Lisa Marie Presley Buys $10m Home in England!

The daughter of late rock legend Elvis Presley is set to start a new life in the UK after buying a $10m stately home.

Lisa flew into Heathrow, London, earlier this week with her fourth husband Michael Lockwood, 42, and their eighteen-month-old twin girls Harper and Finley.

The couple are understood to have purchased a mansion near Tunbridge Wells, Kent, which was being heavily guarded with staff patrolling on quad bikes ahead of their arrival, according to a report in Britain’s Daily Mail newspaper.

The house — set on 90 acres — is right near the former home of Scientology founder L Ron Hubbard in East Grinstead, West Sussex. It boasts 11 bedrooms, an indoor pool and sauna and a cinema.

Presley is a renowned follower of Scientology, which she says helped her overcome her drug habit.

Lisa-Marie has previously revealed she was keen to flee Hollywood because Los Angeles had “gotten dramatically worse in the last five or six years, even more shallow if that’s even possible,” she said.

“We have found the quality of life so much more enriching and fulfilling in Britain.

“The civility, the culture, the people and its beauty have reawakened me and have smoothed out some of my bleak and jagged views about people and life.

“I can honestly say that I am the only person who came to England for the weather. I love the cold and the rain. We have fallen in love with the UK and it is our hope to live here some day.”

    I agree with her. I’d choose England in a second before I’d choose the US again. The US is a dying country, Americans just haven’t figured it out yet.

    Just hope Lisa Marie Presley visits her fathers birthplace to see the lovely life-sized bronze statue of him as, “Elvis at 13″.

    She is doing a good thing,L.A is very shallow and ugly! All people think about is money! Over there(uk) she will see many green trees in L.A all you see is concrete and sand it’s hard on you. Lot of trafic and other that some places the rest is very ugly and so much crime! England where she move have about 60,000 people cute little town and she will see green all around her and sometimes some snow on the ground…Nature is nicer there! Europe has more culture than L.A and if you don’t understand this go have a little trip and you will see ….and she is keeping her place in Hawaii for winter, this is perfect, the girl is very bright!

    And anyone going near will be shuttled away from the Presley’s by Thugs(Scientology Body Guards)
    Lisa Marie will be trotted out expected to promote one Scientology cause after another around the community using her Celebrity to bolster recruitment into their cute little cult.
