DEMI Lovato wishes she didn’t have such a big mouth!
The singer/actress has admitted she regrets being so vocal about her short-lived romance with Jonas Brothers rocker Joe Jonas.
“I learned my lesson. It’s not very much fun when you break up in a public relationship,” she told People magazine.
“So, maybe next time I will keep a secret… You want to say to your fans, ‘Guess what, I’m so in love with somebody.’
“You want to shout it from the rooftops. That’s what you do when you fall in love. At the same time, I learned my lesson. You know, I’ll go public when I marry someone one day.”
Demi — who just celebrated her 18th birthday — previously admitted she was surprised by the world’s reaction to her romance with Joe.
“I definitely did not expect this at all. But, you know, I’m going through it with my best friend so it’s pretty awesome,” she said at the time.
“He’s seen me with sweatpants on and with no make-up. I’ve seen him at his worst and his best. It’s great. Like I said, we’re best friends.”
