JOHN Travolta‘s wife Kelly Preston hosted an all-female baby shower for friends and family in Los Angeles last week.

Kelly — who recently announced she’s expecting the couple’s third child — celebrated her pregnancy by gathering with loved ones for a girly bash at the Beverly Hills Peninsula hotel on Friday, August 13.

Preston treated her 30 guests to high tea and finger sandwiches, scones and cakes, which cost the Travolta’s $75 per person.

“Kelly’s carrying beautifully,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer. “She’s glowing and says she feels fantastic…

“Kelly received gorgeous gifts, and each guest made her an individual baby bib at the table and signed their names. It was very sentimental.”

Preston and Travolta — who are also parents to daughter Ella, 10 — will welcome their new addition later this year. Their 16-year-old son Jett died in January, 2009 after suffering a seizure.

Reports earlier this month claimed John and Kelly are planning to buy a $2.5 million lakeside house.

The pair have been looking at a property on the shore of Keuka Lake, New York, and are hoping to make the sale quickly so they can relax before the birth.

“The word is John’s jet recently landed at the local Penn Yan airport and the deal is ready to go down,” a source said.
