose at once. Rob and Kristen …if they are a couple will be known as the next POWER COUPLE. Fans will go nuts and flock to the movie. So I don’t think this will hurt either their careers. Plus..you have to remember that fans..true fans will be desperate to see the films because once BD is finished..that’s it…no more TW movies coming.. they will want to run to the box office. It happened with Lord of the Rings, it will happen with Deathly Hallows and it will happen with BD.

    There are PR people who are paid big bucks to secure public perception in a good way. They do it by averages..sure their may be some discruntled fans but the devoted fans far outweigh the angry fans. Oh, and by the way…Rob just got done working 16 hour days… 7 days a week for several weeks so this is considered his vacation/weekend…so what if he goes out and gets pissed on a weekend or even a weekday.. this is his holiday. When you go on vaction (especially at his age) didn’t you go out and have some drinks or party it up? I certainly do or did. I live by a port where cruise ships doc and believe me the minute people are on board they are already at the pool having margaritas before the ship even sets sail. People have to lighten up.. they all sound like a bunch of old nags. Really, i’m probably older than most of you and I’m not even that much of a judgmental person. Talking about going off the deep end with holding people to unreasonable standards.

    D. I think we all felt this way. He came on the spot as this wonderful humble adorable guy. She comes on like…omg..well we all know how she comes on. The t-shirt told me so much.
