MICHAEL JACKSON’S PARENTS TO DIVORCE

Michael JacksonMICHAEL Jackson‘s parents are getting divorced.

Katherine and Joe Jackson have been married for 60 years but became estranged five years ago.

Katherine has now decided to file for divorce after growing tired of Joe’s cruel behavior — he suggested she was to blame for their son’s shock death last year.

“She’s been humiliated by him for too long. She’s absolutely livid. There’s no going back,” a source said.

Despite already being separated Mrs Jackson was said to be reluctant to officially end the marriage, because as a Jehovah’s Witness she doesn’t believe in divorce.

    I know for a fact that many Jehovah’s Witnesses practice unscriptural divorce (divorce without adultery ). Don’t let anyone mislead you on this. And yet Witness literature expressly denounces it as a sin.

Jehovah is perfect, men here on earth are imperfect-they make mistakes (if you “got no help from the Elders”) as you said, then God will deal with them. you must realize that by writing this online that your a pioneer (stumble someone) remember your criticizing Jehovah’s organization-by writing this info down.ps sorry abt your marital problem it must be extremely hard,hope you take good care of yourselve…..pls do not take offense…

    She is getting a “legal” divorce not a Bible based divorce. The only grounds for a Bible divorce is Adultry and almost all Christian religions agree on this. Only if she where to remarry would she be sinning against God. Or she may have grounds if Joe has been sleeping around. The Bible says “God hates a divorcing”. Mental abuse amoung other things is a reason for a Divorce but it does not free that person t remarry. Jehovah’s along with other religions belief just what the Bible says.

    Best of luck to all of the battered Jehovah’s Witness wives out there. Just remember, if you decide to divorce the man that’s beating you and marry somebody else, your loving brothers and sisters will have to disfellowship you and shun you. After all, it’s what a God of love would want!

      Look i was married to a witness and divorced him in a year after he beat me and almostkilled me because i would not switch over to his beliefs and christmas and birthdays away from my children. kathren went threw the abuse and joe sleeping around to long about time she sticks up for herself and leave him. mike would be happy for her as long as she is happy and being with joe she is not happy

    Why are we discussing this very private matter between a man and a woman. Remember, Michael forgave his father. Isn’t this the “tabloid media” Elizabeth Taylor begged us to not buy into? Katherine is in CA and Joe is in NV. We don’t really know what he’s doing – he’s 80!!! Yes, he was and is an attention grubber, but we all know that and take him with a grain of salt. Michael was about LOVE. Let’s not forget that and let’s proudly carry on his message. Michael was so forgiving, how many of us can do the same? I love you Michael – may God wrap you in His warm loving arms.

    No Wonder Michael left the church! I hope she gives the Jehovah’s Witnesses the boot too. According to my Baptist friends, adultery is grounds for divorce. I checked the King James version of the Bible ( Not the doctored up version with the questionable Hebrew).
    Adultrey is grounds for divorce! She should have left him a long time ago! Michael would have still been famous, The only difference would be that his other brothers would still be with their original wives! They would have custory of their children and sanity would have reigned in the JAckson household. Oh well, better late than never!

    its about damn time, but to blame katherine for michael’s death! that goes beyond cruel. my prayers go out to the family and particularly michael’s three beautiful children, who are already suffering enough and now have to deal with this. just makes me sad

    well from what I see Katherine and hear first my heart goes out to you and Michael’s children, second as for your husband Joe I would of toke his butt to the curve !! No joke been down that road with my husband as well toke all i could take from him ! I had 4 children and I didnt want my children seeing him or hitting them any more !! sure it hurts but the pain will go away and the kids would be better off ! As for Michaels 3 children I will keep Joe away from them he is a very sick man ! As for Michaels death it was not her fault !! A parent can sit down with their children and talk to them until they are blue in the face but that no mean they are going to listen Michael was 50 yrs.old he was his own boss and father of 3 he should of non better !! the only ones in this that are paying is his children because now they will have to go on in life without their father and hearing about what their father has done its so sad

    katherine jackson is so not responsible for michael’s death? how dare him say that…! mother kathrine is a saint and one of the most loyal people on the face of this earth…joseph jackson made his decision along time ago in 1984…! he has his own family with another woman and another child by her…!!!!!!!!!! kathrine should have left along time ago…understandable of her beliefs…but cheating and adultry is grounds for divorce…and subsequently too so is beating and child abuse…! my heart goes out to mother kathrine and michael’s three children, michael and janet the very most…! how you stood for such abuse from joesph old school or not abuse is abuse…! discipline is one thing correction is one thing abuse is not in that catagory…!
    kathrine does have grounds for that divorce and should have been long ago…i love the mother kathrine so much she is the glue that held that family together and nobody will blame her for this whatever he decision i will support her with it…because of what she has done and the love that she has always had….love u most

    Finally!Even though in an Oprah interview I saw in November,Katherine said she & Joesph wasn’t going to get a divorce saying it was ridiculous and even if it is against her religious preferences. I believe as a fan of the whole family and what they stand for, the time has come.Sixty Years living with a man like that its, just amazing how she could put up with him & I really admire her.Also Joe pointing fingers at her for Micheal’s death like come on really.Michael said in his Autobiography “Moonwalk”.They he loved his father but he felt he didn’t really know him.So if anyone should responsible it should be him even if he did make Michael the iconic legend we all know.There’s only so much a person can take & its just painful.Not saying its just his father’s fault its the media everyone knows that when he needed someone to lend a hand people waved their hand away & turned up our noses.
